There’s no better way to infuse personality into your wedding than by using your favorite bright, vivid colors! Cobalt is one of my favorite hues – it’s strong and modern, and blue pairs so well with almost every shade of the rainbow. Add a dash of fuchsia and you have a palette perfect for a playful, feisty couple!
We love palettes that incorporate vivid colors in an elegant way, and today’s dreamy inspiration board does just that. With a beautiful mix of delicate blush, pale robin’s egg blue, and gold, we go from pale to colorful with the additions of vibrant magenta, rose petal pink, and cobalt. A small dose of garnet and a dash of navy keeps things anchored, and the end result is a wedding color palette that is perfect for all seasons!
Teal is one of my most-loved wedding colors (witness: this, this, this, and this) and today’s teal and berry is sophisticated and glamorous. A heavy dose of sparkle, romantic florals, and billowing fabric makes this inspiration board one of my new favorites!
Oh so romantic and beautiful, wisteria is one of my favorite hues, and it couldn’t be more gorgeous paired with a delicate ballet pink and dusty blue. This palette would be lovely for a winter soiree (with crisp snow? Be still my heart!), a spring fete (in a modern whitewashed loft?) or as a sultry summer choice (on the beach?).
I don’t know about you, but one of the things I love the most about summer is all of the amazing colors. From the teal waters of summer vacation to lush blooms in shades of blue, green, and purple, the world is awash with all of the colors of the rainbow. What better way to celebrate the season than with a palette of fresh hues—shades from lavender to mauve, mint to emerald, and aqua to teal!
Spring is coming! And nothing could be more in the mood than a bright pastel inspiration board! I just love the pops of vivid yellow with the pastel blue and pink—this is a lighthearted palette that’s perfectly romantic and sweet.
There’s nothing more fun and punchy than a party palette of pink and teal! Full of confetti, fringe, sequins, and sparkle, this inspiration board pairs the sweetest shade of strawberry with a deep teal to produce a positively fun and whimsical color combo that’s perfect for a modern summer wedding. Everything about this just screams celebration!
I’m so excited about the return of glitz and glamour in weddings – give me some sparkle! But glamorous weddings don’t have to be candelabra, flowing linens and crystals – it’s easy to have a modern, colorful, and fresh wedding that’s as glitzy as they come. Pull in gold metallics and quartz, add some deep teal, and throw in little pops of pink and coral and voila! Modern, glamorous and perfect for your favorite urban venue!
Morning everyone! Earlier this week, this adorable vow renewal was published on Style Me Pretty and I was instantly inspired by the feminine and sweet color combination of tiffany blue and baby pink. Classic and timeless, this palette is for the romantic at heart and would be perfect for a wedding brunch or bridal shower!
Welcome to another color week on EAD! This week is all about sweet, romantic, and fun sherbet! Sherbet is one of those colors that can take many personalities, and I thought I’d show its girly side in this week’s first inspiration board – sherbet, yellow, and teal. Dainty and uber-feminine, this board imagines a wedding full of fluffy blooms, sweet lace, and clear metallics. Check back all week for color palettes, floral, bridesmaids ideas and more – all showcasing ways to incorporate sherbet into your wedding!
Kirsten and her fiance are getting married in Colonial Williamsburg this fall. She wrote in with the idea of blues and golds and antique-y pink – an elegant vibe, but also cozy and welcoming and warm. I pulled together a board that I think is just the right amount of classic, with some homespun elements thrown in. A little bit cobblestone streets, a little bit fluffy and romantic.
Welcome to a world where love intertwines with elegance, and time seems to stand still. In the charming enclave of Cape Charles, a bride and groom embarked on a journey of eternal love, exchanging vows on the grounds of her cherished family home. Against the backdrop of serene waters, their ceremony was graced with the vibrant hues of colorful flowers, creating a tableau of beauty and romance.
Nothing says elegance quite like a classic wedding in Connecticut, and Deirdre and Mike’s big day was no exception. With not one, but two ceremonies (because two is always better than one, right?), this couple knew how to make sure their guests were entertained. The attention to detail was unmistakable from the gorgeous floral arrangements to Deirdre’s stunning gown that flowed effortlessly like the bride herself. But don’t let the elegance fool you, this wedding was far from stuffy. The reception was full of dancing, laughter, and all the quirky touches that make a wedding truly memorable. Congrats to the happy couple, and cheers to a lifetime of effortless love!
Lucy and Michael met while in the peace corps and have made long distance and a crazy lifestyle work ever since. This wedding day was one of the most amazing weddings I’ve ever been a part of. The style reminded me of an elegant French bistro. The florals and the decor were so perfectly matched. Lucy’s wedding gown gave me elegant French boho vibes. The day was full of love and laughter and it is PERFECTLY displayed in these photos!
Sarah and Scott originally had a large celebration planned, but like many other brides, COVID changed that. In a cautious manner they decided to move forward with their wedding with just their 12 closest family and friends. Despite the small guest count, the design aspect was large. Their outdoor ceremony took place surrounded by banyan trees under the most stunning Chuppah. Reception was followed with the most divine tent with flowing florals and hints of citrus.
Sarah & Benjamin wanted guests to feel like they were entering a magical world when they arrived at their wedding and the day was full of awe-inspiring details which made that vision a reality. From getting married at the castle-like Wonderland Cluj Resort, to the horse-drawn carriage fit for royalty, to the show-stopping, jaw-droppingly lush, floor-to-ceiling florals by Elena Bodea – Las Floristas that filled both the ceremony and reception, guests were transported into a fairy tale for the day. Add to that that these two look like they walked out of a magazine themselves, and this may be one of the most dreamy weddings ever! The gallery is full of more incredible photos by Ioana Porav Photography, from the stunning rose petal seals on the stationery by Invogue Art, to Sarah’s romantic Milla Nova wedding gown (a nod to her Hispanic roots), to even more photos of their unbelievable florals, and trust us, you absolutely want to see them all!
Ellie and Drew traveled from Texas to the beautiful Capen House on Lake Osceola for an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. Pixies and Petals ran with Ellie’s vision of a Lilly Pulitzer-inspired English garden with florals in vibrant shades of peach, raspberry, coral, and fuchsia and created a lush pink garden wonderland in the ceremony and reception space. Along with stunning florals, their day featured 3 different musicians, an epic grazing table, and even a few fun pranks! These photos by Kristen Weaver Photography are guaranteed to brighten your day so be sure to check them all out and read more about the amazing details of their wedding in Ellie’s own words below!
Audrey and David had the absolute privilege at marrying at a beautiful French chateau and with the smiles on both of their faces in various photos from Romain Vaucher, their day was beyond joyful and seeped out everywhere. After a proposal in Japan, the two found Chateau de Razay to call their wedding venue. Japan is near and dear to them, so they wanted to bring the colors of a Japanese spring to their wedding, using white and green with blush pink peppered across their decor. Their ceremony was steeped in Madagascan traditions in homage to David’s heritage. The groomsmen wore Malagasy hats and the service was conducted under the Madagascan church. For motif, we love they went simple with their colors; a chateau almost never needs any excessive decor and allowing the chateau’s present decor shine like Audrey and David did will create such a memorable experience.
Let’s all take a moment (or two) out of our day to check out this bliss-inducing Janita Mestre wedding. It’s delightfully in the desert, so of course you’re going to spot a few cacti at Galway Downs, but you’re going to see such a dreamy color palette too. Being so close to Valentine’s Day, Stephanie and Alex wanted to evoke love all throughout, so they picked pink as their go-to hue. Big and bright blush and ivory florals by Events by Floral Sensations complemented the eye-catching David’s Bridal mauve bridesmaids’ dresses, and we loved this idea, too. Instead of continuing the soft tones everywhere, shake up the colors like Stephanie and Alex and throw a deep hue in the same color family somewhere that will be seen. Adding it to the bridesmaids’ dresses was a clever touch without overwhelming the couple’s desire to have an airy feel to their wedding day.
