Romance in Las Vegas at The Venetian & The Palazzo

Are you dreaming of a destination wedding, but unsure about the logistics and spend for your guests? You may have never considered Las Vegas, but I’m here to tell you that it’s not all Elvis impersonators and smoke-filled casinos. Recently, several Aisle Society ladies visited Las Vegas and had the amazing opportunity to stay at The Venetian and learn more about weddings at the luxury Italian-themed property and its sister resort, The Palazzo. I had visited The Venetian before, but had never stayed in the hotel, so I was so excited to experience the all-suite resort.

If you’ve visited Las Vegas before, you know that a day on the Strip can be incredibly tiring, noisy, and overwhelming. And as we were there for a conference, on our feet and mingling all day, it was even more exhausting! At the end of each day, I absolutely couldn’t wait to leave the conference hotel and head to The Venetian. Whether we were roaming the Grand Canal shops, visiting one of the amazing restaurants and bakeries, relaxing in the Canyon Ranch Spa, or simply enjoying our suite, the luxurious ambiance and peaceful elegance of The Venetian felt worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. What truly sets The Venetian apart (besides their amazing service and gorgeous architecture) is that every room key unlocks a fabulous suite, complete with a spacious living room and incredible bath with soaking tub.

Whether you’re on the hunt for the perfect bachelorette party location, envisioning a gorgeous destination wedding, or even planning the perfect proposal, The Venetian and The Palazzo have amazing options!

The Proposal

Transport yourself to the canals of Venice with an amazing private gondola ride for two, complete with a serenade! Float through the gorgeous scenery and you’ll be so enchanted by the beautiful bridges and blue skies. It’s a wondrous place to propose, and The Venetian can make it even more spectacular by projecting “Will You Marry Me?” onto the sky ceiling. Swoon!

The Wedding

Worlds away from a cookie-cutter Las Vegas chapel, weddings at The Venetian and The Palazzo are luxury events, and there are options throughout the property for unique and beautiful spaces to host your vows! For a sweet and romantic elopement for two, there’s the gorgeous Signature White Wedding Gondola. Or up to 20 of your nearest and dearest can join you on the beautiful Wedding Bridge, overlooking the Grand Canal amidst the stunning replica of St. Mark’s Square. For the ultimate wow factor, the Palazzo Waterfall stands three stories tall and is a picturesque setting for photos! The decor changes seasonally and is always spectacular, as evidenced by the floating glass butterflies and incredible grotto setting on display during our visit.

The Venezia Courtyard and Wedding Terrace are outdoor locations set amongst The Venetian’s lush gardens. These beautiful backdrops can be customized by The Venetian’s incredible floral staff for an unparalleled backdrop for your vows. And for larger gatherings, The Venetian’s three wedding chapels are elegantly appointed and truly capture the romance of Venice, with breathtaking views of the lush gardens. Each chapel accommodates 50 guests, and all can be combined for wedding of up to 150!

The Bachelorette Party or Honeymoon

I’ve already mentioned the incredible rooms for you to enjoy, but I haven’t yet gushed about the fabulousness that is the world class Canyon Ranch SpaClub, onsite adjoining both The Venetian and The Palazzo. One of the largest spas in the world, the Spa is a complete oasis where you can prepare to be pampered. We spent a blissful evening enjoying the Aquavana Experience, a collection of thermal cabins and aquatherapy rooms, relaxation rooms, salt grotto, rain showers, and much more. With over 150 services and 90 treatment rooms (including a bridal suite!), you’ll be in absolute heaven.

As a self-professed foodie, I couldn’t wait to experience the dining options at The Venetian, and we had spectacular meals at Buddy V’s (yes, THAT Buddy V. from Cake Boss!) and db Brasserie, Chef Daniel Boulud’s contemporary French restaurant, with a chic Parisian feel. I’m a vegetarian, and was so pleased with the variety of offerings on the menu and willingness for the staff to go above and beyond to create a memorable dining event! db Brasserie also has two private dining rooms, and their sleek and modern space hosts many intimate dinner parties and wedding receptions!
