Happy weekend! We are in awe over the beauty that graced the EAD blog this week—like this romantic Rome elopement and classic ballroom affair! Did everyone do something fun for Cinco de Mayo? If not, this stunning shoot photographed by Camilla Binks will inspire a belated fiesta! Blooms and Company created a tabletop in the desert by mixing brightly colored florals and cacti with gorgeous aqua accents. Check out the adorable mini piñatas and the great chevron plates! My absolute favorite though is the absolutely breathtaking lace mantilla veil by Tessa Kim. So grab a little sip of tequila and enjoy this beautiful Mexican inspiration!

From tea dyed escort cards, mismatched antique wood chairs, and antique hutches filled with old books and flowers; pieces old and new were woven together to give this Cape Girardeau, Missouri wedding shoot, photographed by Untamed Heart Photography and styled by Katie Saeger of Simply and Forever, a vintage feel.

As 2020 draws to a close and we usher in a new year with its new hopes and goals, there’s guaranteed to be quite a bit of celebrating around the world. And while our celebrations are sure to look different than they usually do, whether it’s a cozy night at home watching the virtual stream of the Times Square ball drop, or counting down over a zoom party with friends, there’s still nothing that marks a celebration more than with a good toast! Champagne or sparkling wine usually take centerstage during these moments, both in weddings and on New Year’s Eve, and there’s really no reason not to break out or break in some new glasses to start making memories now! So whether you’re toasting to a new name or a new year, here are some of our favorite glasses to help ring in the occasion!

When you find out that Christine and Michael’s guest list consisted of family from 19 different states, you’ll wonder like us how they accommodated every single one of them. They happened upon Morristown, New Jersey because of its proximity to major airports and train stations: a huge plus. What they really lucked out on was The Madison Hotel-Conservatory. Cassi Claire Photography captured the breathtaking venue and its high glass walls, stark white interior with a slight industrial vibe, and the abundance of flowers already perched inside. The couple wanted to keep their colors simple, so they opted for a classic color palette so as not to detract from the conservatory itself. Apple Blossom Flower Shop created pieces with white flowers front and center and heaps of greenery strewn throughout, from the bouquets to the centerpieces. Check out local conservatories for their wedding availability; they are usually decked out in impressive flora and fauna already and are such a unique option for wedding venues.

Meg and Ned envisioned their Connecticut wedding to be simple and elegant and with their fête being held in the middle of summer indoors, the possibilities were truly endless for them; which meant that Cassi Claire Photography was going to be in photography heaven with the amount of subjects to photograph. Shore Haven Golf Club was transformed with delicate colors and throughout the venue, a soft pale pink with the ever-popular complimentary colors of gold, white, gray, and navy blue were dotted all throughout. The key to really executing a plethora of colors together is to keep the palette simple, starting with an overall, main color that works effortlessly with the rest of them (like what Meg and Ned did with white). Utilize the rest of the color choices and pepper them all over the wedding in various areas. The blooms by Flowers by Justine were perfectly pink and white with a mix of gray planters and tall gold column stands and the groom and groomsmen were dapper in blue. A four-or-five color palette can be daunting, but with a little know-how and creativity, the shades will harmoniously work well together.

This weekend marks the official kickoff of summer and wedding season is in full swing. These summer wedding ideas will have you planning an unforgettable celebration in no time.

It’s Valentine’s Day, and as we all know, Valentine’s is meant to be enjoyed with the one(s) you love, so what better way to celebrate than with a fabulous Galentine’s Day brunch! Emily Elizabeth Events created this adorable “Girl Gang Gathering”, where she and several of her closest friends came together to sip, eat, chat, make Valentine’s Day cards, and create floral arrangements, and this is one party we wish we could attend! Pink and gold stationery from Paper Delights invited each lady to the gathering, where they were greeted with balloons festooning the entrance to Seattle’s Ollie Quinn and the most gorgeous tabletop with florals by Emily Elizabeth Events and dusty pink linens from La Tavola. We’re loving chic and modern details like acrylic standing mirrors, cut-out name place cards, and pink lip cookies, and the romance and elegance of the compote centerpieces, textured fabrics, and vintage trays displaying sips and bites. Galentine’s has never looked so fabulous and we are head over heels for every moment, captured beautifully on film by Blue Rose Photography!

Morgan, who is in interior design, and Zac, a bridge designer, are both huge lovers of aesthetic and architecture, so when envisioning their perfect day location and visual touches were second only to a fantastic and personal celebration. Working with Lauren Field Design, the couple chose The Forest Park Visitors Center in St Louis for their warm and rustic autumn soiree. They opted not to do a first look, which made the first moment they saw each other during their ceremony even more special. Morgan and Zac’s taste and style were never more apparent than in their choice of attire, both for themselves and their attendants. Morgan donned a showstopping Rivini lace mermaid gown, while her maids glittered in gold sequin sheaths from Nordstrom, and Zac opted for a classic navy tux, and the result is a positively glamorous wedding party! From the crisp fall leaves to the glimmering candlelight mixed with greenery on the tables dressed by Les Bouquet, we are head over heels for every image by Untamed Heart Photography!

The monochromatic look is all the rage, and this styled shoot featuring David’s Bridal‘s Fall 2017 collection is “Something Blue” perfection! Inspired by a Melissa Sweet for David’s Bridal wedding dress in dreamy ice blue, the Aisle Society ladies transformed the open and airy Hudson Loft into an entire wonderland of blue. Coordinating bridesmaids dresses in ice and steel blues were just the start of the on-trend styling. The Diana Gould Ltd team created an incredible harlequin-style ceremony backdrop with brushed metal accents that made the light dance throughout the loft, giving an enchanting glittery look to the accompanying ghost chairs. The tabletop carries through the modern theme, with a glass-topped table, shibori napkins, and a showstopping flower box centerpiece. As if all of these incredible details weren’t enough, a tassel installation surrounded the minimalist wedding cake from Lulu Cake Boutique. Swoon! From sapphire jewels to coordinating invitations (and of course those exquisite dresses!), David’s Bridal is truly a one stop shop for wedding goodness! We are completely smitten with this entire shoot, and the fabulous images captured by Cassi Claire Photography!

Gold and white weddings make our hearts go pitter-patter, so we are completely smitten by Carolina and Ryan’s beautiful wedding at New Jersey’s The Ryland Inn. Fashion set the tone for the day, and Carolina is resplendent in an elegant lace Allure Bridal gown, while her maids are oh so chic in champagne sequin Bari Jay bridesmaids dresses. The light and airy palette continued into the reception, which featured lovely and ornate branch centerpieces with white orchids mixed with low and lush hydrangea and rose arrangements. Combined with the ballroom’s lovely chandeliers, the result was breathtaking! We know you’re going to fall in love with every moment captured by the incredible Cassi Claire Photography!

Nestled in the tiny Long Island hamlet of Oakdale is the exceptionally beautiful Bourne Mansion, which played host to Alexis and Geoffrey’s elegant and romantic June nuptials. Alexis was a positively radiant bride, selecting a dramatic lace Galia Lahav gown and veil, with loose curls and a fluffy blush bouquet of roses and peonies. Treated to a picture-perfect blue sky, Alexis and Geoffrey exchanged their own written vows beneath a dramatic floral branch arch on the lawn, and afterwards guests moved into the stately ballroom for a seated dinner at elegant tables with towering centerpieces of lush hydrangea, rose, and greenery created by Flowers by Brian. Topping off the night was a dance party to the tunes from Sound House, which ended with glow sticks and not one but three pairs of split pants! Alexis describes the day of their wedding as “so incredibly full of love it could be physically felt and seen with every detail” and we couldn’t imagine truer words to be spoken after gazing upon the simply perfect images from Cassi Claire!

Jodi and Jared were married on a picture-perfect day at Waterside Restaurant and Catering in North Bergen, NJ. The dramatic Manhattan skyline as seen from the Hudson River was the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony, which featured many lovely moments, including the traditional seven blessings as read by the couple’s aunts and uncles. The couple wanted their wedding to have a light and airy feel, and flowing Donna Morgan dresses for the ladies in shades of blue matched the sunny August skies and perfectly complemented Jodi’s Reem Acra gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. As the imposing skyline was visible from the venue’s floor to ceiling windows for the reception, Avenue Flowers & Gifts kept the centerpieces simple and low, with fresh white blooms. Jodi and Jared selected the band, Burnt Sienna, because they had caught their show at a local hotspot in Dewey Beach, Delaware, where they fell in love! The non-stop dance party was kicked off by the couple with a fabulous choreographed first dance, executed flawlessly right down to the “Dirty Dancing” style lift at the end! Every moment is captured beautifully by Cassi Claire!
