Latrice Cushenberry from Opulent Couturier Event Styling & Planning is the mastermind behind this gorgeous couture wedding fashion shoot, inspired by a recent Tom Ford 2010 Fall Preview Men’s Collection and a Christian Dior editorial ad. Latrice perfectly captured the beauty of a couture gown, edgy and fashionable accessories, and a tailored tuxedo – mixed with the grunge of Nashville’s Printers Alley! All of the beautiful images are by T2 Photography.
Printers Alley was the perfect setting, with its hanging string lights, abandoned night clubs & colorful marquees. The color palette for the shoot incorporated black and white with pops of red, paired with feathers and a little bling!
The adorable couple, Brandon and Shashray, have been married for six years but did not hire a professional photographer to capture their wedding. This shoot was the perfect way to relive their wedding day, celebrate their love, and spend the afternoon sharing laughs.  Shashray is a model and elementary school educator who loves all things fashion, and Brandon is a seminary student at Vanderbilt University School of Divinity.
Shashray is wearing the gorgeous Sabine gown by Monique Lhullier, from Nashville’s The Bride Room. Latrice paired the romantic gown with edgy accessories – a black feather choker by The Moon Maiden, a black tulle veil from Fascinating Creations, and a feather and rhinestone brooch by Kirsten Kuehn Designs. Latrice created a beautiful red rose bouquet to complete Shashray’s ensemble.
Latrice pulled together two classic groom styles for Brandon. For the first look, a rounded collar tuxedo from Street Tuxedo was paired with a classic bow tie and vest. She then transitioned into a 1980s inspired style with a skinny necktie and suspenders, and a funky feather boutonniere.
I love these images with the backdrop of the distressed hand-painted Johnny Cash mural near the Country Music Hall of Fame.
