Adrienne and Costi met in college at Duke University, so it was only fitting that they returned to Durham to marry in the Duke University Chapel. Their wedding was a chic celebration of their love for each other, their families, and their alma mater, and their choice of deep moody colors worked perfectly with their reception venue, The Cotton Room. The couple filled the day with handmade details to make their wedding even more personal. They collected vintage photos of Durham architecture to serve as table numbers, and of Duke’s campus for a postcard guest book which now has a special place in their new home. The Cotton Room is located in a warehouse that was once used to make small cotton bags for packaging tobacco, Durham’s major crop. They made similar bags containing Jordan almonds to serve as escort cards. And together, Adrienne and Costi even designed and letterpressed their own invitation suite! Even Hurricane Matthew couldn’t dampen the spirit of the day, and we’re loving the images from Live View Studios!
