The New & Improved EAD

So… you might have noticed some changes around here! We are so excited to unveil our shiny and sparkly new website.  If you’re reading via RSS, hop over here to see the changes!

The new EAD Home Page is WAY cute:

The next thing you’ll probably notice is our new navigation menu.  It makes it so much easier to move around the EAD site and you won’t ever get lost again.  :)

In addition to the updated site design, we’ve also added some fun new features for you to try out:

The EAD Community
The Community includes both Message Boards and a Bulletin Board.  The Bulletin Board is one of our favorite new pages – using the Post a Bulletin page, all of you are able to post news, announcements, discounts, offers, and other information directly to the Bulletin Board.  The latest bulletins are displayed on the sidebar to the right, and we’ll be featuring the bulletins in EAD blog posts frequently.  Think of the Bulletin Board as a one stop shop for all of the goings-on in the wedding community!

The Message Boards will allow us all to connect and share information, and A. and I will be active participants on the boards.  Please take a second (we promise it’s quick and easy) to go register for the Boards and start posting – we can’t wait to get to know all of you!  The Community Chatter section on the sidebar to the right will keep all of you blog visitors posted on the latest activity.

The EAD Library
We now offer a NEW expanded listing option on the Library allowing vendors to have a dedicated page on the Library with information about themselves and images of their work.  An example can be seen {here}.  Vendors with expanded listings will have a page icon next to their Library listing, making the expanded listing a great option for those vendors looking to differentiate themselves!  If you’re a vendor interested in this new option, Contact Us.

Just a reminder: having a link in the Library is completely free – this allows us to present the most comprehensive wedding vendor resource guide possible.  We have also added an About the Library page, and put links to Featured Content from the EAD Weddings blog on various pages within the Library.

Big HUGE thanks goes to Laura Hooper for working with us to provide all of the adorable images that you see around the site.  I think it’s safe to say we’re in love with them.  We do have a favor to ask of you – pretty please don’t copy or download them to use for yourself – it will make us very sad.

So there you have it, the new and improved EAD.  Let us know what you think!

xoxo,

E. and A.
