Soft + Pretty Vineyard Wedding

We are simply dazzled by Devin and Ryan’s gorgeous Napa Valley wedding, held at a lush private estate in the heart of wine country! Lush spring blooms, olive branches, and details in lovely peach and green hues make this affair classic and pretty, all thanks to the expertise of Napa Valley Custom Events by Sharon Burns. Even the invitations from Foglio Press incorporate the olive leaf theme. Devin’s romantic strapless gown and filmy peach bridesmaids dresses are lovely at the outdoor ceremony, which was also punctuated with peonies and other exotic blooms from Julie Stevens Design. These images from Julie Kay Kelly Photography are just brimming with beautiful details, and we love them all!

Claire and Will’s breathtaking St. Helena wedding is such a fresh and classic affair to start the new year! Lush rose, hydrangea and orchid blooms in shades of cream and white from Paul Stokey of Tesoro set the stage for an elegant outdoor ceremony at Meadowood Napa Valley. Soft, one-shoulder bridesmaids dresses by Joanna August from Bella Bridesmaid are subtle but gorgeous, especially next to Claire’s lace cap-sleeve Romona Keveza Collection gown! We adore the sweet silver sparkle of her Jimmy Choo heels as well. These stunning images from Megan Clouse catch all the highlights, from timeless stationery by Write Selection to the filmy elegance of Claire’s veil from Neiman Marcus and the simple cake by Perfect Endings, festooned with fresh floral garlands. We’re swooning over all of these romantic details!

We are smitten with Karen and Michael’s classic wine country wedding! With the help of Covenant Coordinating, their vision of an intimate gathering at Mayacama fell into place. A seasonal color palette of burgundy, eggplant, taupe, and olive echoed the gorgeous surroundings, and lovely florals by Maria Philbin Floral Design dressed gorgeous tabletops set amongst the votive-lit trees. Karen is radiant in her Amy Kuschel gown and Kate Spade heels, which are perfectly complemented by her ladies’ J. Crew dresses. We love each and every image from Julie Mikos | Photographer!

Brooke and Bobby’s big day was a total family affair in Valley Center, California. Held at the mother of the bride’s home—bordering a vineyard—Brooke describes the atmosphere as “like a Tuscan countryside at sunset with twinkling lights and candles set in the trees.” It certainly sounds breathtaking, and the images from Color Me Rad are just that, too. Brooke’s stepfather built a bridge for her to walk across—glowing in a dress designed by her stepmother and jewelry from ArtHappens—in lieu of an aisle. The Third Coast Jazz Band played as twilight settled over this perfect day. “You could just feel the love that went into this special occasion,” says Brooke.

File Kelly and Trevor’s Sonoma, California, wedding under “Exactly What to Do,” because it doesn’t get much better than this! A sophisticated celebration at Cline Cellars captured the essence of what the couple envisioned—one big, fun party for their friends and family. Understated Champagne-colored bridesmaids dresses allowed Kelly’s Ines Di Santo gown to take center stage beneath a canopy of trees at the outdoor ceremony. Pale peach, pink, and ivory bouquets and centerpieces by Violetta sit pretty against a rustic setting that included plenty of vineyard greenery and wine barrels. We can never get enough of creative, personalized details, like monogrammed Mr. and Mrs. chair covers, a whimsical bride-and-groom bird topper on the confection from Forget-Me-Not-Cakes, and—oh!—that fabulous vintage getaway car. Joyce and Lucas’ bright and colorful wedding was held in the gardens of the Allied Arts Guild amongst thousands of flowers. The grounds of this venue are truly gorgeous but what’s even more amazing is that they donate a portion of each wedding’s fees to support chronically ill and physically challenged children! So great. The couple loves Scrabble, so they incorporated the game throughout their day in table numbers, signs, and the bride even played a game while she was getting ready in the morning. This sweet wedding and these bright and cheery photos by Alison Yin Photography will certainly make you smile today!

I simply love California weddings and this warm and colorful winery wedding is no exception! Healdsburg Country Gardens played a stunning backdrop to Austin and Brian’s big day. A sophisticated yet casual wedding, they decorated with gorgeous rose, dahlia, and freesia arrangements by Floral Designs by Heather Hendrickson. I love all the natural details they used such as the wooden apple baskets and the twig-tied napkins! The gorgeous colors and scenery were brought to life in the images from the always amazing Julie Mikos!

The always elegant setting of Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford, California, proved to be the perfect location for Danielle and Tomas’s Napa Valley wedding. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception held beneath weaving grapevines and crystal chandeliers, the rule of the day was simplicity. Classic ivory, pink, and blush florals by Cherries were lush while the monochromatic scheme kept them understated. Julie Mikos Photographer captured gorgeous details such as the blush pink ruched Monique Lhuillier bridesmaids dresses and Danielle’s column gown with lace touches by Annasul Y. We love the watercolor details on stationery by Wedding Paper Divas and the blend of rustic and sophisticated decor helmed by Dee Merz. The cake festooned with fresh blooms by Perfect Endings is, indeed, the perfect ending to this amazing affair—see it all in the gallery!

Bold and pretty are the perfect words to describe Angela and Michael’s Santa Rosa wedding, held at Annadel Estate Winery. The beautiful blues, red, and purples of the flowers by Elyse Litt of Willow Floral Design are somewhat unexpected, making that much more of a statement. Bret Cole Photography did a stunning job capturing the day’s details, including the intricate beading on Angela’s Lazaro gown and the rustic, elegant surroundings of the vineyard and barn-style space where the ceremony was held. On the lawn for the reception, Melissa Panico of MAP Weddings & Events coordinated lovely centerpieces along long tables with gold touches and pretty linens from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental. We are completely head over heels for this chic and colorful vineyard wedding—swoon over all of the details in the gallery!

When she pictured her wedding with Eric, Jodi envisioned rustic elegance—a blend of wood, lace and a touch of sparkle that would make a lasting impression on their guests. With Southern California’s elegant Walnut Grove ranch as their backdrop, the couple took on a multitude of do-it-yourself endeavors, as well as spent hours scouring Etsy for the perfect invitations, programs and favors. “I poured my heart into every little detail, and it ended up just how I had imagined it.,” the bride says. We’re head-over-heels for every detail ourselves, from the wooden centerpiece boxes etched with the couple’s initials to the pastel blooms that florist Regina Robertson arranged in each box. And those cakes! This couple had not one but three incredible, delectable whipped creations from Cindy Harber. We can only imagine they were as delicious as they look!

Pardon our gushing, but this is one of our favorite weddings ever! It just so happens to be one of Jen Huang Photography‘s, too! The gray and pink color palette is soft and romantic, and the setting at the Houston Zoo is unexpected and fun. The photos from Jen Huang Photography are so breathtaking that we can only imagine how fabulous this fete was in person. Rachel and Naomi planned for 15 months, leaving not a detail untouched. The bride designed the flowers—assembled to her wishes by The Nouveau Romantics—including her rose, peony, ranunculus, and dusty miller bouquet. The adorable gray and pink ruffled bridesmaids dresses from Eden Bridals are playful and go perfectly with the color scheme, too, but we simply can’t stop staring at the gorgeous Ines Di Santo gown. This wedding definitely has the wow factor!

We’re not sure it gets more breathtaking than celebrating your wedding at a winery in Sonoma! Stephanie and Frank chose the gorgeous Viansa Winery for theirs, and the couple agrees that “reality exceeded our expectations!” Volatile Photography captured every little detail, from the soft pink and cream blooms fashioned by Vanda Floral Design to the vibrant rose-topped cake from Fleur de Lisa. The romantic tented reception area, with lots of pink, white and gold details, is making us swoon. We are in ooh-la-la love with Stephanie’s hot pink Badgley Mischka shoes—the jewel-encrusted brooch on each one repeats the same detail as the edging of her Pronovias gown. It’s the little things that make a big day!

Mandy and Jim’s wedding was a wedding guest’s dream. Spectacular views, to-die-for florals, a gorgeous outdoor reception, and a fantastic favor to take home! Their florals by Maria Philbin were a true dream: phalaenopsis orchids, peonies, hydrangea, and roses to make up Mandy’s bouquet, and an aisle decorated with the most lush peonies, roses, and tulips! It’s enough to make one a bit woozy. A marvelous day for sure with fantastic photos by the lovely Julie Mikos!

If Diana and Danny’s everyday lives are even half as chic as their Southern California wedding, they’re definitely some of the most stylish people ever! This beautiful couple was married at the Cravens Estate in Pasadena surrounded by friends and family from all over. There are many details about their wedding that I love (like Diana’s amazing shoes and accessories) but once I saw their colorful florals I was smitten! Rooted Harmony blended rich textures and colors to create bright and elegant arrangements that include peonies, roses, wax flower, astilbe, eucalyptus, and even succulents! Oh how I love a winery wedding! Always classy and elegant with just the right touch of rustic. Mio and Dave’s spin on their Southern California winery wedding incorporates bold red and green florals by Mitsuko Floral in with the rustic elegance of Ponte Family Estate Winery. Brides who love red and green but want to know how to use it without hints of the holidays: take note! This is absolutely the way to do it. They also incorporate lots of mossy details such as their table numbers, topiaries, and even some mossy hanging monograms. Utterly in love with this wedding and all the photos by the wonderful Adrienne Gunde!

Belinda and Jim’s wedding is not only about as sophisticated and elegant as it gets, but it’s got an utterly fantastic pop of bold color throughout too! Bridesmaids in bright pink BCBG dresses, vibrant pink and red florals dripping with crystals by City of Commerce Flower, and glittering pink favors at each place setting, all set against their stunning venue Athenaeum at Caltech. The venue by itself is amazing, but then add in all these incredible details? I’m 100% smitten. Oh and add in the perfection that is Belinda’s Valentino heels? Make that 110%. Bravo to the whole team responsible for this gorgeous wedding and to Marvin Tsai for the beautiful photos!

I’m pretty sure if I was still planning my own nuptials, Walker and Scott’s gorgeous Sonoma winery wedding would be at the top of my inspiration list. Reflecting the couple’s love of wine country, the event was fresh, elegant, and romantic. Stunning roses, hydrangeas, and orchids decorated Mayacama in a palette of soft peaches, creams, and bright greens. Guests dined under olive trees that were dotted with sparkly hanging votives as the sun set. Leah and Jason were married at Casa Real in Pleasanton, CA. I’m a huge fan of the golds, creams, and pinks that they chose for their color palette, so warm and pretty! The flowers by Delford West Flowers feature some swoon-worthy blooms and were the perfect choice to help the couple create their classic and elegant feel. Leah and Jason look so beautiful and happy and as always, the images from Julie Mikos are stunning!

Jennifer and Daniel fell in love with the French-Vietnamese chapel and covered barn at Camp Lucy the moment they set eyes upon the venue just outside of Jennifer’s hometown of Austin, Texas. With a short engagement, the couple pulled together a dream team of vendors to create their rustic, elegant day. Beautiful florals from Posey Floral and Event Design brought the outside in, with eucalyptus and hydrangea trumpets flanked by low-lying peach and ivory blooms in wooden boxes. Personal details were peppered throughout, from the lace sachets handcrafted by Daniel’s grandmother, which were filled with French candies to honor Daniel’s French heritage, to the grapefruit fizz signature cocktail, the recipe crafted by the couple. We adore the fresh seafoam green bridesmaids dresses from J.Crew and Jennifer’s sleek Pronovias gown from Brickhouse Bridal,with a chic updo by Mandy Silver. We’re crushing pretty hard on Jennifer and Matt’s breathtaking San Francisco wedding in all its sleek black and white glory! The ceremony, held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, was a vision of structured elegance–starting with Jennifer’s mod Romona Keveza Collection gown (that back sash!) from Bridal Galleria and floor-length black Bill Levkoff dresses on bridesmaids. The black, ivory, and gold reception at The Olympic Club featured all white florals from Asiel Design, including centerpieces of cascading white orchids that are simply stunning. We love the personal touch of hand-carved shorebirds on the tables, done by Jennifer’s decoy carver father. A dessert table with confections from SusieCakes lent an air of fun to this sophisticated affair.
