Intimate Vineyard Wedding

We are simply dazzled by Devin and Ryan’s gorgeous Napa Valley wedding, held at a lush private estate in the heart of wine country! Lush spring blooms, olive branches, and details in lovely peach and green hues make this affair classic and pretty, all thanks to the expertise of Napa Valley Custom Events by Sharon Burns. Even the invitations from Foglio Press incorporate the olive leaf theme. Devin’s romantic strapless gown and filmy peach bridesmaids dresses are lovely at the outdoor ceremony, which was also punctuated with peonies and other exotic blooms from Julie Stevens Design. These images from Julie Kay Kelly Photography are just brimming with beautiful details, and we love them all!

There is no better setting for a vintage Hollywood-inspired wedding than the gorgeous Villa Del Sol. Flor and Chris chose the historic downtown Fullerton site to celebrate their wedding with friends and family and it was the perfect venue to bring their vintage glam vision to life. Flor and her bridesmaids have incredible style and we’re swooning over their gorgeous dresses and accessories. The gold, blush, silver and ivory color palette is so chic, and we are crazy about the beautiful florals by The Blooming Branch. Their whole day was completely elegant, utterly glamorous, and simply gorgeous, and we adore these photos by Candice Benjamin Photography!

Let’s all take a moment (or two) out of our day to check out this bliss-inducing Janita Mestre wedding. It’s delightfully in the desert, so of course you’re going to spot a few cacti at Galway Downs, but you’re going to see such a dreamy color palette too. Being so close to Valentine’s Day, Stephanie and Alex wanted to evoke love all throughout, so they picked pink as their go-to hue. Big and bright blush and ivory florals by Events by Floral Sensations complemented the eye-catching David’s Bridal mauve bridesmaids’ dresses, and we loved this idea, too. Instead of continuing the soft tones everywhere, shake up the colors like Stephanie and Alex and throw a deep hue in the same color family somewhere that will be seen. Adding it to the bridesmaids’ dresses was a clever touch without overwhelming the couple’s desire to have an airy feel to their wedding day.

Claire and Will’s breathtaking St. Helena wedding is such a fresh and classic affair to start the new year! Lush rose, hydrangea and orchid blooms in shades of cream and white from Paul Stokey of Tesoro set the stage for an elegant outdoor ceremony at Meadowood Napa Valley. Soft, one-shoulder bridesmaids dresses by Joanna August from Bella Bridesmaid are subtle but gorgeous, especially next to Claire’s lace cap-sleeve Romona Keveza Collection gown! We adore the sweet silver sparkle of her Jimmy Choo heels as well. These stunning images from Megan Clouse catch all the highlights, from timeless stationery by Write Selection to the filmy elegance of Claire’s veil from Neiman Marcus and the simple cake by Perfect Endings, festooned with fresh floral garlands. We’re swooning over all of these romantic details!

What a picture-perfect Los Angeles wedding Lynn and Steve had! We’d never guess this pretty pink and white affair is set in the heart of LA, with soft blooms from Stems Florist festooning the setting at Maguire Gardens, where the ceremony was held, and Cafe Pinot, site of the reception! Our friends at Minted contributed elegant stationery, and Caroline of Serenity Events helped Lynn and Steve coordinate the day of the wedding. Bridesmaids wore short light pink dresses from J.Crew, the perfect complement to Lynn’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. And we can’t leave out Steve, handsome in a Black by Vera Wang suit! We love the mod look of Lynn’s silver snakeskin Jimmy Choo heels, too. The outdoor soiree offered plenty of great natural light for Esther Sun to photograph it perfectly. We hear at the end of the night, Lynn and Steve surprised guests with a visit from the In-N-Out Burger Cookout Trailer—a delicious finish to the flawless event! See it all in the gallery!

Caley and Alex’s Arizona wedding is so stunning, we almost can’t decide where to start! The beautiful outdoor setting of L’Auberge de Sedona is postcard-worthy. Caley and Alex exchanged their vows outdoors near a mountain stream beneath towering trees, with Caley in an intricate Marchesa gown that we’re drooling over. Silvery blue bridesmaids dresses by Lela Rose are a shimmery touch that complements the surrounding nature. To complement the gorgeous green foliage, Events by Show Stoppers kept the reception flowers soft, with cream, green, and pale pink arrangements. A classic wedding cake, warm wood tables, string lights, and linen table runners complete the charming setting. These images from Sloan Photographers are so gorgeous—get inspired in the gallery!

When she pictured her wedding with Eric, Jodi envisioned rustic elegance—a blend of wood, lace and a touch of sparkle that would make a lasting impression on their guests. With Southern California’s elegant Walnut Grove ranch as their backdrop, the couple took on a multitude of do-it-yourself endeavors, as well as spent hours scouring Etsy for the perfect invitations, programs and favors. “I poured my heart into every little detail, and it ended up just how I had imagined it.,” the bride says. We’re head-over-heels for every detail ourselves, from the wooden centerpiece boxes etched with the couple’s initials to the pastel blooms that florist Regina Robertson arranged in each box. And those cakes! This couple had not one but three incredible, delectable whipped creations from Cindy Harber. We can only imagine they were as delicious as they look!

There is something so effortlessly elegant about Laurie and Michael’s sun-washed wedding on the grounds of the gorgeous The Villa of San Juan Capistrano. Could that be because the bride is a Newport Beach, California interior designer?! Laurie put her skills to work for her wedding, envisioning a vibrant, French-inspired affair complete with the happiest floral arrangements by Floral Occasions. From casually color-coordinated bridesmaids dresses to burlap-wrapped water bottles, we’re in love with every single detail that Troy Grover Photographers captured!

File Kelly and Trevor’s Sonoma, California, wedding under “Exactly What to Do,” because it doesn’t get much better than this! A sophisticated celebration at Cline Cellars captured the essence of what the couple envisioned—one big, fun party for their friends and family. Understated Champagne-colored bridesmaids dresses allowed Kelly’s Ines Di Santo gown to take center stage beneath a canopy of trees at the outdoor ceremony. Pale peach, pink, and ivory bouquets and centerpieces by Violetta sit pretty against a rustic setting that included plenty of vineyard greenery and wine barrels. We can never get enough of creative, personalized details, like monogrammed Mr. and Mrs. chair covers, a whimsical bride-and-groom bird topper on the confection from Forget-Me-Not-Cakes, and—oh!—that fabulous vintage getaway car. An elegant, intimate, natural, and absolutely perfect event, Erica and Brian travelled from Kansas to Napa for their wedding with only eight guests. I’m blown away by the effortless style and sophistication of their entire event at Meadowood from the gorgeous scenery to Erica’s J. Crew gown to the natural dogwood and hydrangea centerpieces by Kate Stanley. Members of the intimate guest list dined together at one table, sharing delicious wine and food from the venue. Every single detail of this wedding is absolute perfection and I’m in love with these photos by Megan Holly Clouse!

Lauren and Matt’s wedding was classic and elegant with some wonderful Southern details. Gorgeous magnolia leaves were used not only in the floral arrangements but also in the large garland they created which hung over the main doors to the church! I can’t believe that Lauren, her mom, and grandmother created all the florals – a beautiful blend of hydrangea, hypericum berries and roses (I guess it helps that her mother is a florist!). Aren’t the tall magnolia centerpieces incredible? Lauren and Matt had a beautiful wedding, captured just as beautifully by Elizabeth Scott Photography!

Lily and Bobby were married at the gorgeous Santaluz Club in San Diego. The venue provided lots of inspiration for them and their wedding planner, Thomas Bui, created a beautiful and romantic event with just a pinch of rustic thrown in. Any event that incorporates big fluffy peonies and succulents is for sure to be something I love and the florals by Adorations Botanical Artistry certainly did not disappoint. These photos by Vallentyne Photography are gorgeous and yet again make me long for my own California wedding!

Gina and Joe’s story begins like so many others in this generation: via a dating app and an awkward first date. Despite the fact Joe was not a Francophile and “avoided all of the French words” at the French restaurant they ate at, the pair met up again and the rest was history. Before they knew it, they were planning a wedding in Temecula’s wine country with Ashley Bee Photography documenting their day. Purple was common favorite color between the two of them, yet they wanted to break up the hues with various shades. Mauve, gold, and the deep brown wood interior at Wiens Family Cellar created a classic and rustic feel. Gina and Joe are fond of the outdoors, yet due to the weather and the season, they opted to stay warm and cozy inside. Despite this, they wanted to extract those aspects of the outdoors they love and add them into their indoor venue. Long, wooden tables mostly exposed with Sweet Flowers’ wildflower-esque creations gave this nature-loving couple exactly the motif they wanted, and it’s a treat for us all too!

Janine and Mike chose Woodbridge Township’s stunning Ariana’s Grand for their reception venue, and the venue was perfect for their clean and ethereal wedding vision! To keep their wedding timeless, Flowers by Bernard filled their reception with swaths of greenery and mixed metals, accented by succulents and acrylic elements for a modern touch. Janine’s late grandmother was named Rosalie, and they honored her by sprinkling roses throughout the arrangements. We love this absolutely classic féte hailing from an illustrious museum in our nation’s capital today. This Washington DC wedding was photographed by one of our favorites, Lisa Blume, and it is elegant and so special and timeless. According to Kelly, she couldn’t take her mind off of the National Museum of Women in the Arts’s design and sweetly, how she could picture traipsing down the staircase to meet her dear dad at the bottom to walk her down the aisle to her beau Jamie (tears!). Speaking of tears, we had to mention this touching detail. Kelly needed to have her grandmothers there in some way, so to commemorate these wonderful women in her life, she shipped in two paintings from North Carolina of them and had her grandmother’s tea cup in her bridal suite. Endearingly, the teacup was a gift her grandmother gave to her sister for her wedding.

One gaze at this wedding and it would be hard to imagine that Leah and Andy wanted a laid-back fête to reflect their easygoing selves because their wedding is dripping with classic elements. To say the least, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is an old world vision that Renee Lemaire Photography certainly captured at the Porter’s big day. Every aspect of the grounds exudes romance and the whole place looks like it was plucked out of a fairytale. Leah recalls going to Stan Hywet often as a little girl, so she knew it was THE place and after showing Andy, they were both hooked and began dreaming up their wedding. Their September wedding day consisted of a delicate cream and ivory palette with dabs of blush, expert florals by The Budding Tree, and ending the night twirling away underneath the trees and the stars.

Though the setting may be in Southern California, the Villa Del Sol D’Oro transports us to Tuscany with its romantic European estate feel. Sweetest Love Events designed an elegant outdoor soiree with a beautiful mix of vintage elements and muted tones. Sibyl Sophia Floral Design created a showstopping bouquet and pastel garden-style arrangements for the alfresco reception and sweetheart tables, whose buttery tones echoed the villa’s graceful exterior. The stylish couple embraced the glamour with a sophisticated pale dove gray Willowby by Watters gown from Mary Me Bridal and classic tuxedo from The Black Tux . Ansley and Cory dreamed of a whimsical garden wedding, and their hopes were realized with the selection of Newnan, Georgia’s spectacular Dunaway Gardens as their venue. The ivy-covered amphitheater provides the most unique ceremony locale—the perfect pairing of a secret garden nestled amongst the trees and a tiered ceremony in the round! The couple worked with Chancey Charm to design their late summer soiree, with a warm color palette of gray, yellow, maroon, and pops of vivid red. Logan Woods created colorful bouquets of protea, chrysanthemum, tulips, and garden roses and decorated the reception tent with whimsical basket chandeliers and loose garden-style arrangements. Ansley is the epitome of the classic bride in a Lian Carlo gown from Kelly’s Closet, while her maids donned the Aiden dress by Jenny Yoo. We’re transported to a whimsical wonderland with these images from Amy Arrington Photography!

Dominique and Blake’s vision for their Scottsdale wedding was pure romance, and working alongside Jennifer Ellis of White House Design Studio, their ideas transformed into reality. The couple, dating since their sophomore year of college, were joined at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia by family and friends who had watched their love blossom over the years. A vivid color palette of berry, wine, and ivory was selected to enhance the beauty of their desert setting, and White House Design Studio created arrangements overflowing with orchid, hydrangea, and magnolia leaves to festoon the ceremony arch and adorn the luxurious reception tables. In lieu of traditional place cards, guests received hand-calligraphed notes in ivory ribbon-wrapped boxes, the notes serving as a warm thank you from the couple for joining them to celebrate their special day.
