I love every little bit of this Inspired Creations Contest concept, presented by the team of April Foster Events and Megan W Photography. April created a hip and fun dessert buffet and tablescape, using a piece of fabric as her inspiration and throughout her design.
The fabric was applied to elements throughout the concept, from custom fabric matted photos, to pinwheels, to lampshade centerpieces, and to take it even further, the dessert buffet featured the pattern throughout, even on the cake!
April put her crafting hat on, creating custom fabric-covered mats for the framed photos above the dessert table, making chocolate-covered rice cereal treats, and putting together the perfect fabric flower garland to adorn the buffet. She was kind enough to share lots of DIY tutorials with us, so check back later today for those!
Thanks to April’s ingenuity, this entire concept was created for a mere $370. Incredible, no?
A salvaged door was transformed into a quirky and interesting escort card display. The color-matching system at Lowe’s helped April find the perfect paint color to match her fabric. And of course, all of the stationery items coordinated as well. The fabric was scanned and traced into a printable file.
The tablescape featured light blue and sage green tones, and lampshades covered in the inspiration fabric were a unique way to top tall vases.
Love the mojitos in mason jars!
