Jenn and Mike’s Montreal wedding has so many special qualities… love, fun, and family history. Jenn says:
Mike and I got married at Loyola Chapel, where my parents were married 30 years and two weeks ago to the day. The chapel was also located on the campus of Concordia University where I earned my journalism/sociology degree.
It was a typical fall day in the Montreal suburbs – a football game was going on across the street, the tree branches still clutched a few remaining leaves while the others, wet and littering the ground like a mosaic carpet, provided the perfect autumn backdrop I had dreamt about for my wedding day.
The talented photography duo of Davina + Daniel captured both stunning portraits and heartfelt moments.
Jenn and Mike’s wedding featured a green apple theme and baked apple spice favors. Cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, and flour were measured and placed into clear cone-shaped bags, tied with a ribbon and recipe!
The reception featured five types of wine bottled by Jenn’s father, fresh green apple centerpieces, and vanilla cupcakes baked by a family friend. Guests took home apples from the centerpieces for the spice mix, and the remainder were donated to a local food bank.
Jenn’s attention to detail is wonderful – I love how all of the elements of the event are tied together with her wedding logo, without it being overwhelming.
Thank you Jenn for sharing your special day with EAD!
