We had such a positive reaction to Heather’s work. To be honest, I’m not surprised because many of you have used her images from The Knot without realizing who she is! The tie and flower in the Orange and Gray reader board? That was Heather, and the wedding was featured in The Knot. If you’re looking for a magazine worthy photographer, she’s your girl.

Heather has been photographing weddings for eight years. She took courses in college and then continued as a hobby after she graduated. She started shooting for friends, and it progressed from there.
Her motivation for shooting these events?
I love photographing weddings because it is such an honor and privilege to capture such an important day in someone’s life. They are happy occasions and I love being able to capture photos that their kids and grandkids may look at years late and see the vibrancy and love between their parents/grandparents. That is also why I love photojournalistic style so much – I capture those true moments of joy and happiness that will live on forever.
