Things I Love: Metallics

I’m a huge fan of all the shine I’ve been seeing lately! Of course I love glitter and sequins, but right now I’m more inspired by two different metallic details. Up first is foil stamping! Just about any invitation can look fabulous with some foil whether they are modern, elegant, or romantic. It brings in a bit of glam!

I adore the teal and gold combo on these invitations:

I love the mix of silver, gold, and copper foil on these elegant and modern invitations.

The other detail I’m loving is metallic rimmed glassware and dinnerware! So decadent and completely fabulous!

A couple DIY posts for you today on how to make your own metallic “dipped” glassware:

I’m absolutely adding these last two tutorials to my “to make” board on Pinterest! If you’re curious at all about the process of foil stamping at all, check out Nole’s recent post over at Oh So Beautiful Paper on how it is done!

So what do you think? Do you like the foil details or do you think that metallics belong only on your ring finger?
