Elegant Pink + Gray Wedding

We are simply dazzled by Devin and Ryan’s gorgeous Napa Valley wedding, held at a lush private estate in the heart of wine country! Lush spring blooms, olive branches, and details in lovely peach and green hues make this affair classic and pretty, all thanks to the expertise of Napa Valley Custom Events by Sharon Burns. Even the invitations from Foglio Press incorporate the olive leaf theme. Devin’s romantic strapless gown and filmy peach bridesmaids dresses are lovely at the outdoor ceremony, which was also punctuated with peonies and other exotic blooms from Julie Stevens Design. These images from Julie Kay Kelly Photography are just brimming with beautiful details, and we love them all!

Jessica and Daniel opted for an intimate ceremony atop the roof of the Bryant Park Grill, which we find sweetly romantic! Jessica remembers walking through Bryant Park as straight out of a fairytale, with locals and tourists sharing their congratulations and taking photos. It was a celebrity moment! Romantic pink and gold was the theme of the day, with a bubblegum pink Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dress, NYC skyline invitations from Bella Figura, and the pretty spring florals—featuring Jessica’s adored peonies—from Verde Flowers. Our hearts are aflutter over the vintage look of Jessica’s Allure Bridals gown, Pronovias veil, and gold glitter Kate Spade heels. Lauren and Adam wanted something unique and special for the guests traveling to their Santa Monica wedding, and the only venue they ever considered was Shutters on the Beach. A white flower-covered chuppah paired with Lauren’s Monique Lhuillier gown were magical against the backdrop of sparkling water, giving guests a glimpse of true California style. Charcoal-colored bridesmaids dresses from Nordstrom picked up the slightest hint of stormy gray in the Pacific and paired well with pink ombre-inspired bouquets from The Floral Lab for a soothing color palette that gave way to a bold reception indoors: shades of pink blooms, from bubblegum to fuchsia, adorning tables covered in deep gray linens. Artist Agnes Csiszar painted the scene as Lauren and Adam took to the dance floor with guests, a keepsake idea we adore! As always, Hazelnut Photography perfectly captured this amazing soiree!

File Kelly and Trevor’s Sonoma, California, wedding under “Exactly What to Do,” because it doesn’t get much better than this! A sophisticated celebration at Cline Cellars captured the essence of what the couple envisioned—one big, fun party for their friends and family. Understated Champagne-colored bridesmaids dresses allowed Kelly’s Ines Di Santo gown to take center stage beneath a canopy of trees at the outdoor ceremony. Pale peach, pink, and ivory bouquets and centerpieces by Violetta sit pretty against a rustic setting that included plenty of vineyard greenery and wine barrels. We can never get enough of creative, personalized details, like monogrammed Mr. and Mrs. chair covers, a whimsical bride-and-groom bird topper on the confection from Forget-Me-Not-Cakes, and—oh!—that fabulous vintage getaway car. California bride Jamie says her wedding was the happiest day of her life—and it was a pretty happy day when we opened these striking images of her gorgeous event from Beaux Arts Photographie too! The Fullerton Arboretum played host to Jamie and Daniel’s outdoor ceremony, peppered with classic details like strapless blue bridesmaids’ dresses from Bella Wedding Bridal and soft white bouquets from Flower Allie that popped against the lush landscape. Guests crossed the lawn for a tented reception filled with dancing to music by the Harrison Jazz Ensemble, laughter, and plenty of baby’s breath arrangements standing guard at tables—the inspiration for the couple’s all-white decor.

Ever since she was a little girl, Natasha dreamt of getting married in an Italian villa. As soon as she and Andrew saw Pasadena’s Villa del Sol d’Oro, they knew it was the place that would make her dreams come true! From the expansive gardens to the stunning architecture, it was the perfect venue to incorporate their love of vintage elegance and allow their guests to feel like they were transported to another time and place. I’m absolutely swooning over Debbie and Robert’s classic and modern wedding! There are so many details that are just so gorgeous – Debbie’s beautiful gown and shoes, flowers by the always incredible JL Designs, but I have to admit that my favorite part of their big day is the actual venue itself, Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano, California. The couple wanted their celebration outside, but at the same time, their religion is very important to them. So, what to do? Bring in antique church pews and suspend chandeliers from mid-air over the venue’s courtyard, of course! After the ceremony, the courtyard was flipped into a banquet-style outdoor reception so that everyone could celebrate under the stars. Bonnie says she remembers gliding around her wedding day “like a Queen who had just married her perfect King” and similarly, the details of her beautiful Bay Area wedding to Zlatko had a royal touch to them. The fabulous Kohl Mansion was the ideal venue for their big day, with both the interior and grounds regally curated and full of well-manicured gardens. Their florist, very appropriately named Royal Bloom, brought the beauty and feel of English gardens indoors with natural-shaped bouquets overflowing with roses, hydrangea, eucalyptus, and passion flower vine, and they even created a crown of hypericum berries for Bonnie! Danielle Gillett Photography captured the beautiful photos of Bonnie and Zlatko’s big day.

Lily and Bobby were married at the gorgeous Santaluz Club in San Diego. The venue provided lots of inspiration for them and their wedding planner, Thomas Bui, created a beautiful and romantic event with just a pinch of rustic thrown in. Any event that incorporates big fluffy peonies and succulents is for sure to be something I love and the florals by Adorations Botanical Artistry certainly did not disappoint. These photos by Vallentyne Photography are gorgeous and yet again make me long for my own California wedding!

Romantic and vintage with a pop of color is what Kate and Anthony were looking to accomplish through their Boca Raton wedding, and these sweet images from Mi Amore Foto show us they did just that! The stunning Italian-esque venue of The Addison provided the romance the couple desired for the day, while roses in shades of cream, pink, and red and vintage-style details from Daniel Events took care of the flowers and pretty styling; Grace Eurglunes of The Addison helped finalize all the lovely details. Punchy coral and blush pink bridesmaids dresses from Nordstrom brought in the pops of color, which were perfect against the outdoor Mediterranean backdrop and also alongside Kate’s lace Jim Hjelm gown from Blue Sky Bridal. She accented her gown with a blue hairpiece and Tiffany blue Cole Haan shoes, a detail we adore! Whimsical stationery by Minted and a sparkling cake from The Addison were just two more of the gorgeous details of this day. “It was absolutely perfect,” says Kate. “From the festival lights strung across the giant banyan trees, to people getting down on the dance floor to the great music.” Most of all, Kate and Anthony agree it ended exactly as they wanted it: by being married to their best friend!

We’re crushing pretty hard on Jennifer and Matt’s breathtaking San Francisco wedding in all its sleek black and white glory! The ceremony, held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, was a vision of structured elegance–starting with Jennifer’s mod Romona Keveza Collection gown (that back sash!) from Bridal Galleria and floor-length black Bill Levkoff dresses on bridesmaids. The black, ivory, and gold reception at The Olympic Club featured all white florals from Asiel Design, including centerpieces of cascading white orchids that are simply stunning. We love the personal touch of hand-carved shorebirds on the tables, done by Jennifer’s decoy carver father. A dessert table with confections from SusieCakes lent an air of fun to this sophisticated affair. Alexa and Virgil fell in love with the Tuscan style of Villa del Sol d’Oro in Sierra Madre, California, which was the charming backdrop of their romantic outdoor wedding. Allowing the venue and the spring season to serve as inspiration, they worked with Blushing Romance to create chic florals that enhanced the surroundings. Lush peonies, ranunculus, and anemones combined with dusty miller are soft and lovely; we love the light pinks paired with black bridesmaids dresses and romantic hair styles by Raluca Bucse. Alexa’s stunning Saison Blanche Couture gown from Mary Me Bridal is slightly modern, with a shirred tulle skirt that is simply divine! Alexa and Virgil remember the entire affair as the perfect day. “The atmosphere was phenomenal!” says the bride. “Everything went so smoothly that day, we were fully enjoying our wedding and soaking in very happy moment.” We are head over heels for these gorgeous images from Diana Marie Photography!

Sara and Chris’s romantic garden wedding at Hartley Botanica simply has us swooning! For starters, Sara’s White by Vera Wang gown–in a soft and sweet shade of pink–is nothing short of amazing! And with a backdrop like that, pastel roses in more shades of pink and lavender are a must; we adore the lush bouquet by Belle of the Ball Designs that Sara carried! Whimsical floral stationery from Minted further grounded the theme of this affair, where Sara and Chris took their vows beneath a canopy of curly branches, twinkling lights, and a jaw-dropping chandelier covered in lush blooms. The always elegant setting of Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford, California, proved to be the perfect location for Danielle and Tomas’s Napa Valley wedding. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception held beneath weaving grapevines and crystal chandeliers, the rule of the day was simplicity. Classic ivory, pink, and blush florals by Cherries were lush while the monochromatic scheme kept them understated. Julie Mikos Photographer captured gorgeous details such as the blush pink ruched Monique Lhuillier bridesmaids dresses and Danielle’s column gown with lace touches by Annasul Y. Lowcountry weddings don’t get more sophisticated than Suzanne and Stephen’s! The Southern setting of Lowndes Grove Plantation is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and elegant tent reception, with pink and cream florals by Stems and styling by A Charleston Bride. Suzanne’s lace Allure Couture gown, with a satin-and-rhinestone sash and V-cut back, is chic with a slight vintage feel. A pretty but neutral color scheme, like blush Wtoo bridesmaids dresses and gold and cream ceremony details, are beautiful in these images from Richard Ellis Photographer. The placement of a lovely confection from Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal is just right at the front of the tent swathed in blush and cream linens and adorned with luxe gold chandeliers. Danae and Paul’s pastoral wedding at Blue Door Farm in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, is down-home sophistication at its absolute best! How gorgeous are those sloping hills behind the trees where the ceremony was held? Danae’s mother, Dee McDuffee, did the flowers, and we just love the all-white cascading bridal bouquet. The lace details of Danae’s gown are stunning, and her short fishnet veil is a perfect complement to the more intricate ensemble. We’re pretty sure the short navy bridesmaids dresses—with chic ruffled collars—are something we would wear again, and the classic color is perfect carried over into crisp blue and white reception decor. Even the mouthwatering cake, from Bumbleberries, got a touch of blue with accent flowers. Oh, how we adore the soft colors and romantic vibe of Mirna and Robin’s Bay Area wedding at Mission Santa Clara de Asis! These images from Caroline Tran are as ethereal as Mirna’s classic Monique Lhuillier gown—and we love the fresh flowers tucked into her sleek updo! Pink and white ruled the day, from flowers by Nicole Ha Designs to the blush-colored cake by Rosewood Sand Hill, also the site of the fabulous reception. Mirna’s bridesmaids wore long light taupe dresses by Saja Wedding to complement the surrounding pale pinks, a color combo that’s classic and fresh. Each carefully executed detail was overseen by Amazae Special Events. This fabulous fete is absolutely stunning!

Ashley and Erik’s low-key but gorgeous wedding at Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, California, in the Bay Area, has some fab details we’re loving! To name a few: updated traditional stationery from Papyrus and Paper Source, exquisite pastel bouquets that pop against dusty blue bridesmaids dresses, and a sweet dessert with sugar flowers from Studio Cake atop—are you ready for this?—a gold sequin tablecloth from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental. We die! Ashley’s Victoria Nicole gown is a classic silhouette with just enough bling, and mod blush-colored Miu Miu shoes are the perfect complement. Beachside weddings in Santa Monica simply guarantee gorgeousness, and Pauline and Richard’s wedding at Shutters on the Beach doesn’t disappoint. We’re loving the juxtaposition of sophisticated ceremony images with casual beach portraits from Connie Lyu Photography. Pauline is a glowing bride in a lace mermaid-style gown, and we love the crispness of the water blue bridesmaids dresses. Touches of lace and pastel pink accent this entire dreamy affair. We wouldn’t change a thing, see it all in the gallery!

A big rainstorm may have drowned Miranda and Matthew’s plan for a 70-degree Santa Barbara wedding day, but it certainly didn’t damper the festivities. The couple still gave guests a fabulous—albeit windy—time beachside at the Bacara Resort & Spa. The strong breeze only added to the ethereal Kenneth Pool gown Miranda wore, blowing the gauzy tulle skirt in cloud-like swirls and she and Matthew said “I do.” The elegant bouquets by Blue Magnolia Floral & Event Design are classic, especially with navy bridesmaids from J.Crew, but we really love all of the lush greenery and rose garlands strung across the aisle and scattered around the reception room as well. Bacara Resort & Spa provided a yummy dessert spread, with a two-tiered cake trimmed with silk ribbon crowning the center of the table.
