As 2020 draws to a close and we usher in a new year with its new hopes and goals, there’s guaranteed to be quite a bit of celebrating around the world. And while our celebrations are sure to look different than they usually do, whether it’s a cozy night at home watching the virtual stream of the Times Square ball drop, or counting down over a zoom party with friends, there’s still nothing that marks a celebration more than with a good toast! Champagne or sparkling wine usually take centerstage during these moments, both in weddings and on New Year’s Eve, and there’s really no reason not to break out or break in some new glasses to start making memories now! So whether you’re toasting to a new name or a new year, here are some of our favorite glasses to help ring in the occasion!

It’s Valentine’s Day, and as we all know, Valentine’s is meant to be enjoyed with the one(s) you love, so what better way to celebrate than with a fabulous Galentine’s Day brunch! Emily Elizabeth Events created this adorable “Girl Gang Gathering”, where she and several of her closest friends came together to sip, eat, chat, make Valentine’s Day cards, and create floral arrangements, and this is one party we wish we could attend! Pink and gold stationery from Paper Delights invited each lady to the gathering, where they were greeted with balloons festooning the entrance to Seattle’s Ollie Quinn and the most gorgeous tabletop with florals by Emily Elizabeth Events and dusty pink linens from La Tavola. We’re loving chic and modern details like acrylic standing mirrors, cut-out name place cards, and pink lip cookies, and the romance and elegance of the compote centerpieces, textured fabrics, and vintage trays displaying sips and bites. Galentine’s has never looked so fabulous and we are head over heels for every moment, captured beautifully on film by Blue Rose Photography!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we have been busy planning our tablescapes, dinner menu, and preparing for house guests and travel plans. Although apples and pumpkins may be the first pictures of autumn in your mind, this week we are falling for figs! At their prime, the deep aubergine color of figs is a perfect addition to a fruit and cheese plate and gorgeous adorning everything from cakes to place settings. Unripe figs are a beautiful autumn green color, and are a lovely and unexpected addition to bouquets and centerpieces. Aubergine, gold, ivory, and green is a stunning autumn color palette and these little fruits fit right in—it’s no wonder that figs are our current crush!
