I love the mood that candle light combined with black and very dark red creates. A little vintage, a little swanky, and a LOT of elegant.
Sarah and Scott originally had a large celebration planned, but like many other brides, COVID changed that. In a cautious manner they decided to move forward with their wedding with just their 12 closest family and friends. Despite the small guest count, the design aspect was large. Their outdoor ceremony took place surrounded by banyan trees under the most stunning Chuppah. Reception was followed with the most divine tent with flowing florals and hints of citrus.
This romantic and intimate editorial shoot is set in a field of wildflowers at the Green Door Gourmet farm in Nashville. Styled by RSVP Events, the design features hues of pinks, peaches, and yellows, with gold and lilac accents for the perfect romantic summer wedding. The ceremony setting is a gorgeous floral arbor in the wildflower field, with a table, bar, cake, and a champagne/cocktail cart nearby.
Lindsey grew up in Northern Michigan and met her now husband Richard in Leland where they worked at a local lodge in the summer. When they fell in love and were engaged, they knew that Northern Michigan had to be the location for their wedding.
Sarah & Benjamin wanted guests to feel like they were entering a magical world when they arrived at their wedding and the day was full of awe-inspiring details which made that vision a reality. From getting married at the castle-like Wonderland Cluj Resort, to the horse-drawn carriage fit for royalty, to the show-stopping, jaw-droppingly lush, floor-to-ceiling florals by Elena Bodea – Las Floristas that filled both the ceremony and reception, guests were transported into a fairy tale for the day. Add to that that these two look like they walked out of a magazine themselves, and this may be one of the most dreamy weddings ever! The gallery is full of more incredible photos by Ioana Porav Photography, from the stunning rose petal seals on the stationery by Invogue Art, to Sarah’s romantic Milla Nova wedding gown (a nod to her Hispanic roots), to even more photos of their unbelievable florals, and trust us, you absolutely want to see them all!
Adria and Mike love the elegance and warmth of the holidays so when they decided to get married between Christmas and New Year’s, they chose to take inspiration for their wedding from this time of year as well! They began with a color palette of gunmetal, champagne, and rose gold and then added in bold pops of deep red in the florals by The Wild Dahlia. Adria is a self-proclaimed “history nerd” who loves the 1920’s so you’ll see a hint of art deco in their stationery and the truly amazing bridesmaids’ dresses as well. Glamorous and chic yet warm and fun, their wedding style is absolute perfection for any time of the year! Be sure to see more photos by Stephanie Vegliante Photography in the gallery below!
Dreamy, elegant, and a bit playful, today’s shoot is inspired by a bold and summery citrus-hued palette. Events with Becca designed a tablescape bursting with bright blooms, fresh-cut fruits, and a touch of romance from the beautiful calligraphy by Caitlin O’Bryant Design. The Bloom & Co. mixed florals in bold and buttery shades of yellow, orange, pink, and red, in both the stunning bouquet and centerpiece. Be sure to check out all the amazing photos by Emily Kirsten Photgraphy to see every detail like all the delicious desserts as well as the adorable pup who got all dressed up and joined in on the shoot!
A backdrop of verdant green climbing ivy and dreamy painterly florals would play a muse for any impressionist artist, so it’s no wonder that Indigo Event Design chose the stunning gardens and chateau of Monet Vineyards for this Claude Monet-inspired shoot. BLUE Floral Company created a pastel rainbow of locally-sourced florals to paint the outdoor ceremony space and stunning bouquet that is worthy of Monet’s brush itself. Lush centerpieces of coral and butter yellow peonies, lavender scabiosa, and dusty blush roses sit atop a french blue table, with just the right touch of regal elegance from gold flatware and chargers. Romantic and intimate, these photos by RTFaith Photography prove that even a micro-wedding can be a fairytale wedding too!
Kristen and Daniel’s wedding day was filled to the brim with festivities and honored each of their family’s cultures with two separate wedding ceremonies! The celebration began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where the bride and groom served tea to each set of parents to show their respect and gratitude. Later in the day, Kristen changed from her vibrant red gown to a romantic lace BHLDN gown for a Jewish ceremony under a stunning chuppah decorated with blush, peach, and ivory roses and peonies by Holly Chapple Flowers. They ended the evening with dinner, dancing, and even a sparker send-off filled with cheers from all their closest friends and family. There is so much beauty and love in this wedding so make sure you view the whole gallery below for even more photos from Jessica Green Photography!
Holly and Jacob chose the beautiful Grandeur House for their fall wedding and the all-white farmhouse was the perfect backdrop to highlight all of the personal details they chose for their event. Dusty blue tablescapes were warmed by centerpieces from A Pocket Full of Posies in hues of rust, burgundy, and orange, reflecting the fall foliage outside, and Holly’s mother used stained glass from churches hit by Hurricane Katrina to make beautiful glass flowers for the tables. Small magnolia and Japanese red maple trees were even placed in the space for the evening but then brought to the couple’s home to be planted as a memory of their big day! They did an amazing job incorporating family heirlooms into their celebration while also creating new heirlooms and Jessica Brown Photography captured each of those details perfectly!
Fall evokes the dreamiest of color palettes and also some of the most innovative pairings, we think. Brittany and Adam married near the tail-end of the fall season where society’s color palette has started gravitating away from oranges and bright reds into deeper tones. Darker reds and moodier colors like their choice of burgundy and navy blue are spot on for this time of year. We love how Elle and Jaye Events transformed JW Marriott Las Vegas into a romantic, fall wonderland with burgundy, gold, and navy blue woven together. With Susie and Will and all of the vendors strutting their best stuff for Brittany and Adam’s wedding, the result was exceptionally beautiful.
Almost instantly, a wedding in Washington, DC has visions of ultimate grandeur. Jen and Nick wed in the early spring at the Four Seasons and they left no stone unturned when it came to the ins and outs of their wedding design. Jen’s favorite blooms are the ever-stunning and lush magnolias and with that color inspiration as their jumping point, they coveted a white/ivory and green wedding with gold accents. Florist Amy from Amy Lauren Floral Designs expressed and continued the color palette by using sumptuous white peonies and white roses along with the glossy magnolia leaves. This wedding has too many impeccable elements to it, both in design and in personality. We’re just glad that Kristen Gardner captured all the splendor in full!
We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate Independence Day than with Elizabeth and Jeff’s classic Americana wedding at the Daughters of the American Revolution National Headquarters! Not only is this wedding chock full of red, white, and blue details designed by Cheers Darling Events, but Elizabeth and Jeff are so incredibly fun, and their quirky. personal additions make this wedding one for the books. Elizabeth subtly incorporated her love for cats with kitty flats perfect for dancing the night away, and Jeff’s childhood of raising and showing goats as a 4H member gave way to the “Granby Goat” cocktail, a nod to his hometown and hobby. As if that weren’t cute enough, topping their Buttercream Bakeshop confection was a topper with a cat bride and goat groom. More importantly, Elizabeth and Jeff made sure to honor their family and guests too. Elizabeth’s grandmother handpainted the invitation envelope liners, and each place setting at the reception was customized with an individual note to that guest, sharing memories and thanks for their love and support. We’re celebrating the 4th with these spectacular images from Lisa Blume Photography!
Only two words can describe today’s amazing Colorado mansion inspiration styled by Sarah of Ever So Chic Events: rich and dreamy! The Highlands Ranch Mansion was the perfect backdrop for this fresh take on elegant floral design. Inspired by the idea of chandeliers resting on a dinner table and armed with stunning crystal pieces from Artistry Events and Design, Sarah set out to create a unique and intriguing setting with a mix of whimsical watercolors and floral patterns. The mansion’s solarium’s mint walls and stately fireplace paired beautifully with supple floral print linens from La Tavola and gilded place settings from Event Rents. Rich hues of pink and red blooms by Flowers Forever Design, leafy greens, and a sea of pillar candles in the fireplace added glimmering lighting and vibrant pops of color. We adore all of the glamorous touches, right down to the two spectacular lounge areas! Prepare to fall in love with the images from Carrie King Photographer!
Erica and Alex started their big day with the most peaceful and lovely ceremony at Lincoln Park’s Saint Clement Church and ended with a fabulous dance party to the tunes of Connexion Band in the Gold Coast’s Germania Place. We adore the chic red, black, and gold color palette with floaty candy apple red bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bridesmaid and classic gold chiavari chairs in the stately ballroom. Personal details abound, such as the favors from Naper Nuts & Sweets paying homage to their high school jobs to the Ohio State cufflinks in tribute to their alma mater and the Nike Sky-his worn by the ladies to dance the night away! Each beautiful image from Tamara Gruner Photography has us smitten!
Katie and Jeffrey celebrated their nuptials on a gorgeous winter day. After a ceremony at Katie’s childhood church, the guests moved to New Jersey’s Ryland Inn for a warm and cozy reception. The Ryland Inn’s large rustic ballroom with a beautiful stone fireplace was dimly lit by candlelight and Conroy’s Creations created breathtaking large arrangements to accent the cathedral ceilings. To combat the chilly December day (theirs was a 12/13/14 soiree!), the bridesmaids accented their J.Crew gowns with soft gray pashminas. Their warm and romantic day was beautifully captured by Brklyn View Photography!
There simply isn’t one single thing we don’t adore about Jen and Jesse’s modern Brooklyn wedding. Rather than a formal dinner, the couple chose to enjoy a progressive cocktail party with their guests, a perfect mix of formality and casualness. Liberty Warehouse set the perfect scene with its industrial aesthetic. The organic greenery from Violet and Verde highlighted the brick, wood, and metal throughout the venue. As if their locale couldn’t get more breathtaking, Jen’s father created a wooden altar from scratch that, paired with Violet and Verde‘s floral, made an exquisite and personal ceremony backdrop. Jen is a vision in her Blush by Hayley Paige dress from The White Gown and the bridesmaids’ dresses add just the right pop of color. Even their choice of wedding date is perfection—they were married on Loving Day, the anniversary of the overturning of the criminalization of interracial marriage in the US. We know that you’ll join with us in falling head over heels for every sweet moment as captured by Kat Harris Photography!
Eden and Kevin were married on a gorgeous fall day in picturesque Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The sunny mountain weather at Kootenai County Fairgrounds made for a perfect setting in the midst of the late autumn leaves. Naturally, Eden, who is a florist herself, considered the florals to be the most important decor element of their day. She and her family went foraging for many of the blooms and leaves used in her farm table centerpieces created by Nicole French of Petal Talk. The end result of bouquets and centerpieces in vibrant, rich shades of pink and red is pure perfection. The love that the couple shares is palpable, and Eden shares: “I had always imagined walking down the aisle with my dad being such an emotional moment that I would cry. Instead, all I felt was complete joy and peace walking towards my future husband. It was surreal.” We know you’ll fall in love, as we did, with this lovely wedding and the stunning images from Anna Peters Photography!
Casual elegance was the theme of the day for Lindsay and Charles’ lovely St. Louis wedding. The couple gave nods to tradition and family, as Lindsay’s fluffy bouquet created by Sisters Floral Design Studio was wrapped with lace from her mother’s wedding dress, the champagne flutes for the reception toast were from Charles’ parent’s wedding, and Lindsay’s matron of honor gifted her extra tulle from her own wedding dress to be added to Lindsay’s gown. During their engagement, Charles was deployed to Afghanistan, and their love for the USA was the theme of the day, with pretty bridesmaids dresses in shades of pink and red from LoveLane, flag striped suspenders on the groomsmen, and a traditional Military Saber Ceremony. Charles’ best friend is currently deployed, and he surprised the couple with a recorded speech. “Complete with a human size cardboard cutout his groomsmen had ordered of Tyler, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.”, says Lindsay. We love each and every moment of this gorgeous day captured by Clary Pfeiffer!
Oh how we love this beautiful and refreshing take on winter wedding inspiration! The gorgeous Bitterroot Mountains in Montana are the backdrop for this stunning inspiration shoot from Soiree Event Design Spokane and Rebecca Hollis Photography. Warm mustard, french blue, and deep berry red come together to echo the beauty of the surroundings in a lovely and unconventional color palette. Home-brewed cider, hand-dipped beeswax candles, and fresh local honey butter favors (recipe below!) are just a few of the rustic, elegant details that make this shoot so personal and down to earth. A flowy gown by Claire La Faye, florals by Ashley Mitchell, and rustic rentals from the Attic complete the scene. We are smitten!
