Things I Love: Blackberries

Today is the fourth snow day in two weeks and as pretty as it is outside, I miss grass. I seriously need of a dose of something warm and summery to brighten up my winter blues…which brings me to my next favorite: Blackberries! I love when blackberries are used in floral arrangements. I think they bring a touch of summery rustic and a punch of color and texture to your flowers.

Some pretty bouquets:

**Important note though: If you use truly ripe berries in your bouquet, be very careful not to smush any of them on your dress!**

How’s that for a mega-dose of summer during this snowy season! Yes, I know I cheated a bit…a few of these photos are raspberries instead of blackberries, but you get the idea. These flowers make me want to go berry picking ASAP.

Would you consider using berries in your flowers?
