Today’s wedding is so whimsical and has an amazing attention to detail! Lauren and Russ were married at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego. Their special day was photographed by Jamie Hammond, and designed by Amorology.
Heather from Amorology says:
“I always look for a way to incorporate the couple’s personality and when I heard that one of Russ and Lauren’s favorite past times was visiting art museums, I of course had to know who their favorite artist was. Lauren shared with me her passion for Monet and her love of his gardens. We then knew that we needed somewhere with outdoor gardens. I immediately thought of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe with it’s large grass lawn and surrounding rose gardens. It was the perfect backdrop!
Lauren looked exquisite in her gown that her mother and her found shopping in Barcelona.
We also incorporated spring greens and yellows with touches of dragonflies and butterflies to really give the garden feel. The floral was designed by Robin at Twigg Botanicals.
The yellow and cream Raj tents were one of my favorite things from the evening. Centerpieces also held abundant florals with paper dragonflies and accented with yellow button mums running down the front of the green velvet wrapped vases.
Custom stamped dragonfly boxes tied with green polka dot ribbon, held sees candy ( a family favorite ) and served as favors. Guests left wishes for the couple and pulled custom stamped dragonfly cards from boxes of wheat grass to write on.
Numbers of long strands of white paper butterflies hung from the large overgrown oak tree and floated above the cake that was carefully placed with paper and Swarovski crystal dragonflies.
Strings of light also hung above the dance floor with flowering vines accenting – it was a gorgeous evening!”
