I’m off to Boston for a week. Does anyone have great suggestions? Or stores they would love to check out? I’ll review!

Pleased to Meet You!
Hi! I am absolutely STOKED to be hanging out here at EAD and to start sharing all my crazy wedding planning-ness with you! Back before getting engaged I was a closet wedding-blog stalker. EAD was one of the first sites I stumbled upon and I have been reading daily ever since! In fact I’m pretty sure my productivity at work decreased exponentially when I discovered the library of wedding photographers.
Hi, I’m Mo! What’s Your Name?
Salutations EAD readers!! My name is Mo, and I am a quirky, creative, and thoughtful girly-girl living in San Diego with an adorable boy and a really crazy (but cuddly) cat. I am thrilled to be a blogger here at EAD. I’m embarrassed to say how long I have actually been reading wedding blogs, but let’s just say it was way, way, way, way…WAY before I was officially engaged. ;)
Reflections upon the planning process
Happy Wednesday, EAD! FYI, if anyone ever asks if you want to get married, take the board exams, move, and take grad school finals in one week, please say no. Just trust us on this one.
Hello Again!
I’m so excited to be back at EAD – Thursdays and Sundays from now until the wedding! Which, incidentally, is starting to feel real, with five months-ish to go.
Hey Y’all!
Hello out there EAD readers-my name is Brittany and I’m going to be guest blogging for a little while about my upcoming wedding and my new wedding planning business. Â I’m very excited to be a part of such a great blog that I have spent COUNTLESS hours reading for my own wedding.
Blog Action Day 2008: Poverty
Today is Blog Action Day, and the subject is poverty. So we’re going to talk a little bit today about how our weddings and our blog community can help those less fortunate or contribute to changing our world for the better, in any small way that we can.Â
How we met..
Hello! My name is Blair and I am excited to be a new guest blogger for EAD. I thought it might be best to introduce myself by letting you all in on the story of how my fiance and I met (from my POV). You can read his version of the story on our website: www.blairandjurgen.com
Tag I’m It.
I’ve been tagged by Meredith to share 6 random things about myself. Here are the rules of this little game:
What I’m up to….
At the end of January, Liene posted on a book called Thinkertoys. She was so emphatic about buying it that I immediately added to my Amazon wishlist (I’m a firm believer in listening to people who have achieved success and are still willing to share advice). It arrived yesterday, and even though I’ve barely gotten through the introduction and part of the first exercise, it has helped! Thanks Liene for passing this on!

Announcing Aisle Society!
In my 8 years of blogging, today may be cause for the single biggest celebration yet! Why you ask? At long last, it’s time to debut the brand-new Aisle Society website to the world! EAD is Hiring!
It’s official! Elizabeth Anne Designs is hiring! Are you enthusiastic, detail-oriented and can’t get enough of weddings and all things pretty? We’d love to hear from you!
Leaving on a Jet Plane…
I’m off to Dubai for the next 10 days to visit with my lovely friend Amy I!Â
For Japan With Love
My heart breaks for the people of Japan after the devastation of the past week and I know we are all searching for some way, any way, that we can lend a hand. Tomorrow, Friday March 18th, EAD will be participating in a bloggers day of silence in honor of Japan, organized by Ever Ours and Utterly Engaged. Those amazing ladies also created For Japan With Love. Any donations you make there will go to ShelterBox, an organization that provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most.

Family Wedding Photos
One special thing we are doing to honor our families at our wedding is having family wedding pictures displayed at cocktail hour. I have been collecting as many generations of pictures as possible from both sides of the families. We are fortunate enough to have all four pictures of my great-grandparents and we even know the dates of their weddings! Below are three generations of my family’s weddings. It is amazing to see how the photography, fashion and styles have changed over the years. All images are from my personal collection.
Announcing Inspired Creations Contest #2: Glitter and Glam!
It’s time for round 2 of the Inspired Creations Contest! If you’ve been around EAD for a while, you might remember all of the fabulousness of our last Inspired Creations Contest. If you’re new, well, hold onto your hats because it’s a special kind of awesome.
