It’s purple week, so obviously we have to have a purple wedding! It was a stroke of luck when Rae Leytham shot the beautiful purple wedding of Tiffany and Rick on May 31st – just in time for our color week!
The wedding was held in Loxley, AL at the beautiful Steelwood Golf Resort. The property has a lovely chapel in the woods, with only four rows of seats on each side! Perfect for an intimate affair.
Coordinated by Danielle of the Bliss Event Group, no detail was left unfinished, including the trail to the chapel. The shepherd’s hooks and hanging baskets are perfect for this rustic venue.
Tiffany’s bouquet consisted of roses and hydrangea in varying shades of purple. The floral was done to perfection by Zimlich Brothers Florist. I adore this shot because it shows a detail the bride held dear – her late grandfather’s dog tag was carried in her bouquet.
Beautiful purple bridesmaid’s gowns!
The reception was held in the beautiful clubhouse – what a great setting for a traditional Southern event!
The rustic and natural reception decor also included lots of greenery. The beautiful table was set with petit fours from Pollman’s Bake Shop at each place setting. Such a great way to welcome your guests to the reception!
Sweet Creations by Sharon created a purple masterpiece! The blue swirl detail is such a nice touch and complements the color scheme perfectly.
Last but not least, my favorite two portraits from the day.
Rae, thank you again for providing us with purple gorgeousness! The rest of Tiffany and Rick’s wedding photos can be found {here}.
