Happy Friday! It is hard to believe that the weekend’s arrival is already upon us! This week was a beautiful breeze filled with gorgeous details and fun and inspiring goodness. We are just in love with the prettiness and are sending you into your beautiful weekend with the links we loved the most!

As 2020 draws to a close and we usher in a new year with its new hopes and goals, there’s guaranteed to be quite a bit of celebrating around the world. And while our celebrations are sure to look different than they usually do, whether it’s a cozy night at home watching the virtual stream of the Times Square ball drop, or counting down over a zoom party with friends, there’s still nothing that marks a celebration more than with a good toast! Champagne or sparkling wine usually take centerstage during these moments, both in weddings and on New Year’s Eve, and there’s really no reason not to break out or break in some new glasses to start making memories now! So whether you’re toasting to a new name or a new year, here are some of our favorite glasses to help ring in the occasion!

This weekend marks the official kickoff of summer and wedding season is in full swing. These summer wedding ideas will have you planning an unforgettable celebration in no time.

In college Kara had studied abroad in Florence, Italy and always dreamed that she would one day get married there. When she and Andrew first set eyes upon photos of Villa Gamberaia, they booked the venue sight unseen, but then ventured to Florence to meet with their planner, VB Events. The venue is full of rich history, from its world famous gardens to the sweeping views of the Tuscan countryside, so the couple chose natural colors and decor to highlight the villa’s natural beauty. Olive branches and natural wildflowers decorated the tables for the the indoor reception, and each couple was gifted a bottle of local olive oil to take home as favors, and each place setting included the traditional five Jordan almonds to signify five wishes for the couple: health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. Prepare to be transported to Tuscany and enjoy the absolutely breathtaking images from Stefano Santucci!

It’s Valentine’s Day, and as we all know, Valentine’s is meant to be enjoyed with the one(s) you love, so what better way to celebrate than with a fabulous Galentine’s Day brunch! Emily Elizabeth Events created this adorable “Girl Gang Gathering”, where she and several of her closest friends came together to sip, eat, chat, make Valentine’s Day cards, and create floral arrangements, and this is one party we wish we could attend! Pink and gold stationery from Paper Delights invited each lady to the gathering, where they were greeted with balloons festooning the entrance to Seattle’s Ollie Quinn and the most gorgeous tabletop with florals by Emily Elizabeth Events and dusty pink linens from La Tavola. We’re loving chic and modern details like acrylic standing mirrors, cut-out name place cards, and pink lip cookies, and the romance and elegance of the compote centerpieces, textured fabrics, and vintage trays displaying sips and bites. Galentine’s has never looked so fabulous and we are head over heels for every moment, captured beautifully on film by Blue Rose Photography!

Laura and Stephen, both physicians living in London, couldn’t think of anywhere more romantic to be married than the picturesque rolling hills of Tuscany. The couple selected Villa Medicea di Lilliano just outside of Florence—a working vineyard—for their destination wedding, and 100 of their nearest and dearest made the journey to Italy to celebrate! The feel of the day was low key but chic, and Jardin Divers enhanced the natural beauty of the surroundings with centerpieces of olive leaves and leafy, natural bouquets to accentuate the bridesmaids’ Ghost dresses and Laura’s Maggie Sottero gown. We’re simply smitten with each image by Stefano Santucci Studio!

We are so excited for the weekend, and even doubly excited for next two weeks as Ami will be spending the week with her fellow Aisle Society bloggers at the Sandals Royal Bahamian, and then headed to Washington, DC for an Aisle Society launch event! Hope to see all of our Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland wedding pro friends there!

There may be no more picturesque setting for Elinor and Adam’s romantic destination wedding than Tuscany’s Villa Di Corliano. The faded grandeur, trailing greenery, orange and lemon trees, and beautiful landscape made the most lovely backdrop for the June nuptials. The couple planned their wedding themselves, and enlisted Franci’s Flowers Florence to create elegant arrangements for ceremony and reception. A floral arch with burgundy peonies and pink roses was the altar for their vow exchange, and table centerpieces of coordinating florals were set in ornate gold chalices. We are positively spellbound by Elinor’s Grecian-style Jenny Packham gown from Lilya Grace. The bejeweled neckline is fitting for a princess! Transport yourself to Italy with the magical images from Stefano Santucci!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we have been busy planning our tablescapes, dinner menu, and preparing for house guests and travel plans.
