Elegant All-White Wedding

Inspiration for weddings can come from many different places and the inspiration for Diana and Michael’s gorgeous Los Angeles wedding at the Hotel Intercontinental was Diana’s stunning, light, and airy Vera Wang gown. The rest of the details and decor followed suit, incorporating cloud-like baby’s breath as the main flower for all the centerpieces, the stunning aisle garlands and flower girl wreath, and as a delicate pillow beneath their cake.  We absolutely adore each of these airy and ethereal images from Hazelnut Photography!

I can already tell Cara and Greg’s wedding is going to be one of my very favorites of the entire year! Every detail is absolute perfection! From the picturesque setting at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, to Cara’s breathtaking Monique Lhuillier gown and everything in between, these images from Jessica Lewis Photography will send your heart aflutter. Chef David Laufer of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village made a simple, elegant buttercream cake festooned with single flowers. We especially love the vintage touches and vignettes throughout the reception! The flowing Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses are so pretty with the cream and blush bouquets—we really would wear those again! See even more gorgeousness in the gallery!

Sara and Michael narrowly escaped an impending snowstorm in order to pull off their fabulous NYC fete at the JW Marriott Essex House New York! These breathtaking images from Rebecca Yale Portraits have us swooning—from white tulip bouquets to lush textural white arrangements, fashioned by Lewis Miller Design, this wedding is classic, fresh, and stunning. Helping the couple from start to finish, including designing classic cream stationery, Reed Cohen Papers and Events ensured the details were flawless. We love the light lavender Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses, a pop of springtime color in this winter wedding, and Sara’s jewel-encrusted Pnina Tornai gown from Kleinfeld—such sophistication! Blingy details at the reception sparkled and shined among the gold and cream table settings. We are dying over the amazing chandeliers in the ballroom! A chic cake from Ron Ben-Israel Cakes is exactly what Sara and Michael envisioned, and after cutting into the confection, the couple participated in a traditional Jewish wedding dance, the horah, with their guests. We are just loving these images of Ashley and Michael’s New Orleans wedding! The historic feel of the city blended with modern touches and classic details is the perfect combination for a stunning affair! We’re amazed at the breathtaking architecture of St. Louis Cathedral, site of the ceremony, as well as the timeless setting of The Roosevelt New Orleans, where the reception was held. “I wanted a classic and romantic feel for the ceremony and reception,” says Ashley. “My vision was lots of creams and whites in the furniture and flowers with lots of candles and mirrored accents. Our florist, Bahara of Plants N’ Petals, did an absolutely amazing job bringing our vision to life!” Sophisticated black bridesmaids dresses from LulaKate are dramatic, especially beside Ashley’s dazzling Rivini gown with a dramatic scalloped skirt! We just can’t get enough of the bridal party’s amazing ensemble! We love the glam accents at the reception, too, from crystal candelabras to a swiss dot cake by The Roosevelt New Orleans and the bride and groom’s classic NOLA ending: a second line with umbrellas! Natives of Los Angeles, Michelle and Miguel wanted a spot for their wedding that didn’t feel like typical LA. The Legendary Park Plaza Hotel was the perfect venue for that, with its dramatic staircases, ceilings, and windows. The Dainty Lion helped Michelle and Miguel plan a celebration that was uniquely theirs, which included lush peony bouquets, baby’s breath topiaries, and pretty blooms in glass vases along tables peppered with gold sequin linens. Bridesmaids in taupe dresses were elegant, especially standing next to Michelle in a lace and tulle Pronovias gown from Bellasposa. We love Michelle’s blue Badgley Mischka shoes with sparkling brooches! Romantic touches such as floral stationery from Wedding Paper Divas and feather accents on place settings matches the drama of the location! A dessert table at the reception featured macaroons from Sweet and Saucy Shop, topped off with a cake designed by Hotcakes Bakes. Rachel and Stephen’s snowy and romantic wedding in Park City at The St. Regis Deer Valley reminds us of an elegant Parisian affair! These glamorous images from Chantel Marie Photography have us dreaming of winter in Europe. Pink and cream blooms from Calie Rose Floral & Event Design are aplenty, woven in hair wreaths for bridesmaids and sweet bouquets for Rachel and her bridesmaids. We love the mix of blush and black bridesmaids dresses from BHLDN, Nordstrom, and Watters. Rachel’s Enzoani gown is stunning, especially with her soft updo and sparkling headpiece. What a picture-perfect Los Angeles wedding Lynn and Steve had! We’d never guess this pretty pink and white affair is set in the heart of LA, with soft blooms from Stems Florist festooning the setting at Maguire Gardens, where the ceremony was held, and Cafe Pinot, site of the reception! Our friends at Minted contributed elegant stationery, and Caroline of Serenity Events helped Lynn and Steve coordinate the day of the wedding. Bridesmaids wore short light pink dresses from J.Crew, the perfect complement to Lynn’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. And we can’t leave out Steve, handsome in a Black by Vera Wang suit! We love the mod look of Lynn’s silver snakeskin Jimmy Choo heels, too. The outdoor soiree offered plenty of great natural light for Esther Sun to photograph it perfectly. We hear at the end of the night, Lynn and Steve surprised guests with a visit from the In-N-Out Burger Cookout Trailer—a delicious finish to the flawless event! See it all in the gallery!

Beverly and Nelson went for all-out glamour when planning their oceanside nuptials at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in California! This affair is made complete by the hundreds of blush, cream, and pink blooms fashioned by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist. To complement the sweet hues, bridesmaids wore lavender one-shoulder dresses from Banana Republic. Beverly’s Lazaro gown is hands-down one of the most stunning we’ve ever laid eyes on, with ruffles and beading and details for days! The whimsical jewel-encrusted butterflies adoring her Aruna Seth shoes are fun and elegant. Platinum Weddings by Kerrie assisted Beverly and Nelson so that the day was everything they hoped for, and after looking at these photos from Sarah K. Chen Photography, we wouldn’t change a thing! We just simply cannot stop gushing over Melissa and Joe’s incredible wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach. Not a single thing was overlooked, thanks to planning and design from Jeannie Savage of Details Details Weddings & Events and White Lilac, Inc. We’re stunned at the gorgeousness of the outdoor ceremony setting—that amazing gazebo with chandeliers and the iron gates completely covered in lush pink garden blooms! Melissa’s dress is absolute perfection, with a full ruffled skirt made for dancing. The reception is equally stunning, and the images from Samuel Lippke Studios didn’t miss any of the exquisite details, from vintage decor to oversize pink and cream flower centerpieces to the gold and cream cake that echoes the motif of the intricate invitations. We love a gorgeous spring wedding, and this one fills the bill perfectly. Stephanie and Jeremy’s wedding at the Hotel Bel Air was held in the garden beneath a gazebo draped with lush flowers and greenery by Flower Wild. The flowy light taupe of the Amsale bridesmaids dresses are elegant next to Stephanie’s ethereal Monique Lhuillier gown. We love the look of organic elements like tree bark and moss and twinkling lights shown in these photos from Gia Canali Photography. This is such a lovely, gorgeous affair!

Stephanie and John’s Los Angeles wedding, captured by Milou + Olin Photography, is classic with a touch of vintage glamour, and we’re in love! We don’t know about you, but we can’t seem to peel our eyes away from Stephanie — her light and airy trumpet style gown and silver Jimmy Choo heels are seriously stunning! And how about the bridesmaids’ charcoal colored dresses? The pink sash really adds a soft pop of color to their outfits! Stephanie and John’s reception, held in a ballroom at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, is awash in sophisticated gold and pearls. How sweet are the photo table numbers? What is your favorite detail?

Janice and Joe’s sweet wedding is brimming with elegant sophistication, and it’s due in large part to the neutral creams and blush tones found in all the details. The ornate Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills is a beautiful modern backdrop for Janice’s intricate corset-style gown. Bridesmaids in different dresses in cream to blush tones further the monochromatic color scheme—such a romantic look! The always phenomenal Sloan Photographers documented the day from ceremony to the reception at LA’s Skirball Cultural Center, where cascading floral arrangements of white hydrangeas, blush roses, and white orchids by Dana Lee of AtelierFlower dotted the tables. Lovely couple, lovely affair!

Amie and Daniel’s wedding at the Montage Beverly Hills is chic and beautifully modern! From Amie’s La Sposa gown, right down to the lace-wrapped candle holders on the stunning reception tables with florals by Trisha of Hidden Garden, each detail screams modern glamour. We are in love with the soft gray and purple reception—fluffy hydrangea, dusty miller, and rose centerpieces sit atop a mix of round and estate tables, and the low, purple lighting is perfect for the Montage ballroom. The entire day was meticulously planned and carried out by Jeanie Savage of Details Details and we just adore the gorgeous images from Troy Grover Photographers—see them all in the gallery!

How lovely is this New York City wedding? So lovely that it’s a 2012 favorite! The Carlyle is the perfect iconic, sophisticated spot for Jamie and Kevin’s soiree. But that’s where the big-city modern touches end! Instead, soft floral arrangements and bouquets by Amy Merrick Flowers & Styling complement the altar swag of lush greenery and white blooms. Jamie chose a classic Katie Ermilio gown with lace sleeves and a cathedral-length veil to walk down the aisle, surrounded by fewer than 15 family members and friends. We’re dying over the bright floral china used at the reception and the cascading sugar flowers on the cake. It felt like our lucky day when we opened these pretty photos from Kate Murphy Photography!

Twin Peaks Ranch was the setting for this rustic, elegant affair, captured to perfection by Erin Hearts Court. This Southern California fete is a 2012 favorite of the photographers’ and after viewing the jaw-dropping details, coordinated by Bash, Please, it’s one of our favorites, too! The soft, flowing floral arrangements—also designed by Bash, Please—are oh-so-romantic, while the al fresco lounge made of chic furniture pieces from Found Vintage Rentals has seriously stolen our hearts! We love the sweet-and-simple menu scrolled across a mirror, and are falling for the bridesmaids’ soft grey dresses from J.Crew. We know it’s hard to pick—but do you have a favorite detail from this gorgeous wedding?

Pure magic is created when the right people come together in the right place to create a day filled to the brim with pure love and a healthy dose of style!  Montecito’s beautiful San Ysidro Ranch is the backdrop for Julie and Jason’s intimate and elegant wedding.  Julie is a stunning bride! For the ceremony, she chose a fabulous Vera Wang gown, then changed into a flowy and romantic Claire Pettibone sheath (and literally let her hair down!) for the reception, which featured romantic blush and pink arrangements by Florette Designs, and simple-but-lovely calligraphy table numbers.  We are head over heels for all of the gorgeous images from Jose Villa, and for Julie and Jason’s adorable pup too!

New Yorkers Michele and Ron chose Auberge du Soleil in Napa for their destination wedding. The entire event was impeccably elegant, no detail was left out! They used their family crest throughout their wedding, from the invitations, to the favors, even on the cake! I love the beautiful pink florals by Valley Flora in assorted silver vessels and the use of moss and burlap wrapped favors brought just a touch of rustic into the event. It gives it a very old-world European feel, don’t you think? From top to bottom, every single detail of this wedding is absolutely divine and I’m so thankful to Julie Mikos for these gorgeous photos today!

Monique and Josh’s Scottsdale wedding was filled to the brim with soft, romantic, and elegant details. I can’t get over the breathtaking scenery, old-world charm, and incredible oversized doors of their venue, Montelucia. Monique’s Lazaro gown is swoon-worthy and the beautiful florals by Camelback Flower Shop are the perfect mix of elegance and romance in beautiful pinks and whites. Such beautiful photographs by Keith Pitts to get rid of those Daylight-Savings-Monday blues!

Frances and Jared wanted their wedding to feel more like a festive dinner party than a formal reception. Unfussy garden meets shabby chic, Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar was an amazing place to host the event. It was clean and elegant and add in beautiful personal details like a stunning Ketubah and family-made chuppah and I’m always sold. I love the classic florals by LaVonne’s Florist and of course you can never go wrong with traditional engraved Crane’s wedding invitations. Ashleigh Taylor did a gorgeous job capturing the day!

Let’s all take a moment (or two) out of our day to check out this bliss-inducing Janita Mestre wedding. It’s delightfully in the desert, so of course you’re going to spot a few cacti at Galway Downs, but you’re going to see such a dreamy color palette too. Being so close to Valentine’s Day, Stephanie and Alex wanted to evoke love all throughout, so they picked pink as their go-to hue. Big and bright blush and ivory florals by Events by Floral Sensations complemented the eye-catching David’s Bridal mauve bridesmaids’ dresses, and we loved this idea, too. Instead of continuing the soft tones everywhere, shake up the colors like Stephanie and Alex and throw a deep hue in the same color family somewhere that will be seen. Adding it to the bridesmaids’ dresses was a clever touch without overwhelming the couple’s desire to have an airy feel to their wedding day.
