Happy St. Patrick’s eve everyone! Today we’re celebrating with an ode to green! Beautifully neutral and natural, there are several flowers that come in various shades and textures of green: hydrangea, orchids, mums, tulips, roses, and bells of Ireland to name a few. Here are some of my favorites!
The styled shoot we have for you today was inspired by the feeling of being completely and utterly lovestruck. You know – that passionate, heart-stopping, fallen-hard kind of love. Using a palette of rich fuchsia, magenta, and vibrant pinks, Julie Liles Floral & Event Design dotted roses, tulips and calla lilies with crystals and arranged them among sparkling candles and lanterns. How fabulous are the custom headpieces by Petals by KC and the glittered favor boxes? Then there’s the stunning ombre cake by Frosted Bliss Cakes and the adorable sparkling cake pops by Raleigh Cake Pops too! So many fabulous details in these incredible photos by Live View Studios. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
The moment we set our eyes on this positively glamorous white and gold tabletop, we fell in love! We couldn’t stop ourselves from swooning over every single detail—from the stunning orchid centerpiece by The Garden Gate to the beaded gold plates, shimmering glassware, and monogrammed linens. Styled by DFW Events Event Planning & Design, along with Gatsby Event Branding, the tables at Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas glow with an ethereal light set off by candles in mercury glass. Feast your eyes on the gorgeous images by Perez Photography from this incredible shoot that left us saying, “Oh! So pretty!” at every turn.
This gorgeous styled shoot has it all: an absolutely stunning gown from Carine’s Bridal Atelier, Valentino d’Orsay pumps, and the simply breathtaking setting of Keswick Hall at Monticello near Charlottesville, Virginia. The rolling green hills provide a lush backdrop for bold pink and green blooms in bouquets and centerpieces created by Pat’s Floral Designs. We are head over heels for the classic Southern charm that Just a Little Ditty created in this beautiful setting, and the gorgeous images from Jen Fariello Photography!
I’m positively giddy about sharing some gorgeous St Patrick’s Day inspired weddings with you today! Kelly green, kilts, and tartan galore, these weddings highlight some of my favorite Celtic-inspired details. Each one is absolutely beautiful so be sure to click through to see the full event!
It’s no wonder that classic style rules the day at Meghan and Aaron’s Chautauqua, New York, affair–after all, the wedding was held at The Hall of Philosophy at Chautauqua Institution, an education center and summer resort where Meghan’s family goes back generations. To set the tone for their day, the couple sent out vintage-style stationery designed by the groom, Aaron Fetter. Following the outdoor ceremony, where bridesmaids wore short pink Jenny Yoo Collection dresses that sweetly coordinated with hydrangea bouquets by Francesca’s Floral Design, guests headed to the resort’s Athenaeum Hotel for a laid-back reception that included a buttercream cake from The Cakery, plenty of dancing, and the release of paper sky lanterns, which lit up much the way Meghan did in her Watters gown! We love these images from Hunter Photographic and can’t get enough of all of the beautiful details waiting for you in the gallery!
Ronda and Jeff’s gorgeous Nashville wedding is the epitome of Southern chic! These two are completely in love—there’s not a single image from Kristyn Hogan where the two aren’t beaming! Sara Fried of Fete Nashville Events & Design helped Ronda and Jeff create the perfect day filled with Southern touches like monograms and lush hydrangeas. The white, purple, and green florals dotted throughout were created by The Enchanted Florist, and they absolutely set the scene for the day. After Ronda and Jeff’s ceremony at Scarritt Bennett, they joined guests for an outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. We adore the attire of the day, first with the sand-colored bridesmaids dresses by Dessy and classic tuxes for the men, and then Ronda’s breathtaking custom Vera Wang gown. Before a dramatic send-off down the symphony hall steps with sparklers, Ronda and Jeff cut their Dulce Desserts cake, an extra-tall confection accented with more hydrangea blooms. Everything about this affair is simply flawless—see even more in the gallery!
Whitney and Adam’s elegant rehearsal dinner in Scottsdale, Arizona is such a fresh take on Southwestern style. The Silverleaf is a gorgeous location, with its clay tile roof, brick floor patio, stone walls, and stone firepit for taking in the sunset—just what you’d expect from Scottsdale—but inside the decor is more traditional, and absolutely breathtaking! Every detail is flawless thanks to Victoria Canada Wedding & Events, who pulled together all of the amazing details: ecru linens, classic place and menu cards, and lush green and cream arrangements created by Petal Pusher. We’re enamored with the desert lighting and stunning backdrop of this special dinner, captured beautifully by Melissa Schollaert Photography! See all of the gorgeousness right here!
Janice and Joe’s sweet wedding is brimming with elegant sophistication, and it’s due in large part to the neutral creams and blush tones found in all the details. The ornate Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills is a beautiful modern backdrop for Janice’s intricate corset-style gown. Bridesmaids in different dresses in cream to blush tones further the monochromatic color scheme—such a romantic look! The always phenomenal Sloan Photographers documented the day from ceremony to the reception at LA’s Skirball Cultural Center, where cascading floral arrangements of white hydrangeas, blush roses, and white orchids by Dana Lee of AtelierFlower dotted the tables. Lovely couple, lovely affair!
Marie and Tim’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island, Florida, combines the beauty of the beach with the understated elegance only a venue like the The Ritz-Carlton can provide! Dressed in a sweetheart gown with crystal brooch detail, Marie married Tim with views of the ocean as their ceremony backdrop — that, and a gorgeous floral arbor popping with pink and white blooms! We adore the cowl-neck mauve dresses that bridesmaids donned, as well as the round rose and ranunculus bouquets they carried. Photographer Brooke Images has dazzled us with the gorgeous images she captured of the reception, including a classic white cake trimmed in pink lace! See all of the beach-chic details in the gallery!
Photographer Caroline Tran calls this Saddlerock Ranch inspiration shoot—complete with a dreamy tabletop covered in driftwood, protea and colored glass—”easily one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever shot.” It’s no wonder this Malibu, California shoot is one of our favorites of the year! Caroline teamed up with Utterly Engaged magazine and So Happi Together to craft this uber-creative shoot, which was also part of one of the photographer’s recent workshops. We’ve fallen for the eclectic, mismatched vintage seating surrounding the long farmhouse table, provided by Found Vintage Rentals, and the ruffled ombre cake by A Wish and A Whisk. Oh, and the zebras! Who could resist wedding inspiration that comes with zebras?!
Ahhh. This styled shoot is frothy and girly and just a breath of fresh air—which is great, because we’re left nearly breathless by the gorgeous styling from Maine Seasons Events and the stunning blooms from Floral Fauna. Turquoise milk glass, gold, and tons of pink work together to create the fabulous tabletop decor. And those custom ruffled swags on the tables? We’re in love! The simple texture of the cake from Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott shimmers thanks to exquisite gold detailing, and we adore the letterpress stationery by Gus & Ruby Letterpress and hand-calligraphed by Neither Snow. The models’ gowns from LulaKate look like dresses straight out of a fairy tale—which pretty much sums up why this shoot is one of our favorites of the year! We hope these oh-so-pretty images from Corbin Gurkin Photography make your day like they made ours!
Today’s styled shoot from Justin & Mary pulls inspiration from the landscape and water surrounding Elihu Island near Stonington, Connecticut. Hana Floral Design and Boutique used natural elements like wildflowers and mixed them with more classic blue and cream arrangements to create a rustic but elegant look. We love the casual brown paper mixed with sweet blue ribbon on stationery from Chocolate Creative Design! The Union Baptist Church grounds are a pastoral backdrop for the model’s gown and the bright blue bridesmaids dresses from The Wedding Embassy—and how about that fur stole! We love how these images strike the perfect balance of sophisticated style in a casual country location.
Tory Williams Photography shot the images of this Southwestern-inspired set-up in a wooded area of the Bedford Post Inn in New York. Using authentic clay pots brought back from Santa Fe, Bess of Celadon & Celery Events styled the tablescape, adding orange-red orchids, turquoise accents, and plenty of rustic elements like antlers and feathers. The models are radiant in the afternoon sunlight—and though the New Mexico feel of the photos is casual and not formal, it’s still fun to see the bride’s playful blue shoes peeking out from beneath a dressy gown. We absolutely love the take on the theme with the cake from Sugar Flower Cake Shop—so different and pretty. We’re definitely taking notes from this one!
The stunning L’Auberge Del Mar is the backdrop for Megan and Chad’s chic California beachfront wedding. Equal parts casual and sophisticated, the couple echoed the natural beauty of the resort with their earthy blue and green color palette. Jennifer Cole Florals did a phenomenal job with the florals, including blue and green hydrangea, orchids, and thistle nestled among dried grape vine as the main centerpieces at the reception, which featured tables named after their favorite vacation destinations, complete with their passport stamp pictures! We are head over heels for these beautiful images from Joielala!
There are no words to truly express how head-over-heels we are with Julie and Sam’s wedding. Not only does it have the most gorgeous color palette, but the florals by Chestnut & Vine are also nothing short of phenomenal. White clematis, astilbe, raspberries, succulents, dahlias, and among several others, orchids? Amazing. Watercolor stationery and hand painted signs by Julie Song Ink? Melt. Colorful hanging cranes? Stop it. All of this and a beautiful couple who absolutely beam with adoration for each other? We’ll be swooning over this wedding for quite a while! Bravo to the incredible team of vendors who put it together and to the incomparable Jose Villa for capturing these stunning images!
There is no better setting for a vintage Hollywood-inspired wedding than the gorgeous Villa Del Sol. Flor and Chris chose the historic downtown Fullerton site to celebrate their wedding with friends and family and it was the perfect venue to bring their vintage glam vision to life. Flor and her bridesmaids have incredible style and we’re swooning over their gorgeous dresses and accessories. The gold, blush, silver and ivory color palette is so chic, and we are crazy about the beautiful florals by The Blooming Branch. Their whole day was completely elegant, utterly glamorous, and simply gorgeous, and we adore these photos by Candice Benjamin Photography!
Gabrielle and Chris wanted to get married somewhere that felt enchanted and once they saw the natural beauty and elegance of Meadowood Napa Valley they knew it was the right place! Their outdoor ceremony was held in front of a marvelous birch altar adorned with hanging sweet pea and although they did not have a bridal party, their adorable puppy, Lola, acted as their ring bearer. The flowers by Cherries Flowers are the epitome of natural elegance and included garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, jasmine, and astilbe. I’m absolutely in love with their unique escort cards: a sparkling display of natural crystals and gemstones wrapped in copper wire and set upon a bed of moss. Each table had an explanation of the spiritual meaning of its stone, the head table being Amethyst which symbolized “pure and true emotional love.” Enjoy these incredible photos by the amazing Gia Canali!
