The start of the year has is about fresh beginnings here at EAD and we are excited to announce that we have already welcomed 2015 with two new fabulous and insanely talented vendors! Charlie Juliet is our newest New York City wedding photographer who is inspired by color and design. While CJ photographs in an editorial fashion, through her own style, she loves to create timeless, natural, beautiful photos couples will forever cherish. We are also celebrating the addition of one of the most amazing floral designers, Wild Green Yonder. Lori is based in Ashburn, Virginia and specializes in weddings and special events. She favors a lush, garden-style aesthetic, is inspired by nature, and often incorporates wild-grown elements into her designs. With our fabulous vendor team expanding, we cannot wait to spend the next year sharing their work with you. In case you missed it, we started the week off with one of the prettiest real weddings that we can remember and ended the week with a serious dose of gorgeousness from this wedding! In between all the gorgeous details, we announced a fabulous giveaway with Josiah Morgan—enter here if you haven’t already—and we welcomed two new members aboard the EAD vendor guide! We are beaming with happiness as we introduced Lisa O’Dwyer to the guide! Lisa is a fine art film photographer obsessed with culture, art, travel, and style. She has been capturing love since 2006 and has a passion for traveling to Europe to photograph weddings in historic locations, but also loves to photograph weddings in beautiful outdoor locations in Colorado. The Paper Vow is about personal details, not only for each custom stationery design created, but with each bride-to-be. From simple to elegant to modern twists, they will find the right style for you to express your love story in a beautiful fashion that each guest will appreciate and adore!

As 2020 draws to a close and we usher in a new year with its new hopes and goals, there’s guaranteed to be quite a bit of celebrating around the world. And while our celebrations are sure to look different than they usually do, whether it’s a cozy night at home watching the virtual stream of the Times Square ball drop, or counting down over a zoom party with friends, there’s still nothing that marks a celebration more than with a good toast! Champagne or sparkling wine usually take centerstage during these moments, both in weddings and on New Year’s Eve, and there’s really no reason not to break out or break in some new glasses to start making memories now! So whether you’re toasting to a new name or a new year, here are some of our favorite glasses to help ring in the occasion!

Kristen and Daniel’s wedding day was filled to the brim with festivities and honored each of their family’s cultures with two separate wedding ceremonies! The celebration began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where the bride and groom served tea to each set of parents to show their respect and gratitude. Later in the day, Kristen changed from her vibrant red gown to a romantic lace BHLDN gown for a Jewish ceremony under a stunning chuppah decorated with blush, peach, and ivory roses and peonies by Holly Chapple Flowers. They ended the evening with dinner, dancing, and even a sparker send-off filled with cheers from all their closest friends and family. This weekend marks the official kickoff of summer and wedding season is in full swing. These summer wedding ideas will have you planning an unforgettable celebration in no time.

It’s Valentine’s Day, and as we all know, Valentine’s is meant to be enjoyed with the one(s) you love, so what better way to celebrate than with a fabulous Galentine’s Day brunch! Emily Elizabeth Events created this adorable “Girl Gang Gathering”, where she and several of her closest friends came together to sip, eat, chat, make Valentine’s Day cards, and create floral arrangements, and this is one party we wish we could attend! Pink and gold stationery from Paper Delights invited each lady to the gathering, where they were greeted with balloons festooning the entrance to Seattle’s Ollie Quinn and the most gorgeous tabletop with florals by Emily Elizabeth Events and dusty pink linens from La Tavola. We’re loving chic and modern details like acrylic standing mirrors, cut-out name place cards, and pink lip cookies, and the romance and elegance of the compote centerpieces, textured fabrics, and vintage trays displaying sips and bites. Galentine’s has never looked so fabulous and we are head over heels for every moment, captured beautifully on film by Blue Rose Photography!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we have been busy planning our tablescapes, dinner menu, and preparing for house guests and travel plans.
