Gorgeous Gray Gowns

Reader Kerri dropped by today to comment on a dress we’d featured in a [intlink id=”763″]previous post[/intlink].  Unfortunately, we don’t know the designer of that dress but I promised some gray eye candy for her sister, who hasn’t been able to find the perfect gray gown.

Gray dresses are so versatile and there are several different types that popped at me when I was searching.  The first: sweet and floaty.

Then we have the modern and structured mini dress (similar to the one that Kerri loved) – perfect to be worn with tights, boots, or killer heels.

Last but not least, the glam gowns – satiny, sequiny, you name it, you can find it in gray.

I think what’s so fantastic about gray and what we are all drawn to is its versatility.  Name a color and it can be paired with gray (remember gray and brown in our color week?).  Plus, it’s a dark neutral so it’s flattering to many different complexions and body styles.  Last but not least, it exudes glamour and has a timeless quality (after all, it’s really the color of all those black and white photos we absolutely adore, isn’t it?).

Gray is perfect for your bridesmaids.  It’s also a great color for you to wear to your rehearsal dinner or engagement party.  No matter what your friends are wearing, your dresses won’t look bad next to each other!

Kerri, I hope this helps you and your sister!
