Mmm, another “favorite” wedding from another of my favorite photographers. And this one is just dreamy. When asked about a wedding that best represented 2009, Susan Stripling (whose work is just magical) shared Mindy and Jonathan’s Vermont wedding, held at Riverside Farm.
Mindy’s Alberta Ferretti gown is breathtaking.
Jonathan wore a bespoke suit designed by Lord Willy’s.
Gray and purple is one of my favorite color palettes for men, and the ranunculus bouquet tied with yarn is a perfect compliment to the stitching on the vest and the purple pocket square!
Susan says:
I can’t single out one wedding each year as a favorite but this one really made an impression on me because of Mindy’s style. There was not a single detail of this wedding that she did not style herself, lovingly and with great meaning. It poured rain most of the day but it didn’t deter them at all – everything was just so sweet, so simple, and so just right.
A wedding can never go wrong with clusters of white flowers at the reception. So classic, so elegant. Also notice the detail of the white chair cushions – so unexpected, and it adds a hint of lightness to the table. And naturally, my favorite part of the tablescape is the hanging chandeliers!
Susan, your images always portray grace and elegance. Thank you for sharing Mindy and Jonathan’s wedding with EAD! More images from Mindy and Jonathan’s wedding can be found on Susan Stripling’s blog.
