So how do two stridently independent and opinionated lovebirds get married in the age of Platinum Weddings, anyway? Like so many things that would follow, we found our inspiration in the world of wedding blogs.
Michelle writes in to ask for some input and ideas for her amazing color scheme:
One of our most favorite photographers, Laura Kay, sent in this gorgeous board from a wedding that she shot last October.
Bertie from the adorable Casando Ideias blog sent over this beautiful red and white inspiration board:
Oh Red, how I love you! You’re such a strong color. You can easily overpower, but when used correctly you can also add warmth and charm. Thank you for being such a great color!
I love the concept and color scheme for this apple-inspired board by Erin from Lucky Designs!
From Ashley Baber comes a montage from a gorgeous red wedding in Atlanta. So elegant!
Laura at Vow Weddings has another fun take on the red and aqua color palette for us.
Sometimes, I can just tell I’m a Southern girl. Can I just say that if I weren’t doing what I am doing for my vow renewal that this is my new favorite inspiration?
Candice from the fabulous Jubilee Events and Connecticut Weddings blog sent us this board utilizing a gorgeous color palette of aurora red, withered rose, and ochre.
I haven’t done an inspiration board in SO long. I am already loving red week! So for this one, think upscale taco cart….Red with a twist of lime. Natural, but not vintage. With permission to use as many graphics as possible.
Happy Monday and Happy Red Week everyone! Our first reader submission is from Weddingbee’s Miss Sweet Tea – a beautiful black, white, and red board. I love the romantic and chic quality to it.
I love the mood that candle light combined with black and very dark red creates. A little vintage, a little swanky, and a LOT of elegant.
Happy Independence Day everyone! To celebrate, here is a board of red, white, and just the softest of blues.Â
