Marisa and Sean fell in love with the views and airy ballroom of Pleasonton, California’s The Club at Ruby Hill at first sight, and it was a perfect choice for their summer wedding. A ceremony under the gorgeous outdoor trellis gave way to a chic blush and gold reception with pretty centerpieces by Katherine Bergman of roses and hydrangea. Marisa originally envisioned a form-fitting gown, but after trying on a stunning Pronovias ballgown, she knew it was “the one”, and Bo Lee Bridal added a custom sash to complete the look. We’re loving this sweet soiree and The Ganeys captured each moment to perfection!

Pink + Gold Miami Wedding
Claudia and Greg chose the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove in Miami for their wedding festivities because the South Florida location represents their family roots but the look of the venue called to mind their former loft in Denver and their current home in Brooklyn. It’s a gorgeous estate by the water, which was a lovely site for an outdoor ceremony. Claudia looked amazing in a Watters gown from RK Bridal, paired with vintage jewelry and blush shoes from BHLDN that remind us of Old Hollywood. Lush blooms of peonies, hydrangeas and roses from Glady’s Flowers are a classic and elegant choice, and we love the earthiness of the dusty miller that’s mixed in Claudia’s bouquet. Thanks to the one-stop help of Exquisite Productions, who coordinated the wedding day, catering, rentals, linens, and DJ for their laid-back reception, Claudia and Greg didn’t have to worry about the details of their day. All of these images from Tega Photography are gorgeous, but we especially love the romantic first look shots at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens!
Elegant and Classic Florida Wedding at the Vinoy
The historical Vinoy in St Petersburg is a throwback to old Florida, and a dreamy setting for a classic wedding! Michelle and Colton chose to hold their ceremony in the lush tea garden, its fountain dripping in garlands from Marigold Flower Co, and then treated their guests to a gorgeous reception in the ballroom, where the blush and gold palette beautifully balanced the architecture. From the letterpress invitations by Olivia Grace Paperie to the images captured on film by The Ganeys, every detail is timeless and chic!
Nautical Florida Yacht Club Wedding
To say that Courtney and Kyle’s wedding day is beautiful would be an understatement: in fact, it’s positively glowing. The Carlouel Yacht Club played host to their celebration, held on a spring day full of sunshine, and the palm trees and elegant arbor from Florist Fire made for a spectacular backdrop for their ceremony on the lawn. The couple decided against a first look, instead seeing each other as they walked down the aisle, and Courtney says “Kyle’s reaction as I walked down the aisle was unforgettable. It still gives me butterflies!” Courtney always envisioned herself in lace for her wedding day, and a champagne-hued Anne Barge gown was the perfect selection. She is a radiant bride, and natural makeup from Lindsay Does Makeup only enhanced her picture-perfect bridal glow. Absolutely in love with the images captured on film by The Ganeys!
Sophisticated New England Country Club Wedding
Rebecca and Cory were married on a spectacular August day at the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire. The couple selected a pretty, neutral palette of cream, gold, and blush, and after a ceremony along the water, moved inside the nearby reception tent for an evening of celebration with their nearest and dearest. Inspired by the waterside setting, the couple incorporated subtle seaside details into their wedding, including adorable oyster shell place cards with calligraphy by Honey Honey Calligraphy. Flower Kiosk created a mix of garland and traditional centerpieces with soft hydrangea and roses, and our favorite detail may just be the romantic swaths of greenery on the bride and groom’s chairs! The I Do Scene made sure that the day was more perfect than Rebecca and Cory could ever hope for, and every detail came together to create a day they will never forget. Enjoy each beautiful image from Rachel Red Photography!
Romantic California Wedding
Patty and Andrew were married on a picture-perfect California summer day at the Huntington Beach Hyatt Regency. The couple met as mere children and attended every school from junior high to graduate school together! Their laid-back beach wedding beautifully blended classic elements, like Patty’s stunning Pronovias gown and elegant florals (those pink peonies – swoon!) from Greenleaf Designs, with personal elements, such as their custom New York City MetroCard escort cards, which paid homage to the couple’s graduate school years in NYC. Patty is a vision of easy elegance with a soft updo, Twigs & Honey headpiece, and beautiful, natural makeup from E2Beauty, and her maids’ deep blue J.Crew dresses perfectly complement their beribboned pink bouquets! We’re absolutely smitten by the gorgeous images from Esther Sun Photography!
Sophisticated Detroit Wedding
Alixandra and John’s wedding was a union between two cultures, and their stunning Michigan soiree embraced both their heritage and their love for each other. John is picture-perfect in a dapper Vera Wang tuxedo, and Alixandra is a vision in a Martina Liana gown and delicate veil. Her sophisticated updo and beautiful ivory and blush bouquet from Wafa’s Flowers perfectly offsets the gown’s lace bodice. We adore the subtle arc of color in the bridesmaids frocks; each selected their own pastel gown. Detroit’s The Colony Club played host to the stunning reception, which featured beautiful pedestal centerpieces and a monogrammed cake from Holiday Market. The love these two share bursts through in all of the gorgeous images from Pen/Carlson!
Sophisticated Ivory + Gold Wedding
Romantic and feminine, Griselda and Bo’s Orange County wedding is all about timeless glamour. With the backdrop of the ballroom at Yorba Linda’s Black Gold Golf Club, the couple chose the elegant color palette of ivory, champagne, blush, and gold. Sophisticated touches such as mismatched neutral bridesmaids dresses from Nordstrom, Christian Louboutin heels, and a timeless suit from Calvin Klein had us at hello! We love the pretty pops of peach in the centerpieces, Bo’s adorable pup, and of course, all of the fabulous images from Michelle Cross Photography!
Romantic + Elegant LA Hotel Wedding
Natives of Los Angeles, Michelle and Miguel wanted a spot for their wedding that didn’t feel like typical LA. The Legendary Park Plaza Hotel was the perfect venue for that, with its dramatic staircases, ceilings, and windows. The Dainty Lion helped Michelle and Miguel plan a celebration that was uniquely theirs, which included lush peony bouquets, baby’s breath topiaries, and pretty blooms in glass vases along tables peppered with gold sequin linens. Bridesmaids in taupe dresses were elegant, especially standing next to Michelle in a lace and tulle Pronovias gown from Bellasposa. We love Michelle’s blue Badgley Mischka shoes with sparkling brooches! Romantic touches such as floral stationery from Wedding Paper Divas and feather accents on place settings matches the drama of the location! A dessert table at the reception featured macaroons from Sweet and Saucy Shop, topped off with a cake designed by Hotcakes Bakes. We’re swooning over every detail in these photos from Love, Janet Photography!
Elegant Virginia Wedding with Two Traditional Ceremonies
Kristen and Daniel’s wedding day was filled to the brim with festivities and honored each of their family’s cultures with two separate wedding ceremonies! The celebration began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where the bride and groom served tea to each set of parents to show their respect and gratitude. Later in the day, Kristen changed from her vibrant red gown to a romantic lace BHLDN gown for a Jewish ceremony under a stunning chuppah decorated with blush, peach, and ivory roses and peonies by Holly Chapple Flowers. They ended the evening with dinner, dancing, and even a sparker send-off filled with cheers from all their closest friends and family. There is so much beauty and love in this wedding so make sure you view the whole gallery below for even more photos from Jessica Green Photography!
Iconic San Francisco Garden Wedding
Patrice and Nick met in one of the most unique ways we’ve heard of: the pair were production assistants on former TV sitcom “The New Adventures of Old Christine”. They started out as friends and their relationship bloomed from there, ultimately with an inventive engagement proposal that involved Patrice’s boss (read more below about that fun tale). They wanted a wedding that drew in their love for California, Patrice’s Filipino heritage, and an overwhelming elegance and thoughtfulness. Sabine Scherer Photography captured their wedding, from the stunning ceremony at Patrice’s family church, St. Dominic Catholic Church to their Bently Reserve reception. Their reception venue is hailed for its opulence, so to add balance, Mango Muse Events and Violetta Flowers pulled in live trees, organic asymmetrical elements and garlands, and added meaningful orchids and roses (as an homage to family that had passed on). Of course, fun had to be had, so to kick off their reception, the newlyweds partnered up to do a medley dance that ended with hip hop. We love all of the injections of Patrice and Nick’s fun personalities and fascinating lives all throughout their big day.
Traditional Burgundy and Navy Fall Wedding
Fall evokes the dreamiest of color palettes and also some of the most innovative pairings, we think. Brittany and Adam married near the tail-end of the fall season where society’s color palette has started gravitating away from oranges and bright reds into deeper tones. Darker reds and moodier colors like their choice of burgundy and navy blue are spot on for this time of year. We love how Elle and Jaye Events transformed JW Marriott Las Vegas into a romantic, fall wonderland with burgundy, gold, and navy blue woven together. With Susie and Will and all of the vendors strutting their best stuff for Brittany and Adam’s wedding, the result was exceptionally beautiful.
Charming Ohio Wedding at Historic Estate
One gaze at this wedding and it would be hard to imagine that Leah and Andy wanted a laid-back fête to reflect their easygoing selves because their wedding is dripping with classic elements. To say the least, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is an old world vision that Renee Lemaire Photography certainly captured at the Porter’s big day. Every aspect of the grounds exudes romance and the whole place looks like it was plucked out of a fairytale. Leah recalls going to Stan Hywet often as a little girl, so she knew it was THE place and after showing Andy, they were both hooked and began dreaming up their wedding. Their September wedding day consisted of a delicate cream and ivory palette with dabs of blush, expert florals by The Budding Tree, and ending the night twirling away underneath the trees and the stars.
Summer Wedding at Whistling Straits
Megan wanted a destination wedding and Stephen, a local Chicago soiree, so they compromised by choosing Kohler, Wisconsin’s stunning Whistling Straits for their June nuptials. Any Midwesterner knows that the weather in June in Wisconsin can be a toss-up, and though the day started out gloomy and misting, right in time for the ceremony the skies cleared and the sun appeared! When thinking of their wedding style, Megan and Stephen knew that they wanted simple elegance, and their choices reflected that vision. Wooden tables and farmhouse chairs graced the stone reception room, with glimmering candles and swaths of greenery. The result was a chic and sophisticated wedding with timeless images from Jenna Marie Photography that we know they’ll forever treasure!
Romantic Charleston Wedding at Boone Hall
Cody and Abby’s vision of a classic Lowcountry wedding came to life when they said their vows beneath the majestic oaks of Charleston’s beautiful Boone Hall Plantation. Their outdoor ceremony gave way to a celebration inside the Cotton Dock, where Beautiful Brides Events and The Purple Magnolia created an elegant atmosphere with glimmering chandeliers and swaths of greenery. Their perfect blend of rustic elegance was beautifully captured by Ava Moore Photography!
Chic Coastal Wedding at Seabrook Island Club
With soft neutral hues and a spectacular beachside setting, Margaret Kyle and Kyle’s Charleston destination wedding is pure coastal elegance. The couple knew they wanted a destination wedding, and Margaret Kyle’s aunt and uncle were married at the Seabrook Island Club, and those fond memories translated into the perfect place to get married! Their vision of an understated but elegant look was brought to life by Lindsay Merhege of Fox Events. Tiger Lily Flowers designed florals that celebrated the neutral palette, with statement accents of greenery and a mixture of snowy white blooms. From the incredible palm tree backdrop to the beautiful cake by Delicious Desserts, every moment is beautifully captured by Jennings King Photography!
Elegant Chicago Country Club Wedding
Lauren and Jack’s Westmoreland Country Club wedding is so beautiful, it’s like a dream! The club, with its immaculate landscaping and tent with twinkling lights was the perfect choice for the couple’s late summer event. Filled with the most beautiful blooms and greenery, the overall feel is romantic and sophisticated with just a touch of whimsy and the reception tent feels like a hidden secret garden! Lauren is a vision in a flowing Mikaella gown, beautifully accented with a colorful, lush bouquet designed by Four Finches. There’s not a single detail we aren’t completely smitten by, and it’s all captured beautifully by Bonphotage!
Romantic Boone Hall Plantation Wedding
Whitney and Matt were married on a picture perfect summer day at Charleston, SC’s historic Boone Hall Plantation. A classic color palette of blush and gold accented the rustic beauty of the location. The front lawn, with its ancient oak trees and ornate gate played host to the ceremony, and the reception on the Cotton Dock was decked out with greenery and lush blooms by Lindsay Bishop Events, with chandeliers and candles adding a touch of sparkle to the natural surroundings. Ruffled LulaKate bridesmaids dresses in peony pink added a fun pop of color and perfectly accented Whitney’s gown from Bridals by Lori. Head over heels for this beautiful day and the images from Rachel Red Photography!
Chic + Neutral Florida Wedding
When a hurricane mucks up your wedding day plans, what is left to do but to mix it up and go on your honeymoon first! Two weeks after Mother Nature cancelled their ceremony, Mark and Morgan were married on a picture-perfect St. Augustine, Florida day! The Big Event had a huge task rescheduling a complete wedding, but it couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and Morgan says “It was the best day ever!” The couple selected the clean and simple The River House for their reception. Its unfussy atmosphere allowed the focus to be on the marriage and celebration! Aime Peterson Flowers & Event Design accented the ballroom with soft florals in white and cream and pretty gray linens for a pop of color. Mark and Morgan wanted their guests to eat, drink, dance, and have a great time, and we love the joyous atmosphere in the beautiful photos from PSJ Photography!
Classic Blush Country Club Wedding
We are completely smitten with the romantic and airy feel of Jae and Robert’s wedding at The Highlands Country Club in Garrison, NY. After a gorgeous ceremony under a to-die-for floral arch, Ivie Joy Floral Arts & Events brought the feeling of a garden indoors for the reception with natural and organic arrangements of anemones, ranunculus, garden rose, dahlia, and hydrangea, in beautiful blush and white tones. Along with white chiavari chairs, the light tones were a perfect match for sleek wooden tables in the gorgeous dining room of The Highlands. Sweet details such as doughnut cufflinks (both are dessert lovers!) and a custom gown from Mika Inatome made Jae and Robert’s wedding uniquely personal to them, and the entire day is beautifully captured by Brklyn View Photography!
Chic Wedding on the Hudson River
Lyla and Lawrence met in a quintessential New York City fashion: on the downtown platform for the 1 train! The couple exchanged numbers before transferring at Times Square, had their first date two weeks later, and the rest is history. Similar to the way they met, they wanted their wedding to be authentic and romantic, with a little bit of spontaneity. With The Garrison as their venue, Lyla and Lawrence set out to showcase the beautiful location overlooking the Hudson River while mixing in sweet details for their loft reception, such as candle favors from nearby Cold Spring Apothecary. The entire day is captured beautifully by Jenna McElroy Photography!

Elegant California Villa Wedding
Christine and Daniel’s wedding is equal parts romantic, dreamy, and classic. With the beautiful villa and gardens of Villa Montalvo as the setting and perfect Northern California weather provided by the month of May, the couple’s graceful ivory and blush color palette came to life within the lush green foliage. Charmed Events Group brought the elegant setting to life with lace linens from La Tavola, a dramatic draped arch decked with greenery and florals by Tango & Foxtrot, and fresh, clean centerpieces of peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus. A gorgeous lace-embellished cake from Studio Cake completed the scene. Christine is radiant in a sophisticated Allure gown to match Daniel’s chic black tux, and to honor their heritage, both donned traditional Korean wedding attire from LeeHwa Wedding for an incredible sunset portrait session. We are completely in love with every moment captured by Danielle Poff Photography!
Classic Glamour Wedding Inspiration
Classic glamour was at the heart of this stunning inspiration shoot that celebrated old-world styling and sultry femininity, and the result is nothing short of breathtaking! Berkeley’s turn of the century castle-turned-hotel Claremont Club & Spa was the perfect setting for the blend of elegance and romance styled by Audrey Norman Photography and my lovely friend Ariana of Hey Wedding Lady. Working with a palette of crisp white, vintage gold, and hints of pastels, the team designed the event with a nod to the chic styles of the 1950s. Pretty floral motifs in the stationery by Aerialist Press perfectly matched the lush and romantic florals by Michelle Lywood, and the Galia Lahav gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal Salon with a plunging back and sweeping tulle skirt stole the show, combining modern-day sexiness with retro-inspired curls from Kelly Jones Makeup. Darling bow details were sprinkled throughout, from the napkin bows at each place setting to the sculpted sugar ribbon on the cake from A Spoonful of Sugar. We are absolutely smitten with each gorgeous image from Audrey Norman Photography!
Romantic Museum Garden Wedding
Good morning lovelies and happy 2015! We are so excited to usher in a new year full of beautiful soirees, and couldn’t think of a better way to kick off a new year than Nga and Tinh’s lovely wedding at Los Altos History Museum. Classic garden romance was the theme of the day. The couple partnered with Oliveta Design to design a lush, sophisticated reception with bouquets and centerpieces full of greenery and roses in a rainbow of pastels from Studio Mondine. Nga is a vision in a relaxed Jenny Packham gown and Gucci heels, perfectly paired with a ribbon-tied bouquet, and her three maids wore hand-picked frocks in the palest of blush from BHLDN and J.Crew. We simply adore each and every detail—right down to the floral garland on the getaway car from Elegant Journey—in these stunning images from Clary Pfeiffer!
Classic + Sophisticated San Francisco Wedding
Chris and Maria’s wedding is a true San Francisco affair. The couple worked with Julie Briggs Dunn of JBD Events to curate the details of the day. They selected Maria’s family church, St. Ignatius Church at the University of San Francisco, for their ceremony, and the stunning Flood Mansion for their reception gathering, a venue that held special meaning as Maria had attended school in the building and knew every nook and cranny of the venerable space. Maria is polished and elegant in a custom Jin Wang gown and jacket, which she helped to design, and several beautiful pieces of jewelry, including earrings gifted by her mother, a bracelet belonging to her maid of honor’s grandmother, and her grandmother’s brooch and handkerchief pinned to her bouquet. Chris and his groomsmen are dapper in white dinner jackets, and Maria’s bridal party selected chic frocks from …And Something Blue, complete with belts handmade by Maria’s mother. The Main Hall of the Mansion was decorated with light and airy tablescapes by Thierry Chantrel, in soft pink and shimmering silver accented by the bright, open space. Modern twists, including the silver fortune cookie favors as a nod to the City by the Bay’s famed Chinatown and a Swiss Dot wedding cake by The Cakemaker, made the day even more personal. Each of the images from Kelly Stonelake is stunning!
Chic San Francisco Cafe Wedding
We are head over heels for Lauren and Taylor’s chic blue-and-white San Francisco wedding! Lauren, a wedding planner herself, immediately began pulling together ideas after Taylor’s proposal, so that—with the help of Ryder Sloan Events—they could have an outdoor affair to remember. She started with the location, Stable Cafe. The urban garden space was a great backdrop for a collection of blue-and-white ginger jars filled with florals from Mandolin Flowers. Plumosa fern garlands and cafe lights added an air of sophistication, while classic arrangements of hydrangeas, anemones, and roses accented tables covered with Swiss dot linens from La Tavola. Lauren wore her cousin’s couture Carolina Herrera Bridal gown with embellished blue Manolo Blahnik heels, a Christmas gift from Taylor; her bouquet was wrapped with long pieces of vintage lace and blue velvet ribbon. Amy Nichols Special Events ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish, which included transforming the courtyard after the ceremony into a luxe space for dinner and dancing, along with lounging areas outfitted with seating from One True Love Vintage Rentals. Later in the evening, guests sipped warm spiked cocktails from the DIY coffee bar, the perfect accompaniment to a salted caramel wedding cake from Cake Coquette—the design of the dessert mimicked the ginger jar pattern. We are just in total love with all of these fabulous images from Julie Mikos!
Sophisticated San Francisco Wedding
We’re crushing pretty hard on Jennifer and Matt’s breathtaking San Francisco wedding in all its sleek black and white glory! The ceremony, held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, was a vision of structured elegance–starting with Jennifer’s mod Romona Keveza Collection gown (that back sash!) from Bridal Galleria and floor-length black Bill Levkoff dresses on bridesmaids. The black, ivory, and gold reception at The Olympic Club featured all white florals from Asiel Design, including centerpieces of cascading white orchids that are simply stunning. We love the personal touch of hand-carved shorebirds on the tables, done by Jennifer’s decoy carver father. A dessert table with confections from SusieCakes lent an air of fun to this sophisticated affair. These images from Milou + Olin Photography are just flawless. Don’t miss a single detail!
Oyster Picnic Engagement Session
Dreamy is the first word that comes to mind when looking at these lovely beach engagement photos! Joanne and Johnny picked up oysters from their favorite spot—Hog Island Oyster Farm—for a romantic picnic near Point Reyes. We love the vintage feel the deserted shore plus rentals from Dreamy Whites gives this session! We think Joanne and Johnny look stunning and happy in these beautiful images from KT Merry Photography!
Chic San Francisco City Hall Wedding
Sometimes simple is the most sophisticated, and that’s how we feel about Ailin and David’s understated but beautiful wedding at San Francisco City Hall. These sweet images from Connie Lyu highlight the best of the day, from the breathtaking architecture of the building to Ailin’s short BCBG Max Azria dress with blue Manolo Blahnik heels. Guests joined Ailin and David post-ceremony at Stable Cafe, where amazing food by Azalina’s, a fabulous gold cake from Cake Coquette, and plenty of Champagne awaited. We love the shiny gold initial balloons and rustic garden arrangements from Lila B.. See all of the chic details in the gallery!
