Romantic + Sweet Country Club Wedding

We love the location of Kristy and Harnnull’s California wedding—tucked away in the gardens of Cafe Pinot in the heart of downtown LA! The couple carried the floral theme over into their invitations from It’s Amore Design + Letterpress and even used nature-inspired recipe cards for a guest book. Adrienne Gunde Photography captured the day of laid-back elegance for the couple, who had Bunch Studio and Sassy Girl Weddings & Events collaborate for chic, loose pink and green florals and reception decor that looks so pretty in the afternoon light. Warm and elegant, Euri and John’s wedding at Pasadena’s The Athenaeum is pure romance!  Euri chose one of our favorite color palettes – soft ivory and peach, dusty pink, and pale gray -  and mixed in beautiful mercury glass containers and luxe gold linens on the gorgeous tabletops created by Lindy at Commerce Flowers.  Euri is a positively stunning bride in her custom lace gown from Monaco Bridal (that floaty skirt, I die!), and we are head-over-heels in love with the fabulous images from one of our favorites, Erin Hearts Court!

Beachside weddings in Santa Monica simply guarantee gorgeousness, and Pauline and Richard’s wedding at Shutters on the Beach doesn’t disappoint. We’re loving the juxtaposition of sophisticated ceremony images with casual beach portraits from Connie Lyu Photography. Pauline is a glowing bride in a lace mermaid-style gown, and we love the crispness of the water blue bridesmaids dresses. Touches of lace and pastel pink accent this entire dreamy affair. There are no words to truly express how head-over-heels we are with Julie and Sam’s wedding. Not only does it have the most gorgeous color palette, but the florals by Chestnut & Vine are also nothing short of phenomenal. White clematis, astilbe, raspberries, succulents, dahlias, and among several others, orchids? Amazing. Watercolor stationery and hand painted signs by Julie Song Ink? Melt. Colorful hanging cranes? Stop it. All of this and a beautiful couple who absolutely beam with adoration for each other? We’ll be swooning over this wedding for quite a while! Bravo to the incredible team of vendors who put it together and to the incomparable Jose Villa for capturing these stunning images!

If Diana and Danny’s everyday lives are even half as chic as their Southern California wedding, they’re definitely some of the most stylish people ever! This beautiful couple was married at the Cravens Estate in Pasadena surrounded by friends and family from all over. There are many details about their wedding that I love (like Diana’s amazing shoes and accessories) but once I saw their colorful florals I was smitten! Rooted Harmony blended rich textures and colors to create bright and elegant arrangements that include peonies, roses, wax flower, astilbe, eucalyptus, and even succulents! Warm, soft, and overflowing with flowers – this gorgeous Palos Verdes Estates wedding from Meg Perotti had me at hello.  Held at the beautiful La Venta Inn, which boasts a phenomenal 180 degree view of the California coast, Lauren and David’s charming event features a color palette perfect for all seasons: plum, pale pink, magenta, lavender, green, and gray.  Events by Heather Ham worked with florist Peony & Plum to design a casually elegant event, including a stunning ceremony arch with cascading flowers befitting the backdrop of the coast, and soft, natural centerpieces of lisianthus, tulips, ranunculus, sweet peas, anemones, irises and eucalyptus.  I love everything down to the smallest touch, especially all of the calligraphy details!

The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills was the perfect venue for Julie and Jonathan’s dream wedding! With the help of their wedding planner, Catherine of CCL Weddings, the couple designed a private outdoor ceremony (featuring the couple’s adorable pup, Nala) and elegant indoor reception with lush and romantic florals by Heavenly Blooms. Luxury and personality came together perfectly, with champagne escort cards that doubled as favors and a cocktail hour snack of beef jerky, the groom’s favorite! We are obsessed with every fun detail in the beautiful images from Closer to Love Photography!

There’s so much style and whimsy pouring out of every single moment of Megan and Bobby’s wedding! The couple selected a private estate in Santa Barbara as their venue, which the homeowner has aptly named “Villa della Famiglia”, and the unique, family-oriented charm was carried through in the decor, which was a colorful extension of the Italian villa feel. Megan designed the day to be a reflection of them as a couple: intimate, fun, and full of so much love. Her vision for the flowers was “bright, beautiful, and free-spirited” and Jenn Sanchez Design delivered in spades! From lush coral peonies to purple alliums, the colorful blooms lit up the tables on the estate’s grounds and paired beautifully with the intermixed fresh fruits. Megan hand-painted all of the signage and along with one of her bridesmaids, Rachel, all of the votive holders, as well as creating the honey jar favors. Not a detail was left unfinished, right down to the on-trend naked cake from Frost It Cupcakery! When asked about the day, there was no doubt that sharing their vows and emptying their hearts to each other surrounded by their dearest family and friends was the most unforgettable moment, followed closely by walking down the aisle to “Your Hand in Mind” by Explosions in the Sky, which reminded them of peaceful moments together stargazing. Natives of Los Angeles, Michelle and Miguel wanted a spot for their wedding that didn’t feel like typical LA. The Legendary Park Plaza Hotel was the perfect venue for that, with its dramatic staircases, ceilings, and windows. The Dainty Lion helped Michelle and Miguel plan a celebration that was uniquely theirs, which included lush peony bouquets, baby’s breath topiaries, and pretty blooms in glass vases along tables peppered with gold sequin linens. Bridesmaids in taupe dresses were elegant, especially standing next to Michelle in a lace and tulle Pronovias gown from Bellasposa. We love Michelle’s blue Badgley Mischka shoes with sparkling brooches! Romantic touches such as floral stationery from Wedding Paper Divas and feather accents on place settings matches the drama of the location! A dessert table at the reception featured macaroons from Sweet and Saucy Shop, topped off with a cake designed by Hotcakes Bakes. Sara and Chris’s romantic garden wedding at Hartley Botanica simply has us swooning! For starters, Sara’s White by Vera Wang gown–in a soft and sweet shade of pink–is nothing short of amazing! And with a backdrop like that, pastel roses in more shades of pink and lavender are a must; we adore the lush bouquet by Belle of the Ball Designs that Sara carried! Whimsical floral stationery from Minted further grounded the theme of this affair, where Sara and Chris took their vows beneath a canopy of curly branches, twinkling lights, and a jaw-dropping chandelier covered in lush blooms. Liz and Jason’s elegant wedding completely eschews a modernist LA vibe for pretty pastels and soft touches that shine in these images from Christine Farah Photography! We’re enamored with the airy layers of Liz’s bridal gown, paired with delicate pearl jewelry and a romantic updo. Soft pink bridesmaids dresses set the tone for flowers in the same color family by Milieu Florals. With CCL Weddings and Events onboard to lead the planning and design, Liz and Jason created the perfect day for them and their friends and family. Following the ceremony at Los Angeles Full Gospel Church, the lovely Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at The Music Center played host to the reception. There, the couple took part in a tea ceremony to pay homage to their heritage. Pink chevron and vintage touches created a fairytale space for dinner, dancing, and a luscious dessert from Cakery Bakery. This affair couldn’t be more gorgeous. See it all right here!

The always elegant setting of Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford, California, proved to be the perfect location for Danielle and Tomas’s Napa Valley wedding. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception held beneath weaving grapevines and crystal chandeliers, the rule of the day was simplicity. Classic ivory, pink, and blush florals by Cherries were lush while the monochromatic scheme kept them understated. Julie Mikos Photographer captured gorgeous details such as the blush pink ruched Monique Lhuillier bridesmaids dresses and Danielle’s column gown with lace touches by Annasul Y. We love the watercolor details on stationery by Wedding Paper Divas and the blend of rustic and sophisticated decor helmed by Dee Merz. Oh, we do love a playful theme around here, and Valerie and Michael’s wedding doesn’t disappoint! We love these happy images from Alders Photography, especially the ones centered around the Ferris wheel and oversize balloons! We also adore the drama of strands of lights hanging from the trees during the couple’s outdoor ceremony at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Mulberry Row weaved together arrangements of pink and green flowers dotted with succulents for a slightly rustic feel, and bridesmaids wore sweet pink dresses by Bill Levkoff that complemented the florals. Valerie stunned in a St. Patrick gown from Karoza Bridal. Continuing the carnival theme at the reception, the couple opted for fun touches like popcorn and a cotton candy cart from Dolly’s Sweet Dreams Cotton Candy, along with a simple cake from Nikol Nakamura. What a picture-perfect Los Angeles wedding Lynn and Steve had! We’d never guess this pretty pink and white affair is set in the heart of LA, with soft blooms from Stems Florist festooning the setting at Maguire Gardens, where the ceremony was held, and Cafe Pinot, site of the reception! Our friends at Minted contributed elegant stationery, and Caroline of Serenity Events helped Lynn and Steve coordinate the day of the wedding. Bridesmaids wore short light pink dresses from J.Crew, the perfect complement to Lynn’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. And we can’t leave out Steve, handsome in a Black by Vera Wang suit! We love the mod look of Lynn’s silver snakeskin Jimmy Choo heels, too. The outdoor soiree offered plenty of great natural light for Esther Sun to photograph it perfectly. We hear at the end of the night, Lynn and Steve surprised guests with a visit from the In-N-Out Burger Cookout Trailer—a delicious finish to the flawless event! See it all in the gallery!

Rachel and Austen weren’t afraid to have a little fun with their colorful outdoor wedding, incorporating creative details into a classic affair at Laguna Gloria in Austin. Some of our favorite Lonestar photographers, The Nichols, captured this whimsical day that was filled with bold wildflowers from Verbena Floral Design and rustic but sophisticated touches by Beth Walker of 36th Street Events. We love the nod to mod in the letterpress programs and also in Rachel’s snakeskin shoes by Pour La Victoire. Her lace Romona Keveza gown from Blush Bridal Lounge and vintage jewelry was a gorgeous contrast to the blush bridesmaids dresses. We are absolutely swooning over the polished aqua vintage convertible from Vintage Rides that Rachel and Austen used as their getaway car—the perfect punchy ending to a great day! Charles’ and Brianna’s downtown Los Angeles wedding is full of elegance and sophistication! The couple chose the rooftop of The Los Angeles Athletic Club for their ceremony, to which Brianna wore a structured gown with a mod silhouette. Bridesmaids chose their own vintage-inspired gowns in the taupe-gold family, and beading on the dresses made sure they shined in the city’s afternoon light! Pink and gold flowers mixed with subtle baby’s breath from Rosebud Floral Design dressed up the gorgeous ballroom, and the wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Whitney Wing Drake of Wish Wonder Dream. Jessica and Daniel opted for an intimate ceremony atop the roof of the Bryant Park Grill, which we find sweetly romantic! Jessica remembers walking through Bryant Park as straight out of a fairytale, with locals and tourists sharing their congratulations and taking photos. It was a celebrity moment! Romantic pink and gold was the theme of the day, with a bubblegum pink Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dress, NYC skyline invitations from Bella Figura, and the pretty spring florals—featuring Jessica’s adored peonies—from Verde Flowers. Our hearts are aflutter over the vintage look of Jessica’s Allure Bridals gown, Pronovias veil, and gold glitter Kate Spade heels. Emily and Chris’s outdoor wedding—held at the groom’s family home in Zionsville, Indiana—is a study in spring colors and elegant rustic details. Peach, green, yellow, and cream flowers by Enflora are pretty and lush even in understated colors, and Premier Events helped the couple style their coastal-inspired reception, held beneath tents at the family home. Harrison Studio captured the pastoral, elegant details of the day, like the taupe bridesmaids dresses from J.Crew and the seaglass-colored tablescapes with watercolor accents. Emily’s Modern Trousseau lace gown is the perfect mix of bohemian and modern. Don’t overlook the fabulous ombre cake, in shades of blush and taupe, from Classic Cakes. Fun fact: Emily’s matron of honor is the lovely Vanessa, whose wedding we featured last summer—these ladies have great taste! Stephanie and John’s Los Angeles wedding, captured by Milou + Olin Photography, is classic with a touch of vintage glamour, and we’re in love! We don’t know about you, but we can’t seem to peel our eyes away from Stephanie — her light and airy trumpet style gown and silver Jimmy Choo heels are seriously stunning! And how about the bridesmaids’ charcoal colored dresses? The pink sash really adds a soft pop of color to their outfits!
