When Sandrine from Elegance in France and her fiancé, the talented Emmanuel Pinte photographie, decided to spend a romantic weekend in Venice to celebrate their first anniversary, they were inspired to create a shoot showcasing the beautiful architecture and the city’s unique and fabled twisting footpaths, winding canals, and enchanting bridges. A dramatic black dress with a flowing black silk cape set the tone, echoing the mystery and darkness of the traditional carnival masks. Joy from Studio French Blue designed bespoke stationery featuring a hand-drawn bridge motif and elegant swaths of calligraphy. A tabletop set atop deep black linens featured sophisticated florals by Olivier Gental with anemones and ranunculus, set amongst glimmering pillar candles and baroque china. Louise from B.LOVED designed two different looks, each showcasing invitations with greenery and floral motifs from Minted. The watercolor influenced Leafy Ampersand suite and the vivid Diamante set inspired a blush, gray, and green setting with botanical motifs, floaty bridesmaids dresses from TH&TH Bridesmaids, and an on-trend macrame gown from Luella’s Bridal. Whimsical gold foil trees dot the tabletop, which sits beneath a canopy of suspended greenery designed by Moss and Stone Floral Designs. Minted’s Vines of Green all-in-one invitation and Petal Surround suite are showcased in the second look, with dramatic black tableware, coordinating black table numbers and menus, and flowing silk ribbons. Dreamy Brooklyn Wedding with Flowing Flowers and Hints of Citrus
Sarah and Scott originally had a large celebration planned, but like many other brides, COVID changed that. In a cautious manner they decided to move forward with their wedding with just their 12 closest family and friends. Despite the small guest count, the design aspect was large. Their outdoor ceremony took place surrounded by banyan trees under the most stunning Chuppah. Reception was followed with the most divine tent with flowing florals and hints of citrus.

Classic North Carolina COVID Wedding
Christian and Kayleigh met senior year of college through a friend and bonded over their love of sports. This love and friendship culminated in a dreamy proposal overlooking the New York City skyline. They originally planned a 250-person wedding, which they decided to alter down to only 34 guests because of the pandemic. By hosting just immediate family and wedding party, they were able to have all guests masked, as well as tested before and after the event, prioritizing safety. When it came to their wedding day, they were inspired to make the wedding all about them as a couple and what made them unique. For a timeless and elegant look, they chose a neutral color palette that allowed their love to shine. They love the show ‘How I Met Your Mother’, so included several subtle nods to the show throughout. For even more personalization, the Chuppah was covered by Kayleigh’s Tillet (shoulder covering) from her Bat Mitzvah. Scroll to see all the perfect details captured by Amy Kolo!
Florida’s Bok Tower Gardens Styled Shoot
Tuscan meets tropical at this Bok Tower Gardens wedding inspiration shoot. Located in Lake Whales, Florida, Bok Tower Gardens boasts historic landmarks and treasured architecture, secluded in lush gardens. Acres of ferns, palms, oak and pine trees and flowering foliage provide a serene and naturally beautiful setting that allows for the tile mosaics, sculptures, carvings and custom ironwork of Bok Tower to stand out for its own beauty. The vision of this wedding inspiration shoot was understated elegance. From the natural vibe of the paper goods crafted by Love Offering, to the palette of neutrals and dainty touches of gold, the entire design was dreamt up to exist in harmony with the serene setting rather than compete with it for attention.
Glamorously Elegant Holiday Wedding in Boston
Adria and Mike love the elegance and warmth of the holidays so when they decided to get married between Christmas and New Year’s, they chose to take inspiration for their wedding from this time of year as well! They began with a color palette of gunmetal, champagne, and rose gold and then added in bold pops of deep red in the florals by The Wild Dahlia. Adria is a self-proclaimed “history nerd” who loves the 1920’s so you’ll see a hint of art deco in their stationery and the truly amazing bridesmaids’ dresses as well. Elegant Socially Distant Wedding Inspiration
Today’s wedding inspiration comes from the idea that downsizing your guest list and implementing social distancing measures into your big day does not mean that you have to downsize your vision! Magnolia Celebrates shows us ways to elevate your wedding style, such as using smaller, more intimate tables and creating unique tablescapes or place settings for each, using stately plate covers for a plated meal, or displaying a faux wedding cake throughout the event. The team behind today’s post was inspired by the old Spanish architecture of the venue. They incorporated shades of mauve, brick, cappuccino, and sage into the tablescapes, each table getting a unique set of linens and gorgeous florals by Flowers By Yona. So many wonderful ideas from this shoot and these photos by Caroline Willett are sure to give you lots of ideas for your own wedding, whether it will be in the time of social distancing or not!
French Garden Inspiration in Washington
A backdrop of verdant green climbing ivy and dreamy painterly florals would play a muse for any impressionist artist, so it’s no wonder that Indigo Event Design chose the stunning gardens and chateau of Monet Vineyards for this Claude Monet-inspired shoot. BLUE Floral Company created a pastel rainbow of locally-sourced florals to paint the outdoor ceremony space and stunning bouquet that is worthy of Monet’s brush itself. Lush centerpieces of coral and butter yellow peonies, lavender scabiosa, and dusty blush roses sit atop a french blue table, with just the right touch of regal elegance from gold flatware and chargers. Romantic and intimate, these photos by RTFaith Photography prove that even a micro-wedding can be a fairytale wedding too!
Modern Elegant Ivory and Gold DC Wedding
Avery and Chris met at law school in Alabama but then moved to Georgetown where they continued to fall in love with not only each other, but with DC as well, so it’s no surprise that when they started planning their wedding, they wanted to share those loves with all their friends and family! It was an amazingly elegant weekend, starting with a gorgeous rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, and then a Saturday reception at Potomac View Terrace (APHA) where guests enjoyed incredible views of the Lincoln Memorial and Capital Building. They went with a classy and chic monochrome palette of ivory and gold for their tablescapes, incorporating both tall and short arrangements of white hydrangea, roses, and flowering branches from Duran Floral Design. These photos from Lisa Blume Photography are the epitome of classic modern elegance!
Romantic Lavender Farm Wedding Inspiration
There’s nothing dreamier than a field of lavender at golden hour, so it’s no surprise that the team behind this shoot chose Blue Barn Lavender Farm as their location and inspiration! The bride is positively radiant in a couture Claire Pettibone gown and the classic bouquet of ivory and blush roses by Willow Garden Floral Design and Gift Boutique is the perfect accessory, stunning and subtle at the same time. Touches like fresh lavender tosses and lavender linens dot the tablescape as a nod to the venue. Classic and chic, these photos by Lovely Light Imagery are French country perfection, so be sure to check out the full gallery below!
Modern Romantic Gold Wedding Inspiration
While a bright and bold color palette will often be the one to steal the show, today’s inspiration from Iris and Oak Events proves that neutrals can very much hold their own in the spotlight! The fresh white walls of Felicity Church were the ideal clean slate for Leaf and Petal Nola to create a stunning garden of gold and white florals. Lush centerpieces — low compotes overflowing with monochromatic roses, orchids, and ranunculus — perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the runner-less wooden table set with gold flatware and cut glass. Every detail in this New Orleans shoot is so very magical, you’re going to love all of these photos from Tasha Rae Photography!

Elegant Lisbon Elopement and Getaway Inspiration
This dreamy elopement sent to us by Anastasia of Portugal Wedding Photographer has us wishing we could run away to Lisbon to recreate every detail of this breathtaking shoot. The beauty and elegance of the city architecture was a stunning backdrop for this impeccably styled couple and the bouquet by Decorelle was lush pastel perfection. Afterwards, Anastasia brought the couple to the seaside in Cascais for a relaxed but still incredibly stylish honeymoon session with the most adorable getaway partners we could imagine!
Old World Italian Villa Wedding Inspiration
High on a hilltop near Como sits the small Italian village of Erba, home of the astounding Villa Pina whose details are so beautiful it looks like it stepped out of a romantic novel set in the 1800s. It is the perfect setting for a luxe and glamorous editorial that Duet Friday and Edelweiss Weddings Italy wanted to create for the world. Since the shoot was primarily conducted on the terrace, the team chose florals in shades of pink and gold alongside warm pastels to complement the rustic terra cotta and the earthy exterior. If only we could wake up to this romance every morning!
Modern Organic Elegance Wedding Inspiration
While the color palette of a fall wedding is often full of bold shades, this neutral and natural inspiration from the lens of The Simmons Photography really caught our eye. Julia and her equally-impressive team of fellow wedding vendors took a brief departure away from the tried-and-true jewel tones and went stark white and toned down for fall. Layers of cream and ivory enhanced the pristine white room and hints of dried florals from Evergreen Flower Co. provided just the right amount of color. This color palette and design would work beautifully throughout all seasons of the year, especially if you incorporated a lively background like a sage green wall! It’s a great pop of color and you know us: we’re all for stand-out details.
Traditional Burgundy and Navy Fall Wedding
Fall evokes the dreamiest of color palettes and also some of the most innovative pairings, we think. Brittany and Adam married near the tail-end of the fall season where society’s color palette has started gravitating away from oranges and bright reds into deeper tones. Darker reds and moodier colors like their choice of burgundy and navy blue are spot on for this time of year. We love how Elle and Jaye Events transformed JW Marriott Las Vegas into a romantic, fall wonderland with burgundy, gold, and navy blue woven together. With Susie and Will and all of the vendors strutting their best stuff for Brittany and Adam’s wedding, the result was exceptionally beautiful.

A delicate lace gown from Atelier Anna Fucà  paired beautifully with elegant Harriet Wilde heels and the gorgeous, jewel-toned floral by Il Profumo Dei Fiori. We are simply enchanted by each lovely image from Les Amis Photo!
