Glamorous White + Gold Tabletop

Are you ready for an Inspired Creations Contest submission that’s full of color and Parisian style?  Courtney Callahan of Courtney Callahan Paper, Natalie Walsh of Hello Darling, and Jenn Gaudreau of Jennifer Kathryn Photography are behind this vibrant shoot, inspired by a European masked ball.  The color palette of teal, green, orange, and sparkly gold and bronze is so rich and vivid, and I adore the original and exotic florals with metallic foliage, Israeli ruscus, magnolia, chick pea, kale, and peacock feathers.  Lovely stationery and DIY projects such as personalized dance cards for each guest, a ribbon garland, and hanging “bride and groom” wreaths are just a few of the beautiful touches that make this concept unique – and believe it or not, all of what you see below was created on a budget of only $337!

Today’s Friday Flowers is pure sophisticated elegance! Working with the beautiful setting of Scottsdale’s Country Club at DC Ranch, Petal Pusher and Stephanie Fay Photography created a vibrant tabletop and dessert table in shades of deep fuchsia, royal blue, and gold. We adore all of the elegant touches, including calligraphy menus by LittleOwl Letterpress and gorgeous flowing chair covers from Wildflower Linen, and are completely over the moon for the embossed gold cake created by Classic Cakes and Confections (and the sparkly dessert table backdrop too!). Prepare to swoon over all of the glamorous details!

Shalyn Nelson Photography and Inspired Events and Designs teamed up for a vintage cornfield shoot inspired by the quote “Live by the sun, love by the moon.” They brought in lots of yellow and orange as well as crisp whites to compliment the green fields of corn. I absolutely ADORE the stunning florals by Lindy Floral. The various flowers, fruits, and greens provide such incredible texture against with the yellow chevron chairs and the clean white linens. Such a gorgeous shoot!!

Dramatic jewel tones meet rustic barn setting in this inspiration shoot from One Summer Day, set at Silverbrook Farm in Virginia’s Horse Country. It’s simply gorgeous! The fall feel of the shoot is thanks to moody portraits, set amidst vintage decor from Stylish Patina Vintage Rentals. Coordinated by Ashlee Virginia Events, details like brass candlesticks and gold china sit among deep red and purple florals by Petals & Hedges. We cannot take our eyes off the black and gold stationery and that amazing and unusual cake from Cakebee! And how gorgeous is the gown from Soliloquy Bridal Couture? Frilly, girly, romantic… we’re head-over-heels in love with this inspiration shoot from Ashley Bartoletti Photography! The first hint of the glamour to come is in the pretty pink stationery accented with gold glitter from ALH Designs. Soft and lush flowers in shades of pink, green, and lavender by Robertson’s Flowers are a perfect complement to the gorgeous Cairnwood in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. Renee Patrone of Events by Renee pulled in gleaming gold accents, mercury glass, and mint julep cups to give the tablescape and desserts by Stephen Starr Events an unmistakable sparkle. And, of course, we saved the best for last: the amazing Watters gown with an ecru sash featuring a flirty feathery embellishment from Van Cleve Wedding Pavilion. Elisabeth Carol Photography brings us today’s gorgeous inspiration in shades of emerald green and glittery gold, and it’s fabulous! Set outdoors at the Bell Tower Chapel & Garden in Ft. Worth, Texas, this ivory tablecloth is striped in the color scheme and accented with gold flatware and Chiavari chairs. We love! Stunning white bouquets by Events a la Carte are a big burst of sophistication among the other elements, coordinated by Borrowed & Blue. An ivory cake festooned with fresh flowers from Sweetie Mae’s Sweetcakes looks like an edible version of the pretty table arrangements. The strapless gown from David’s Bridal gets a touch of bling, too, from glittery ballet flats. Enjoy this pretty and sophisticated soiree!

Absolutely fabulous is the name of the game in today’s inspiration shoot from E.M. Anderson Photography! We promise you’ll find tons of great ideas from this winter-inspired scheme set at The Athletic Club of Columbus in Ohio. Gorgeous jewel-tone arrangements from Flowers on Orchard Lane pop against the to-die-for gorgeous Anna Maier | Ulla-Maija Couture gown. Emilie Duncan Event Planning pulled together this breathtaking affair, calling on Ink and Ivory for frame-worthy invitations. Black and ivory linens from Event Source add a touch of drama to the fondant cake by Bella Luna Cakes & Confections. What more could you want? Answer: Nothing!

Photographer Caroline Tran calls this Saddlerock Ranch inspiration shoot—complete with a dreamy tabletop covered in driftwood, protea and colored glass—”easily one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever shot.” It’s no wonder this Malibu, California shoot is one of our favorites of the year! Caroline teamed up with Utterly Engaged magazine and So Happi Together to craft this uber-creative shoot, which was also part of one of the photographer’s recent workshops. We’ve fallen for the eclectic, mismatched vintage seating surrounding the long farmhouse table, provided by Found Vintage Rentals, and the ruffled ombre cake by A Wish and A Whisk. Oh, and the zebras! Who could resist wedding inspiration that comes with zebras?!

I couldn’t be happier about all the prettiness we’ve got today, and wait ’til you see what we’ve got now! This gorgeous styled shoot was created by Imoni Events who incorporated personal and creative details with stunning florals by Petal Pusher. I was swoooning over the colorful palette of pinks and peaches with bright pops of tangerine and I absolutely adore the Southwestern goodness in the backdrop of Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Climbing vines, gorgeous fountains, and old trees? Yes please! Oh how I love this whole shoot and all the photos by Melissa Jill Photography. Hope you enjoy it too!

It’s taken just about every bit of restraint I’ve got to keep myself from driving to the beach in this incredible weather. Anyone else with me on that? For now we’ll have to settle for living vicariously through this gorgeous nautical shoot from Brooke Roberts Photography. I can feel the breeze now on this glorious Jekyll Island wharf, and taste the delicious seafood placed so beautifully on this table set for two. And those perfectly blue and white florals by English Gardens? Simply divine. The natural, rustic beauty of this seaside shoot will keep me from driving to the beach…at least until the weekend!

It’s usually about this time of year when snow melts, birds start to fly back, and plants that have been sleeping all winter begin to peek through the warming ground. This fabulous spring-inspired shoot by Greia Marlow Events and Kor Floral is a nod to all those elements we see emerging this time of year. Not quite in bloom yet, they featured bulbs and greenery in a modern tablescape in a neutral palette. You already know I’m a fan of dipped glassware, and I adore these modern invitations by SeeLeigh! The styled shoot we have for you today was inspired by the feeling of being completely and utterly lovestruck. You know – that passionate, heart-stopping, fallen-hard kind of love. Using a palette of rich fuchsia, magenta, and vibrant pinks, Julie Liles Floral & Event Design dotted roses, tulips and calla lilies with crystals and arranged them among sparkling candles and lanterns. How fabulous are the custom headpieces by Petals by KC and the glittered favor boxes? Then there’s the stunning ombre cake by Frosted Bliss Cakes and the adorable sparkling cake pops by Raleigh Cake Pops too! A while ago, we shared this Modern Yellow and White Tablescape and everyone loved it so much that for today’s Friday Flowers we’ve got a tutorial for you on how to create it yourself! Designed by Dani at Studio Fleurette, this tablescape is fresh, modern, and easily modified for any style of event! Change out the type of flowers used (switch out the craspedia for roses perhaps?) and voila – a completely new look!  Here’s the down-low on creating this organic, stylish tabletop.

If 2011 was the year of rustic chic, 2012 is going to be the year of elegance and glam. This stunning shoot from Katelyn James Photography is the epitome of classic, baroque beauty and I am completely head over heels in love with the gorgeous details… the gilded pear place cards, the fabulous centerpieces from Janie Medley Flora Design that incorporate pomegranates and cabbage, the ornate framed table number and delicate, colorful china – it’s all perfection!

What a beautiful way to start the week – a gorgeous tabletop, dessert table, and fashion shoot inspired by a French countryside tea party!  This chic shoot at Chicago’s Loft on Lake was designed by Carlene of Naturally Yours Events and features DIY and eco-friendly elements throughout.  Carlene created the escort card display from strips of muslin, lace, and textured fabrics tied onto a piece of wood, many of the florals were grown by Larkspur and are all seasonal, and the stunning bridal gowns were created by Mignonette Bridal using repurposed lace. Even the art from Emmy Star Brown is framed in old window panes!  I’m utterly in love with each and every little detail and all of the images by Julia Franzosa Photography!

Inspired by a peacock feather, these jewel-toned tabletops designed by Beth of SQN Events are the perfect combination of elegant and modern.  Whether you’re planning a wedding or a party, jewel tones set the stage for a fabulous urban holiday soiree, and the gorgeous purple, red, and green palette is brought to life by the modern blooms from Dilly Lily.  Ribbon-wrapped menus and favor boxes with touches of swirling calligraphy add an elegant touch to the wedding tabletop while “naughty” and “nice” gift boxes add cheeky punch to the holiday tablescape.  The scrumptious sweets table and 4-tier truffle cake from Truffle Truffle is a fun and unique alternative to a traditional cake.  I’m in love with all of the colorful images from Maypole Studios!

I love fall weddings, especially when there are unique and fun autumn elements that are outside of the traditional norm.  This fabulous inspiration shoot from Lisa Martin Bloomsberry Floral and Sara Gray Photography brings a modern spin to the fall wedding, showcasing a color palette of vivid orange and yellow paired with kraft paper brown, and fun and unique details including a beer and nut bar, apple place cards, and a recycled beer bottle centerpiece!  The beautiful models show off two bridal looks – one classic and one soft and playful, and what better accessory for bridesmaids than bright yellow Hunter boots?

Remember when we wrote that we were gaga for chevron?   Well if that didn’t convince you that chevron is the hottest pattern going, this lovely inspiration shoot from Jamie Sears of Simply Chic Events will!  Jamie set out to create a beautiful styled shoot that featured both an engagement picnic and a tabletop, showing how you can take a simple motif and tie together your entire series of wedding events.  Blue chevron makes a repeat appearance here, from the napkins, to the stationery and signage, to the gorgeous table’s runner.  Sit back and enjoy the beautiful images from Holland Photo Arts and the sweet southern setting of Charlottesville’s Clifton Inn!

This beautiful shoot is inspired by the idea that love is eternal. The team of Anna Wu Photography, Va de Vie Events, and Gingerleaf Floral designed this gorgeous inspiration shoot with time related props: vintage clocks, an hourglass, a metronome, and pocket watches to play off the “From Here to Eternity” theme. Anna and team did a wonderful job with this photo shoot, not just because it’s so beautiful, but also because she gives such good tips on her blog about how to work with a theme and different ways of playing with budgets. Incredible advice for brides and incredibly beautiful as well!
