Zac and Stacy’s sweet Nashville wedding is special not only because of the bond between the couple, but because they honored the loving relationship that Stacy and her grandfather shared. Reminders of her grandfather were incorporated throughout the wedding, making the event especially precious to Stacy.
All of the beautiful images are courtesy of Ulmer Studios.
Stacy was extremely close with her grandfather, who has sadly passed away. The tattoo on her neck is in remembrance of him, and Stacy also carried a pin that he received for his service during WWII on her bouquet.
As Stacy’s father gave her away, he gave Stacy the a memento. Stacy shares this sweet memory:
“The ring was my grandaddy’s that he obtained in WWII. He received this ring by being in the B52 bombing crew. He was a prisoner and held captive for 18 months and he only brought back 5 things, including this ring. This is the only thing we were passed down from his war experience. I will pass it to my kids and tell them all about the amazing man my grandaddy was.”
