Los Cabos Beach Wedding

Bold and pretty are the perfect words to describe Angela and Michael’s Santa Rosa wedding, held at Annadel Estate Winery. The beautiful blues, red, and purples of the flowers by Elyse Litt of Willow Floral Design are somewhat unexpected, making that much more of a statement. Bret Cole Photography did a stunning job capturing the day’s details, including the intricate beading on Angela’s Lazaro gown and the rustic, elegant surroundings of the vineyard and barn-style space where the ceremony was held. On the lawn for the reception, Melissa Panico of MAP Weddings & Events coordinated lovely centerpieces along long tables with gold touches and pretty linens from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental. We are completely head over heels for this chic and colorful vineyard wedding—swoon over all of the details in the gallery!

We can’t decide what part of Natalia and Cody’s wedding is our favorite: the cotton candy-colored bridesmaids dresses, the outdoor setting of Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley, California, or the punches of pastel color in the hydrangeas and roses from Floral Design by Reina. Everything is so effortlessly sophisticated! Of course, Natalia’s Badgley Mischka gown is amazing, with lace and beading details on the skirt, bodice, and even sleeves. We’re also fond of Cody’s classic gray suit from Nordstrom, with a peach tie that complements the color scheme of the day, pulled together perfectly by Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design. More rustic details, like the birch and floral arbor and barnlike setting of the reception—where a cake from Parker-Lusseau Pastries & Cafe holds court—keep everything fairly low-key. Josselyn Peterson captured all of the lovely details of this pretty occasion!

Candice and Jonathan’s Santa Ynez, California, wedding is such a breath of fresh air! The Gainey Vineyard is a gorgeous yet laid-back locale for an outdoor affair, and nothing about this day disappoints! Abany Bauer Styling + Flowers crafted the blooms and other details of the day, including the lush green garland draped around wooden ceremony chairs and arrangements placed on long reception tables. Candice stuns in her Claire Pettibone gown with vintage lace cap sleeves, while her bridesmaids chose individual dresses in the same color palette. Rylee Hitchner shared these amazing images from the day, and we can’t stop poring over the chic, elegant ideas—including the understated but beautiful cake topped with fresh berries from Enjoy Cupcakes. This wedding is perfect for spring: Filled with cheery colors, herbs and even jelly favors, it brings to mind all that’s wonderful about the season! Marie and Matt’s wedding was very much a labor of love, as the couple grew the succulents that Loop Event Arts used in the vibrant centerpieces, and made pepper jelly for all their guests! Held at Carmel, California’s Holman Ranch, Marie and Matt’s wedding had some rustic touches — mason jar arrangements, for one! — but remained elegant all the same! Kelly and Jim’s wedding was a day that their guests will no doubt never forget! Although their Laguna Beach wedding at Montage was breathtakingly gorgeous with the most perfect details imaginable, what truly makes this wedding beautiful is how much thought they put into creating a day that was special for their family and friends. The event was filled with family traditions and special touches like an “I love you” chant at the ceremony and men’s and women’s poppers at each place setting! It’s sentiments like these that make a wedding special and truly memorable! But we’d be remiss if we didn’t also discuss the gorgeous floral arrangements by Tic Tock Couture Florals. We can’t get enough of those draping orchids flowing from both the the ceremony and reception arrangements and all of the stunning photos from Leigh Miller Photography!

Pardon our gushing, but this is one of our favorite weddings ever! It just so happens to be one of Jen Huang Photography‘s, too! The gray and pink color palette is soft and romantic, and the setting at the Houston Zoo is unexpected and fun. The photos from Jen Huang Photography are so breathtaking that we can only imagine how fabulous this fete was in person. Rachel and Naomi planned for 15 months, leaving not a detail untouched. The bride designed the flowers—assembled to her wishes by The Nouveau Romantics—including her rose, peony, ranunculus, and dusty miller bouquet. The adorable gray and pink ruffled bridesmaids dresses from Eden Bridals are playful and go perfectly with the color scheme, too, but we simply can’t stop staring at the gorgeous Ines Di Santo gown. This wedding definitely has the wow factor!

Sonoma Valley weddings are one of the few guarantees in life: always breathtaking! Kristy and Charles chose B.R. Cohn Winery & Olive Oil Company in Glen Ellen for their festivities, and they got a picture-perfect day, which shows clearly in the images from photographer Julie Mikos. The short, salmon-colored lace bridesmaids dresses—custom made by Eileen West—are sweet and romantic paired with small bouquets of dahlias, parrot tulips and small succulents from PoppyStone Floral Couture. Olive topiaries placed at the ceremony site and on reception tables gave a nod to the vineyard locale. Kristy’s simple but fabulous Romona Keveza Collection gown complemented the surroundings as well, a timeless but statement-making strapless dress topped with a Swarovski Crystal necklace that’s fit for Cinderella! Meritage Catering took care of all the delicious details, including a small cake topped with the most adorable bride, groom and dog we’ve ever seen—the perfect ending to a fairy tale day!

The stunning L’Auberge Del Mar is the backdrop for Megan and Chad’s chic California beachfront wedding.  Equal parts casual and sophisticated, the couple echoed the natural beauty of the resort with their earthy blue and green color palette. Jennifer Cole Florals did a phenomenal job with the florals, including blue and green hydrangea, orchids, and thistle nestled among dried grape vine as the main centerpieces at the reception, which featured tables named after their favorite vacation destinations, complete with their passport stamp pictures! We are head over heels for these beautiful images from Joielala!

Kasey and Sean wanted a relaxed, carefree atmosphere for their destination wedding, so they selected The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island to host their early summer soiree. Working with Yoj Events to plan from afar, they created a classic, timeless feel with a seaside color palette. Kasey found her “dream dress” in a sophisticated Pronovias lace gown, and Sean selected a classic blue suit. We love this beautiful waterside wedding and all of the gorgeous moments captured by Jennings King Photography!

Speechless is the word to describe how we feel about Shannon and Matt’s stunning Chicago wedding! These images from Emilia Jane leave us breathless from beginning to end, starting with the strapless column gown from Manuel Mota for Pronovias that Shannon paired with a long, simple veil from Mira Couture and a headpiece she made herself from a Nadri necklace. Shannon’s modern princess look was topped off with gold platform Brian Atwood shoes. Soft peony and garden rose blooms in pink, peach, and cream by Vale of Enna Flowers created a romantic atmosphere. Custom sequin linens by Ryan Turner of Stemline Creative add a sophisticated shot of glamour, and the centerpiece of the setup–a tinsel chandelier by James McDermott–had the bride swooning most of all. “Everything dazzled all night as the light twinkled off of the tinsel and bounced on to the walls,” says Shannon. Changing out of her gown into a bespoke reception dress by Azeeza, Shannon joined Matt on the dance floor for a non-traditional first dance before cutting into their gold leaf-accented cake by Tipsycakes. We’re in total agreement with Shannon when asked what our favorite part of this beautiful wedding is: all the sparkle!

Natives of Los Angeles, Michelle and Miguel wanted a spot for their wedding that didn’t feel like typical LA. The Legendary Park Plaza Hotel was the perfect venue for that, with its dramatic staircases, ceilings, and windows. The Dainty Lion helped Michelle and Miguel plan a celebration that was uniquely theirs, which included lush peony bouquets, baby’s breath topiaries, and pretty blooms in glass vases along tables peppered with gold sequin linens. Bridesmaids in taupe dresses were elegant, especially standing next to Michelle in a lace and tulle Pronovias gown from Bellasposa. We love Michelle’s blue Badgley Mischka shoes with sparkling brooches! Romantic touches such as floral stationery from Wedding Paper Divas and feather accents on place settings matches the drama of the location! A dessert table at the reception featured macaroons from Sweet and Saucy Shop, topped off with a cake designed by Hotcakes Bakes. We’re swooning over every detail in these photos from Love, Janet Photography!

The always elegant setting of Beaulieu Garden in Rutherford, California, proved to be the perfect location for Danielle and Tomas’s Napa Valley wedding. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception held beneath weaving grapevines and crystal chandeliers, the rule of the day was simplicity. Classic ivory, pink, and blush florals by Cherries were lush while the monochromatic scheme kept them understated. Julie Mikos Photographer captured gorgeous details such as the blush pink ruched Monique Lhuillier bridesmaids dresses and Danielle’s column gown with lace touches by Annasul Y. We love the watercolor details on stationery by Wedding Paper Divas and the blend of rustic and sophisticated decor helmed by Dee Merz. The cake festooned with fresh blooms by Perfect Endings is, indeed, the perfect ending to this amazing affair—see it all in the gallery!

What a vision Camille and Greg’s Park City destination wedding is! The breathtaking backdrop of the mountains at The St. Regis Deer Valley is incredibly romantic, and combined with the unexpected lavender details it’s completely stunning. Pretty pink and purple flowers, studded with a cactus here and there, from Petal are lovely and complement the lavender Amsale bridesmaids dresses, the colors a subtle nod to the Mardi Gras elements Camille and Greg wove into their day. Camille’s elaborate Somsi Couture gown is worthy of a parade, and we adore the blush colored Valentino heels she paired with it. Our favorite part of the entire day’s decor may just be the way rustic elements like burlap and birchwood are so elegantly mixed with sterling silver—especially the stand holding a classic cake from Snow Park Bakery—and rich woods. Oh, we do love a playful theme around here, and Valerie and Michael’s wedding doesn’t disappoint! We love these happy images from Alders Photography, especially the ones centered around the Ferris wheel and oversize balloons! We also adore the drama of strands of lights hanging from the trees during the couple’s outdoor ceremony at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Mulberry Row weaved together arrangements of pink and green flowers dotted with succulents for a slightly rustic feel, and bridesmaids wore sweet pink dresses by Bill Levkoff that complemented the florals. Valerie stunned in a St. Patrick gown from Karoza Bridal. Continuing the carnival theme at the reception, the couple opted for fun touches like popcorn and a cotton candy cart from Dolly’s Sweet Dreams Cotton Candy, along with a simple cake from Nikol Nakamura. And we can’t leave out a nod to Mindy Roderick Weddings & Events, who pulled together this flawless affair—see it all in the gallery!

What a picture-perfect Los Angeles wedding Lynn and Steve had! We’d never guess this pretty pink and white affair is set in the heart of LA, with soft blooms from Stems Florist festooning the setting at Maguire Gardens, where the ceremony was held, and Cafe Pinot, site of the reception! Our friends at Minted contributed elegant stationery, and Caroline of Serenity Events helped Lynn and Steve coordinate the day of the wedding. Bridesmaids wore short light pink dresses from J.Crew, the perfect complement to Lynn’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. And we can’t leave out Steve, handsome in a Black by Vera Wang suit! We love the mod look of Lynn’s silver snakeskin Jimmy Choo heels, too. The outdoor soiree offered plenty of great natural light for Esther Sun to photograph it perfectly. We hear at the end of the night, Lynn and Steve surprised guests with a visit from the In-N-Out Burger Cookout Trailer—a delicious finish to the flawless event! See it all in the gallery!

Jill and David’s elegant San Diego wedding is intimate and family-oriented, and that makes for some gorgeous, laid-back smiles in these photos from Samuel Lippke Studios. Jill, naturally, takes center stage in a lace gown from Claire Pettibone—always a stunning choice! The outdoor ceremony is punctuated by classic all white bouquets by LaVonne Crawford of Adorations Botanical Artistry. At the reception at The Grand Del Mar, styled by Thomas Bui Lifestyle, shimmering beaded garland hanging in trees, silvery-gray linens, and plenty of lush white blooms and candlelight create a romantic atmosphere. We are absolutely swooning over this entire affair—see it all in the gallery!

Beverly and Nelson went for all-out glamour when planning their oceanside nuptials at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in California! This affair is made complete by the hundreds of blush, cream, and pink blooms fashioned by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist. To complement the sweet hues, bridesmaids wore lavender one-shoulder dresses from Banana Republic. Beverly’s Lazaro gown is hands-down one of the most stunning we’ve ever laid eyes on, with ruffles and beading and details for days! The whimsical jewel-encrusted butterflies adoring her Aruna Seth shoes are fun and elegant. Platinum Weddings by Kerrie assisted Beverly and Nelson so that the day was everything they hoped for, and after looking at these photos from Sarah K. Chen Photography, we wouldn’t change a thing! We love the mix of Dallas style in Rachael and Cam’s Santa Barbara destination wedding! The entire affair is equal parts California mod and Southern sophisticated, starting with Rachael’s contemporary column-style Amsale gown. But to offset the crisp lines, she chose soft white peonies and hydrangeas for florals by Juniper Designs. We also really like the look of black-and-white striped ribbon around bridesmaids bouquets, paired with their taupe Bari Jay dresses. The outdoor ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore, Santa Barbara, before guests entered the hotel’s Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club for an indoor/outdoor reception. Events by Philippe ensured the details were perfect, like gold sequined linens atop cocktail tables, dramatic flower topiary centerpieces, and tailored striped chair cushions on Chiavari chairs to mimic the wedding details. The gold cake prepared by the resort is the perfect send-off for this elegant bash! We adore all of these spectacular images from the amazing Hazelnut Photography!

The best part of weaving elegant wedding details into a rustic setting is the sophistication of the combo, and that’s why we adore Jennifer and Barry’s Palm Springs affair! The Historic Cree Estate is a romantic spot for an outdoor ceremony and reception. Tend Living mixed branch elements and curly willow into bouquets wrapped with lace that really pop against the peach bridesmaids dresses Jennifer chose. We especially love the nature-inspired flower arrangement thoughtfully placed next to a classic cake from Over the Rainbow Cupcakes. Working with The Bride and I, Jennifer and Barry planned a stunning reception, complete with long tables topped with burlap and lace accents, and uber-chic gold china and flatware. Of course, the stars of the day were Jennifer, in her appliqued strapless St. Patrick gown—simply breathtaking—and Barry, so dapper in his tux! We are smitten with the lovely details of Kristen and Kevin’s Los Angeles wedding at the Skirball Cultural Center! Lush pink and white flowers from G Fiori Floral Design are soft and pretty against Kristen’s Anne Barge gown from The White Dress. The ribbon and rhinestone belt of the gown was the inspiration for the gray bridesmaids dresses from J.Crew. Tall pink and green topiary arrangements and a dessert table filled with sweets surrounds a tall white confection from Cake Crumbs have us drooling.
