Chic Saint-Tropez Wedding

Once in a while, a wedding comes that is so sublimely stunning that my breath catches and my heart skips a beat. Silvia and Henning’s wedding at Masseria Potenti is just so. The Manduria resort is ever so lovely, an Italian oasis that was the perfect setting for the couple’s sophisticated, modern wedding. The couple worked with Chic Weddings in Italy to create a wedding in keeping with Italian traditions, but with a modern flair. Herbs and dried florals were festooned above the farmhouse-style tables adorned with centerpieces by Chic Weddings in Italy. We adore the customized food stalls for the aperitif, the printed linen seating plan and table numbers, and the organic way that the wedding blended into the gorgeous surroundings. Les Amis Photo outdid themselves with the spectacular images and cinema, and we are completely head over heels!

With any outdoor wedding ceremony in Florida you have to have a rain plan, which was the case for Taylor and Jacob’s Alfond Inn wedding. What was meant to be a garden style ceremony on the lawn, was moved into the atrium due to weather. But, that didn’t stop the garden vibes.

Lindsey grew up in Northern Michigan and met her now husband Richard in Leland where they worked at a local lodge in the summer. When they fell in love and were engaged, they knew that Northern Michigan had to be the location for their wedding.

Like many couples of 2020, Anjali and Sam had to get creative with their wedding planning because of COVID. For the safety of their guests, they decided to have their wedding ceremony in the bride’s aunt’s garden at sunset for an intimate and romantic celebration. The ceremony arch by Ellamah Floral was the star of the show and the perfect backdrop for the backyard nuptials. It was a whole family effort, with the groom’s uncle officiated the touching ceremony. Sarah & Benjamin wanted guests to feel like they were entering a magical world when they arrived at their wedding and the day was full of awe-inspiring details which made that vision a reality. From getting married at the castle-like Wonderland Cluj Resort, to the horse-drawn carriage fit for royalty, to the show-stopping, jaw-droppingly lush, floor-to-ceiling florals by Elena Bodea – Las Floristas that filled both the ceremony and reception, guests were transported into a fairy tale for the day. Add to that that these two look like they walked out of a magazine themselves, and this may be one of the most dreamy weddings ever! Although Meagan and Christian live and met in Connecticut, the couple made the endearing choice to wed in Christian’s home state of Michigan. Meagan initially had her heart set on a farm wedding, but once she laid her eyes on Planterra, Meagan knew they had found the venue for their November wedding. They kept the color palette in line with the conservatory’s own tropical feel, choosing bridesmaids dresses from Madeline’s Daughter in sage green. Florals like white ranunculus, polo roses, and secret garden roses alongside feather eucalyptus and jasmine vine created an eden for the newlyweds and their guests. Our favorite detail, though, has to be the oversized white balloons added to the tables at the reception. Meagan wanted a unique detail that really stood out and we’re so glad Kelly Sweet Photography was able to capture that and all of the other gorgeous details of this wedding so beautifully!

Meg and Ned envisioned their Connecticut wedding to be simple and elegant and with their fête being held in the middle of summer indoors, the possibilities were truly endless for them; which meant that Cassi Claire Photography was going to be in photography heaven with the amount of subjects to photograph. Shore Haven Golf Club was transformed with delicate colors and throughout the venue, a soft pale pink with the ever-popular complimentary colors of gold, white, gray, and navy blue were dotted all throughout. The key to really executing a plethora of colors together is to keep the palette simple, starting with an overall, main color that works effortlessly with the rest of them (like what Meg and Ned did with white). Utilize the rest of the color choices and pepper them all over the wedding in various areas. The blooms by Flowers by Justine were perfectly pink and white with a mix of gray planters and tall gold column stands and the groom and groomsmen were dapper in blue. A four-or-five color palette can be daunting, but with a little know-how and creativity, the shades will harmoniously work well together.

Almost instantly, a wedding in Washington, DC has visions of ultimate grandeur. Jen and Nick wed in the early spring at the Four Seasons and they left no stone unturned when it came to the ins and outs of their wedding design. Jen’s favorite blooms are the ever-stunning and lush magnolias and with that color inspiration as their jumping point, they coveted a white/ivory and green wedding with gold accents. Florist Amy from Amy Lauren Floral Designs expressed and continued the color palette by using sumptuous white peonies and white roses along with the glossy magnolia leaves. This wedding has too many impeccable elements to it, both in design and in personality. We’re just glad that Kristen Gardner captured all the splendor in full!

Janine and Mike chose Woodbridge Township’s stunning Ariana’s Grand for their reception venue, and the venue was perfect for their clean and ethereal wedding vision! To keep their wedding timeless, Flowers by Bernard filled their reception with swaths of greenery and mixed metals, accented by succulents and acrylic elements for a modern touch. Janine’s late grandmother was named Rosalie, and they honored her by sprinkling roses throughout the arrangements. When you fall in love with your wedding venue, you just know, no matter what your plans originally were. Amanda and Vlad planned for a Colorado wedding, but they never knew what hit them as they stepped foot onto Bella Collina’s stunning grounds in Florida. Reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside, it was love at first sight for the duo and it just jived so well with their romantic wedding vision that we get to fawn over thanks to Kristen Weaver Photography‘s epic photos. The white florals and greenery by Lee James Floral looked resplendent against the venue’s landscape, but no matter how glorious the blooms looked, it just couldn’t compare to Amanda and Vlad looking like a million bucks. They stole the show, for sure!

Lera and Nick hail from Manchester but chose to celebrate with friends and family from around the world in Tuscany at the gorgeous Poggio Piglia. The villa, with its breathtaking views of olive groves and the Tuscan hills, provided a perfect setting. The ceremony was held overlooking the countryside and officiated by one of the couple’s close friends, and the poolside reception featured lovely olive leaf details in the natural florals created by Stiatti Fiori. As they were planning from a distance, the couple worked with Nazym Kombarova of Bianco Weddings who allowed them to sit back and relax and enjoy their special day with nary a worry or care! The stunning Condado Vanderbilt Hotel San Juan, Puerto Rico hosted Karen and Nick’s intimate destination wedding, planned from afar by enlisting the help of AMK Events! Karen says “Anne Marie made planning our wedding a dream and connected us with such a fantastic team of professionals”, including the fabulous Anabelle Barranco of STEM Events! The event was relaxed but romantic, with bridesmaids in white gowns of their own choosing, and Karen is a positively exquisite Anna Maier gown with intricate beading and chic short sleeves. The entire day was a family affair, with the couple’s youngest son walking Karen down the aisle to Nick, and their eldest throwing rose petals. Karen’s family is from Puerto Rico, and her aunt created a traditional Puerto Rican wedding cake, and even a second cake with guava filling that had guests lining up for more! Ashley and Tate are head-over-heels in love, their laughter endless, and their classic winter wedding in the Northwoods of Wisconsin is overflowing with love and joy! The couple both wanted a traditional wedding, with a sophisticated style and simple color palette. They chose Wausau’s Rothschild Pavilion to play host, and selected a color palette of black, white, and gold, with a mix of winter blooms for bouquets and fresh greenery for the reception, featuring a dramatic king’s table and swaths of white draping from the pavilion’s ceiling. Ashley donned her grandmother’s vintage gown for their ceremony and changed into a custom silk gown by Monirose Bespoke Bridal for the reception. Classic black tuxedos and black bridesmaids’ dresses of the maids’ choosing completed the elegant winter look. Wisconsin winter is magical, and we adore the images by Natashia Nicole Photography!

As wedding photographers themselves, Andie and Tony are surrounded by celebrations. When it came time to plan their own, a winter wedding was only natural, as they began dating in the winter and Tony proposed to Andie in the winter! Maryland’s Silver Swan Bayside was the perfect setting to showcase their color palette of white and green with pops of burgundy. Though their wedding was held in December, they didn’t want decor that was overtly Christmas-y, but instead had touches of the holiday, such as evergreen trees, gold details, and even Andie’s Martina Liana gown, with detailing reminiscent of snowflakes! Cascading greenery, candlelight, and a snow-flurried send-off is a winter wedding lover’s dream, and their special day is captured beautifully by Molly Lichten Photography!

Emmalee and Nicolaus were married at a beautiful little church in the small town of Eggi, Italy. After a wedding in the California Wine Country wasn’t quite coming together, Nicolaus suggested a destination wedding and the quaint Villa Campo Verde was a perfect choice for their intimate guest list and traditional style. The couple selected a color palette of white, ivory, and green to complement the natural surroundings, and chose to focus on giving themselves and their guests the full Italian experience, from the curated gift basket from Marigold & Grey to the favors of local olive oil. The walk from the ceremony at Chiesa Di Michele Arcangelo to the villa took the wedding party through town, and the townspeople provided their well wishes along the way, a moment that Emmalee and Nicolaus are sure to treasure forever. April and Michael’s intimate wedding at Denver’s Halcyon Hotel is full of classic and modern touches! The Halcyon is a cozy boutique hotel, and their 68 guests were a perfect fit, ensuring that the couple could celebrate and chat with each of their closest family and friends throughout the evening. April selected a timeless, slim-fitting Nicole Miller gown from BHLDN, accentuating with a veil handmade by A Busy Mother and pretty pink Badgley Mischka shoes. Her bouquet by The Flower House Denver featuring snowy white blooms accentuated with anemones for a pop of black. Centerpieces of textured flowers, succulents, metallic elements, and lots of dreamy candles accentuated the reception ballroom at the Halcyon, with its dramatic dark details. Amy and Damian’s South Africa wedding is full of the most lovely florals and light, and we’re absolutely smitten. Designed and styled by Joelene of Oh Happy Day, the dusty pink and white palette perfectly showcased the Orchards Wedding Venue, a beautiful venue nestled in the rolling hills of the Caversham Valley. Adore Weddings created spectacular florals of blush and white blooms and greenery, including a suspended greenery ceiling arrangement, organic arm bouquet, gorgeous ceremony arch, and low and lush centerpieces that paired beautifully with silken runners, depression glass chargers, and taper candles. Each design element is thoughtfully curated and woven together to create an elegant and modern look that is also wonderfully relaxed and chic. Amy is resplendent in a sophisticated Casey Jeanne gown, and her maids donned flowing pink dresses from Chanelle Wright. Megan and Joshua were married on a beautiful, sunny June day at the stunning Sunset Beach Hotel on Shelter Island. The idyllic New York getaway is reminiscent of a European seaport, with crystal blue waters. Their celebration was a true family affair, with their twins, Noah and Sydney, taking part in the ceremony—under a gorgeous chuppah by Bella Flowers—which commemorated their unification as a family. As the sun set behind the glistening water, guests enjoyed a perfect summer evening and danced the night away to The Gypsy Kings Tribute Band. Every moment of this heartfelt gathering was captured beautifully by Karen Hill Photography, and we are smitten!

The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills was the perfect venue for Julie and Jonathan’s dream wedding! With the help of their wedding planner, Catherine of CCL Weddings, the couple designed a private outdoor ceremony (featuring the couple’s adorable pup, Nala) and elegant indoor reception with lush and romantic florals by Heavenly Blooms. Luxury and personality came together perfectly, with champagne escort cards that doubled as favors and a cocktail hour snack of beef jerky, the groom’s favorite! Modern and sophisticated, Melissa and Michael’s Chicago wedding at Hotel Allegro captivated us from the moment we set eyes upon it! The couple worked with Bianca of Estera Events to bring their vision of a chic, contemporary spring wedding to life. Working with a sleek color palette of silver, white, green, and navy, the always-fabulous Fleur created arrangements with an assortment of candles and white peonies, hydrangea, tulips, and garden roses. Every element down to the gorgeous cake from Alliance Bakery featured snowy white blooms!
