Reader Melissa sent over a simply etherial and whimsical pink, gray, and white board for us!
The fantastic thing about Melissa’s board is the varying shades of pink that she used to really set the mood for the event. I love tone-on-tone coloring, especially with soft and hard versions of the same color. To illustrate Melissa’s color engineering – have a look at the boutonniere next to the tie. It’s perfectly complementary but not match-y.
The shadow gray is a fantastic tone to pair with pink – I can just see letterpress invitations in gray ink with pretty pink peonies. And lastly, I adore the way that Melissa brought in ivory to neutralize the cool tones of the gray and warm the whole palette.
