Without further adieu! 7 possibly weird things about Elizabeth and Anne.
- We accidentally skipped class in 8th grade together. We were sitting in the foyer after gym waiting for the bell to ring. After 20 minutes of chatter, we realized the building was really quiet. The secretary in the school office didn’t believe we hadn’t heard the bell.
- Both of us are avid readers and can read supah fast! We devour books at alarming rates. People are scared of us.
- Both are baseball fans, although Elizabeth could be classified as a rabid Braves fan. Anne married a Red Sox fan, so her loyalties are slowly being divided. Elizabeth has visited most of the MLB parks in the nation (although not in a Volkswagen bus).
- At a 1993 sleepover, we swam laps in the pool for several hours (just because we could) and taught my younger brother how to do water ballet.
- We haven’t lived in the same city since 1995, but we still finish each others sentences.
- Anne is thrifty (a kind way of saying miserly) and agonizes over spending $20. Elizabeth knows when it’s necessary to spend money, and has no problem doing so.
- Neither of us like wearing makeup, and our husbands prefer us that way.
