I adore winter weddings. There is just something cozy about them, something warm and intimate, something a little elegant. So naturally I am so excited to share images from a beautiful holiday wedding inspiration shoot that Holly Chapple and several other DC-area wedding vendors created!
With the lovely setting of The Stone Manor Country Club to work with, Holly created a gorgeous tablescape, captured by Genevieve Leiper Photography. The centerpieces consisted of white cabbage florets, snowflake mums, white roses, evergreens white gooseneck loosestrife, white mini callas, white narcissus, dusty miller, gold pinecones and twigs.
I love the touch of glitz that gold beaded charges and embroidered linens from Design Cuisine add. A menu tucked into the napkin is always a classic touch. Paperzest created menus and place cards that set off the tablescape perfectly.
The bridal bouquet was created with the perfect wintry mix: white freesia, white mums, mini white callas, narcissus, gold pine cones, gold-painted hypericum berries, white tulips, port orford cedar, white roses, white star of bethlehem and foliages of magnolia and cryptomeria japonica.
Leigh Ann from Hitched Bridal Salon in Georgetown, whose hair and makeup were styled by Victoria Stiles, modeled a dreamy ivory tulle Oscar De La Renta gown. I’m kind of in love with it, aren’t you?
My favorite little detail from the shoot? The Christmas ornament “guest book”!
And no winter wedding is complete without a snow white cake. Kendall’s Cakes created this crystallized sugar delight with accents of miniature ornaments.
