Sweet + Romantic Park Engagement

The heart of Ellen and Tom’s engagement session with Jordan Brittley—and their dog, Rocky—is a sweet and romantic picnic set in Forest Park in St. Louis. We love the pretty, low-key arrangement of tulips and hydrangeas, purchased at Trader Joe’s and hand-tied by Ellen’s mom. The gold leaf monogram topper by Crosswire Design adds an elegant touch to the Derby Day Pie Ellen made; the first taste of this dessert is what won Tom over in the beginning! We’re big fans of the vintage feel of these photos, aided in part by floral Ralph Lauren china—real plates on a picnic, swoon!—and linens from Cake Vintage Table & Home. Enjoy these lovely images!

Romantic Green + Gold Outdoor Wedding

Stella and Tim’s Rochester, Minnesota, wedding is filled with romance and charm, and the sweet details shine through in these sweet images from Laura Ivanova Photography! Tim’s parents officiated the outdoor ceremony at Mayowood Stone Barn, where Stella and Tim stood beneath a canopy of trees to recite their vows. Stella’s bridesmaids wore some of our favorite bridesmaids dresses ever—elegant and chic gold halter-style dresses by French Connection. Stella’s gorgeous appliqued gown from BHLDN is simple but stunning, complemented by the roses and anemones in her bouquet by Summer Harsh Botanical Artistry. Inside the stone and brick reception site, slightly rustic peach and cream décor is a pretty backdrop for lunch and a cake dessert table featuring confections from Cakes by Jan. Thanks to Jennifer Dunwell Orton of Premier Planning Services, not a single detail was overlooked in this lovely affair! Ooh and aah over all of the gorgeous images in the gallery!

Dreamy Brooklyn Wedding with Flowing Flowers and Hints of Citrus

Sarah and Scott originally had a large celebration planned, but like many other brides, COVID changed that. In a cautious manner they decided to move forward with their wedding with just their 12 closest family and friends. Despite the small guest count, the design aspect was large. Their outdoor ceremony took place surrounded by banyan trees under the most stunning Chuppah. Reception was followed with the most divine tent with flowing florals and hints of citrus.

Perfectly Pink Fairy-Tale Wedding in Romania

Sarah & Benjamin wanted guests to feel like they were entering a magical world when they arrived at their wedding and the day was full of awe-inspiring details which made that vision a reality. From getting married at the castle-like Wonderland Cluj Resort, to the horse-drawn carriage fit for royalty, to the show-stopping, jaw-droppingly lush, floor-to-ceiling florals by Elena Bodea – Las Floristas that filled both the ceremony and reception, guests were transported into a fairy tale for the day. Add to that that these two look like they walked out of a magazine themselves, and this may be one of the most dreamy weddings ever! The gallery is full of more incredible photos by Ioana Porav Photography, from the stunning rose petal seals on the stationery by Invogue Art, to Sarah’s romantic Milla Nova wedding gown (a nod to her Hispanic roots), to even more photos of their unbelievable florals, and trust us, you absolutely want to see them all!

Timeless Conservatory Wedding with Neutral Colors

When you find out that Christine and Michael’s guest list consisted of family from 19 different states, you’ll wonder like us how they accommodated every single one of them. They happened upon Morristown, New Jersey because of its proximity to major airports and train stations: a huge plus. What they really lucked out on was The Madison Hotel-Conservatory. Cassi Claire Photography captured the breathtaking venue and its high glass walls, stark white interior with a slight industrial vibe, and the abundance of flowers already perched inside. The couple wanted to keep their colors simple, so they opted for a classic color palette so as not to detract from the conservatory itself. Apple Blossom Flower Shop created pieces with white flowers front and center and heaps of greenery strewn throughout, from the bouquets to the centerpieces. Check out local conservatories for their wedding availability; they are usually decked out in impressive flora and fauna already and are such a unique option for wedding venues.

Timeless DC Wedding with Shades of Green

Almost instantly, a wedding in Washington, DC has visions of ultimate grandeur. Jen and Nick wed in the early spring at the Four Seasons and they left no stone unturned when it came to the ins and outs of their wedding design. Jen’s favorite blooms are the ever-stunning and lush magnolias and with that color inspiration as their jumping point, they coveted a white/ivory and green wedding with gold accents. Florist Amy from Amy Lauren Floral Designs expressed and continued the color palette by using sumptuous white peonies and white roses along with the glossy magnolia leaves. This wedding has too many impeccable elements to it, both in design and in personality. We’re just glad that Kristen Gardner captured all the splendor in full!

Elegant New Orleans Wedding at Maison Montegut

Elena and Jonathan’s wedding vision was “Grace Kelly does New Orleans” and wow, did they deliver! With classic, timeless elements inspired by her grandmother’s wedding and a palette of soft blues and mustard yellow, their New Orleans wedding at Maison Montegut pays homage to their families while creating a chic and sophisticated atmosphere. Emily Sullivan Events made sure the day went off without a hitch, and Poppy and Mint created florals with vibrant pops of yellow to accent the fresh greenery of the courtyard reception. Their day is beautifully captured by Mon Soleil Weddings!

Classic Indianapolis Wedding at Scottish Rite Cathedral

The word ‘beautiful’ barely does justice for this Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding, photographed by Danielle Harris Photography! Patia and George envisioned a quintessentially classic wedding in the heart of Indianapolis. The Scottish Rite Cathedral, with its richly appointed ballroom, was decked out from head to toe with lush greenery and overflowing blooms in vases that the couple collected in the year leading up to their wedding. The beautiful patina of the blue and white pottery paired with the spectacular space makes for a stunning affair that we know you’re going to adore!

Glamorous Wedding at the Ringling Museum

Sarasota’s Ringling Museum is an absolutely spectacular setting. Elizabeth and Robert selected the stately courtyard for their ceremony and reception, and the gorgeous sculptures only added to the elegant blush and cream decor designed by NK Productions Wedding Planning and Elegant Designs Floral Art Studio. The Ringling holds a special place in the couple’s hearts, as it was one of the first places in Sarasota Elizabeth visited before her parents moved to Florida, and during Robert’s romantic proposal on an early morning jet ski ride, they first passed by the Ca’ d’Zan before he proposed during a walk on a private sandbar. To create their wedding style, Elizabeth first selected a mix of bridesmaids dresses in shades of blue, and mixed metallics and blush to create a unique combination of vintage and glamorous. Her gown, a beaded Alon Livne White creation, was the third she tried on, and a perfect balance of classic and vintage. Each detail from the metallic brushing on the cake by The Cake Zone to the abundance of twinkling lights from Affairs In The Air is completely magical and captured beautifully by Tiffani Jones!

Lush Garden Wedding in Los Angeles

Erin and David selected the elegant Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara for their July nuptials. Erin was inspired by the idea of a Southern garden—lush, lively, and romantic—and worked with Precious & Blooming to craft a “perfectly imperfect” feel, mixing white, ivory, and light gold blooms, surrounded by swaths of greenery. After a showstopping ceremony set around the lily pond with a dramatic altar draped with fabric and dressed with greenery, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with “Babes and Bombers” cocktails (a nod to their softball team) and a Polaroid guest book, before moving inside the ballroom for the reception, where they danced the night away to the tunes of Gold Standard. Erin shares “The end of the night was one of my favorite memories. There was a grand piano in our venue and our best man, Matthew Walker, started playing. Everyone gathered around and sang along with him to “Rocket Man” while I sat on the piano, straight out of an old movie. At the top of the chorus, everyone would through petals in the air, making the most incredible smelling confetti.” We are smitten with every gorgeous image from Jillian Rose Photography!

Florida Waterside Wedding

Vero Beach’s Quail Valley River Club sits along the Indian River and made for a picturesque setting for Kim and Drew’s Florida wedding! With a fresh color palette of ivory, green, and gold, their wedding was equal parts waterside preppy and clean-and-classic! The couple both grew up in Vero Beach, but didn’t connect until they were living in NYC, so celebrating at home in Florida with both their Florida and NYC friends and family was special. Kim, her best friend Jen, and her mother-in-law Glen (an artist) worked together to create the stationery, with a laurel wreath emblem hand-painted by Glen, who also created the husband and wife chair signs for the reception. The chic and modern aesthetic of the day carried through to the fashion, and we are head over heels for Kim’s bridal ensemble of Karen Willis Holmes separates, Alexis Bittar earrings, and relaxed waves styled by Haute Dry. Ivory J.Crew and Amsale frocks for the maids were accented with bouquets of lisianthus, astilbe, rose, and greenery from Lara’s Theme. Not to be outdone, Drew donned a navy suit from Combatant Gentlemen and bow tie from Fox & Brie. Prepare to be transported to paradise in the beautiful images from Charlie Juliet Photography!

Sophisticated New England Country Club Wedding

Rebecca and Cory were married on a spectacular August day at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire. The couple selected a pretty, neutral palette of cream, gold, and blush, and after a ceremony along the water, moved inside the nearby reception tent for an evening of celebration with their nearest and dearest. Inspired by the waterside setting, the couple incorporated subtle seaside details into their wedding, including adorable oyster shell place cards with calligraphy by Honey Honey Calligraphy. Flower Kiosk created a mix of garland and traditional centerpieces with soft hydrangea and roses, and our favorite detail may just be the romantic swaths of greenery on the bride and groom’s chairs! The I Do Scene made sure that the day was more perfect than Rebecca and Cory could ever hope for, and every detail came together to create a day they will never forget. Enjoy each beautiful image from Rachel Red Photography!

Elegant Santa Barbara Wedding

Katie and Collin’s Santa Barbara wedding is complete and total perfection. The couple was engaged in Jackson Square in New Orleans, and they brought the Big Easy to the West Coast, where they currently live. Their oceanside ceremony was followed by a traditional Second Line, and they danced the night away to Louis Armstrong. Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore is a lush oasis, and the couple worked with Central Coast Memory Makers to bring their vision of traditional elegance to life. Precious and Blooming Floral brought a touch of the South to the arrangements, adding magnolia leaves to the florals. The beautiful greenery brings out the beauty of the surroundings. Every single image from Rebekah Westover Photography is utterly stunning!

Brooklyn Warehouse Wedding

There simply isn’t one single thing we don’t adore about Jen and Jesse’s modern Brooklyn wedding. Rather than a formal dinner, the couple chose to enjoy a progressive cocktail party with their guests, a perfect mix of formality and casualness. Liberty Warehouse set the perfect scene with its industrial aesthetic. The organic greenery from Violet and Verde highlighted the brick, wood, and metal throughout the venue. As if their locale couldn’t get more breathtaking, Jen’s father created a wooden altar from scratch that, paired with Violet and Verde‘s floral, made an exquisite and personal ceremony backdrop. Jen is a vision in her Blush by Hayley Paige dress from The White Gown and the bridesmaids’ dresses add just the right pop of color. Even their choice of wedding date is perfection—they were married on Loving Day, the anniversary of the overturning of the criminalization of interracial marriage in the US. We know that you’ll join with us in falling head over heels for every sweet moment as captured by Kat Harris Photography!

Classic Handcrafted Virginia Wedding

Brent and Lydia were married on a glorious Virginia spring day. After a ceremony at Church of Our Savior at Oatland’s Plantation (where the couple went on their second date, and where he proposed), the celebration continued at The Hillsborough Vineyard. Theirs is a wedding which gives a nod to the traditional, but was peppered with intimate and personal details throughout. Not a detail was left unfinished, from the scent of the church to the favor signs. Lydia, a talented artist, hand-painted the illustrations for the place cards, programs, favor tags, and table signs, which were named after significant places in the couple’s relationship. The day couldn’t have come together without the help of family. Lydia’s aunt handmade the gorgeous blue toile tablecloths as well as Lydia’s stunning veil, while Lydia’s parents opened their home to those visiting for the wedding. We’re positively in love with Lydia’s gown, a vintage piece purchased by her grandmother for her mother. Loose flowers and greenery designed by Melle Fleur echoed the day’s palette of aqua, blue, and green. The overall effect of all of the planning is ladylike and elegant, and is beautifully captured in these images from Sarah Bradshaw Photography!

Classic Memphis Garden Wedding

It doesn’t get more beautiful than an enchanting garden setting, classic wedding details, and gorgeous photography, and Amanda and John’s wedding has each in spades! The elegant Annesdale Mansion and its lush grounds was the backdrop for their Memphis garden soiree. The stately mansion provided inspiration for the decor by Angela Mazanti Designs, which featured lush greenery and pretty pastel hydrangea. Amanda is positively regal in a lace Anne Barge gown and Untamed Petals veil, highlighted by loose chic waves by Janice Allen. We adore each beautiful image from Ashley Upchurch Photography!

Rustic California Garden Wedding

Cheyenne and John’s lovely wedding at The Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, California, is an earthy but elegant interpretation of the local scenery, with garden florals by Studio Choo and a ceremony beneath a canopy of lush green trees. Continuing with the bohemian spirit of the day, Cheyenne’s matron of honor and solo bridesmaid chose their own dresses from J.Crew and Free People, while Cheyenne stunned in a column-style lace gown from Atelier des Modistes. We love the green garland details on Cheyenne and John’s stationery from Painted Tongue Studios and menu cards from Fairmount Creates, which ties in with the rustic look of the venue. Events by Satra helped the couple coordinate the day, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Organic touches like seed packet favors and loose arrangements in gold and green reinforced the laid-back elegance of the affair, creating a cozy ambience. We are loving every single image from Matthias Photography!

Cream and pink florals from MCK Designs dot tables for the reception, which also included elegant crystal and silver details for a classic affair that shines in these images from Lisa Hessel Photography. We love the sparkler exit to a vintage getaway car—a classic ending to a gorgeous day!

How dreamy is the romantic setting of Chiles Peach Orchard in Virginia? We are swooning over every single ethereal detail in this shoot from Jen Fariello Photography and Jeannine Smith of Be Loved! To say we adore the vintage accessories—borrowed from Miss Homebody Designs and Mallon and Bennett Antiques—would be an understatement. The Maliha Creations cake is perfection festooned with peach blossoms sitting atop the rustic buffet table, and swaths of tule, floral ribbons, and vintage books round out the classic feel of this lovely setup! As if the blooming trees weren’t enough, earthy and elegant pink flowers by Southern Blooms create swoon-worthy bouquets. We’re simply dying over the Champagne bridesmaids dress from J.Crew and the stunning Kevan Hall White Label gown from Soliloquy Bridal Couture. The bride looks like a princess in both a floral hairpiece by Southern Blooms and a mantilla veil from Melinda Rose! Just try to choose a favorite from these gorgeous images!

Pretty Peach + Navy Wedding

I was smitten from the moment I laid eyes upon Ashley and Taylor’s wedding! Every little nuance is perfection—from Ashley’s chic sideswept braid and floral crown to the mismatched peach and cream Tommy Hilfiger bridesmaids dresses and Taylor’s navy Express suit—and the navy, peach, and cream palette is lovely! Blossom Sweet created lush bouquets and centerpieces of roses, sweet pea, berries, and hydrangea, and not one but two gorgeous bridal crowns: a ceremony wreath of baby’s breath and reception crown to match the florals. Sleepy Ridge Golf Course was the beautiful reception setting, which was anchored by sweeping tulle garlands adorning the ceiling and floods of natural light. Ashley would love to to re-live her wedding daily, and we can certainly see why. We just adore all of the lovely images from Rebekah Westover Photography!

Stephanie and George’s Kansas City, Missouri, wedding is just spilling over with glamour and sophistication! From the beautiful brass vases to the elegant black Amsale bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bridesmaid, this whole affair is perfect. Leigh Miller Photography captured sweet images of the couple and all the details they included, like gorgeous programs by Katie Ann Design and lush bouquets of roses and hydrangeas, as well as a few magnolia leaf swags—a nod to George’s native Mississippi—by Good Earth Floral Design Studio. After the ceremony at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, guests headed over to Carriage Club for an evening of fun that included lots of dancing—we can only imagine how fabulous the skirt of Stephanie’s Enzoani gown looked swirling to the music of the Michael Beers Band. We love this wedding and its beautiful, deep gold and green color palette for winter!

Elegant + Classic Ballroom Wedding

Lovely is the only word that comes close to adequately describing Laura and Kevin’s St. Louis wedding at Coronado Ballroom. Soft pastel blooms such as roses and hydrangeas by Tina Barerra of The Special Event Florist created a romantic atmosphere at the ceremony and reception. Simply and Forever helped Laura and Kevin plan the day, which the couple wanted to be “classy, elegant, and full of personality.” The gorgeous coral color of Laura’s single bridesmaid dress from Amsale is statement-making simplicity at its finest. Along with her column-style Monique Lhuillier gown, Laura carried a hand-tied bouquet of garden roses, mini calla lilies, spray roses, and ranunculus. We love the unique touches woven into the reception, too, like circular dinner menus from Two Blue Doors and a simple cake with a classic monogram, provided by the Coronado. Enjoy all of these gorgeous images from the ever-fabulous Clary Pfeiffer Fine Art Photographer.

Chic Blue + Cream Wedding

Blaire and Charlie’s wedding is so refreshing and beautiful! We love the soft tones of the blue-gray bridesmaids dresses by Jim Hjelm and cream and green bouquets from Steven Mueller Florist. Blaire’s Christos gown looks like something out of a fairy tale, with long lace sleeves and a lush tulle skirt. And we’re dying over her lace booties by Harriet Wilde! Blaire and Charlie blended the best of both worlds, with a traditional ceremony at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Illinois, and an off-site reception at the World’s Fair Pavilion in St. Louis that featured charming and modern touches. Lace linens and soft florals are sophisticated and romantic; and we just love the gold layer on the wedding cake from Sugaree Baking Company—it’s the perfect showy detail on an otherwise classic cake! There are oh-so-many photos to love from Clary Photo so run, don’t walk, to the gallery!

Americana Decor + Fashion Inspiration

How fun is this pink-red, white, and blue shoot from Heather Roth Fine Art Photography? Just in time to celebrate Presidents Day, Becky Huffman Flowers and Kristin Ashley Events joined forces to bring us these vintage Americana wedding ideas. Ticking-striped linens and lush pink, blue, and white flowers fill a rustic but sophisticated table that softly chants USA! We absolutely want to steal the bouquet idea—shades of pink, blue, and white wrapped in silk and tied with a trail of ribbon streamers. A rustic dessert table filled with treats from Britt Beaugard is picture-perfect in front of an old barn. By far our favorite part is the fashion: Bella Bridesmaid dresses paired with a vintage peach frock with a tulle skirt—simply fab! Happy Presidents Day!

Alison—in a Lazaro gown with an accordion-pleated skirt—and James held a traditional church ceremony, complete with pale pink and white flowers from Sisters Floral Design Studio, before wowing guests with their beautiful reception. Held at Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel in Missouri, the decor coordinated by Proposing Dreams Weddings—featuring pale blues, pinks, and white—made for an ethereal environment in which to celebrate. The Cakery provided a sweet treat for guests who danced the night away to tunes spun by Rockstar DJs. We love every stunning detail!

Jacquelyn and Ryan’s wedding wasn’t just timeless and elegant. It was filled with personalized details that gave a nod to the couple’s relationship, and Clary Photo was there to capture every precious detail. The bride asked The Rebel Florist to fill bouquets and centerpieces with plush peonies because the park in which Ryan proposed was filled with the blooms. They wed inside the Missouri History Museum, beneath a classic white chuppah. For favors, the couple gave a donation to PAWS in honor of their adopted German Shepherd, Moose—each guest found a picture of the pup and a note from the couple at their place setting!
