Modern with a touch of Rustic Intimate Elopement Inspiration in San Miguel de Allende

This romantic and intimate editorial shoot is set in a field of wildflowers at the Green Door Gourmet farm in Nashville.  Styled by RSVP Events, the design features hues of pinks, peaches, and yellows, with gold and lilac accents for the perfect romantic summer wedding.  The ceremony setting is a gorgeous floral arbor in the wildflower field, with a table, bar, cake, and a champagne/cocktail cart nearby. 

Almost instantly, a wedding in Washington, DC has visions of ultimate grandeur. Jen and Nick wed in the early spring at the Four Seasons and they left no stone unturned when it came to the ins and outs of their wedding design. Jen’s favorite blooms are the ever-stunning and lush magnolias and with that color inspiration as their jumping point, they coveted a white/ivory and green wedding with gold accents. Florist Amy from Amy Lauren Floral Designs expressed and continued the color palette by using sumptuous white peonies and white roses along with the glossy magnolia leaves. This wedding has too many impeccable elements to it, both in design and in personality. We’re just glad that Kristen Gardner captured all the splendor in full!

Hands down, an all-white wedding is the utter classic wedding palette. It will go down in wedding inspiration history as one of our favorites here on EAD. As simple as it is, a white color scheme can make a wedding feel so luxurious and elegant and the varieties are endless. In this captivating Flora Bloom Photography editorial at the bright white Venue 1902, Pearl White Events (how perfect) opted for a soft, creamy white and ran amok with it. The venue is painted in a stark white, so gingerly toning the room down with ivory linen-clad tables dotted with blush and gold details and foliage was an exquisite idea. Punctuating it with a cleanly-done ceremony section with heaps of green space and a brick-lined lounge area makes this styled shoot chic, modern, and timeless to boot.

This gorgeous shoot has the perfect blend of coral and blue hues to really make it POP. From the elegant updo, to the grandeur of the cascading florals, this wedding inspiration really knows how to incorporate color and elegance to create a perfect image. We love these colors because they remind us of the softness of spring, and the pop of summer. 

Lindsey grew up in Northern Michigan and met her now husband Richard in Leland where they worked at a local lodge in the summer. When they fell in love and were engaged, they knew that Northern Michigan had to be the location for their wedding.

A backdrop of verdant green climbing ivy and dreamy painterly florals would play a muse for any impressionist artist, so it’s no wonder that Indigo Event Design chose the stunning gardens and chateau of Monet Vineyards for this Claude Monet-inspired shoot. BLUE Floral Company created a pastel rainbow of locally-sourced florals to paint the outdoor ceremony space and stunning bouquet that is worthy of Monet’s brush itself. Lush centerpieces of coral and butter yellow peonies, lavender scabiosa, and dusty blush roses sit atop a french blue table, with just the right touch of regal elegance from gold flatware and chargers. Editorial photographer Lianna from Lianna Marie Photography wanted to achieve one primary objective in this lush-colored wedding styled shoot: to showcase a soft and pastel-colored wedding in the heart of Vegas instead of the flashy swankiness that we all imagine when we think of the Entertainment Capital of the World. Lianna and her team of professional wedding vendors created a fine art wedding in the heart of Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Country Club. They created an oasis of summertime charm, luxe romance, and total elegance. It is undeniable that a huge focal point in this shoot are the sherbet and candy-colored blooms hailing from Layers of Lovely. Peonies, garden roses, spirea, ranunculus, and butterfly ranunculus in every shade of coral and pink under the sun are so pleasing to the eye. Sarah & Benjamin wanted guests to feel like they were entering a magical world when they arrived at their wedding and the day was full of awe-inspiring details which made that vision a reality. From getting married at the castle-like Wonderland Cluj Resort, to the horse-drawn carriage fit for royalty, to the show-stopping, jaw-droppingly lush, floor-to-ceiling florals by Elena Bodea – Las Floristas that filled both the ceremony and reception, guests were transported into a fairy tale for the day. Add to that that these two look like they walked out of a magazine themselves, and this may be one of the most dreamy weddings ever! With any outdoor wedding ceremony in Florida you have to have a rain plan, which was the case for Taylor and Jacob’s Alfond Inn wedding. What was meant to be a garden style ceremony on the lawn, was moved into the atrium due to weather. But, that didn’t stop the garden vibes.

Patrice and Nick met in one of the most unique ways we’ve heard of: the pair were production assistants on former TV sitcom “The New Adventures of Old Christine”. They started out as friends and their relationship bloomed from there, ultimately with an inventive engagement proposal that involved Patrice’s boss (read more below about that fun tale). They wanted a wedding that drew in their love for California, Patrice’s Filipino heritage, and an overwhelming elegance and thoughtfulness. Sabine Scherer Photography captured their wedding, from the stunning ceremony at Patrice’s family church, St. Dominic Catholic Church to their Bently Reserve reception. Their reception venue is hailed for its opulence, so to add balance, Mango Muse Events and Violetta Flowers pulled in live trees, organic asymmetrical elements and garlands, and added meaningful orchids and roses (as an homage to family that had passed on). Of course, fun had to be had, so to kick off their reception, the newlyweds partnered up to do a medley dance that ended with hip hop. We love all of the injections of Patrice and Nick’s fun personalities and fascinating lives all throughout their big day.

Gina and Joe’s story begins like so many others in this generation: via a dating app and an awkward first date. Despite the fact Joe was not a Francophile and “avoided all of the French words” at the French restaurant they ate at, the pair met up again and the rest was history. Before they knew it, they were planning a wedding in Temecula’s wine country with Ashley Bee Photography documenting their day. Purple was common favorite color between the two of them, yet they wanted to break up the hues with various shades. Mauve, gold, and the deep brown wood interior at Wiens Family Cellar created a classic and rustic feel. Gina and Joe are fond of the outdoors, yet due to the weather and the season, they opted to stay warm and cozy inside. Despite this, they wanted to extract those aspects of the outdoors they love and add them into their indoor venue. Long, wooden tables mostly exposed with Sweet Flowers’ wildflower-esque creations gave this nature-loving couple exactly the motif they wanted, and it’s a treat for us all too!

Let’s all take a moment (or two) out of our day to check out this bliss-inducing Janita Mestre wedding. It’s delightfully in the desert, so of course you’re going to spot a few cacti at Galway Downs, but you’re going to see such a dreamy color palette too. Being so close to Valentine’s Day, Stephanie and Alex wanted to evoke love all throughout, so they picked pink as their go-to hue. Big and bright blush and ivory florals by Events by Floral Sensations complemented the eye-catching David’s Bridal mauve bridesmaids’ dresses, and we loved this idea, too. Instead of continuing the soft tones everywhere, shake up the colors like Stephanie and Alex and throw a deep hue in the same color family somewhere that will be seen. Adding it to the bridesmaids’ dresses was a clever touch without overwhelming the couple’s desire to have an airy feel to their wedding day.

Nestled beneath a wise old oak on the edge of a vineyard this couple exchanged their “I Do’s”. The green and white hues with the smallest touches of petal pink highlight the intimacy of the day. Sarah and Scott originally had a large celebration planned, but like many other brides, COVID changed that. In a cautious manner they decided to move forward with their wedding with just their 12 closest family and friends. Despite the small guest count, the design aspect was large. Their outdoor ceremony took place surrounded by banyan trees under the most stunning Chuppah. Reception was followed with the most divine tent with flowing florals and hints of citrus.

The charming courtyard gardens, iconic archways and pillars, and classic elegance of Ebell of Los Angeles was not only the perfect backdrop, but also the inspiration behind the amazing shoot from To Be Loved Events that we are so excited to share with you today! Blooms Dunn Right chose soft yellow, coral, blush, and brighter pink roses for the bridal bouquet and centerpieces to mirror the warm tones of California’s sunsets, and created a stunning free-standing floral frame to highlight the couple during their intimate wedding ceremony. Stationery by Jackie Chen Design also takes centerstage in this shoot, featuring gorgeous calligraphy on luxe paper in the perfect shades to compliment the event. Dreamy, elegant, and a bit playful, today’s shoot is inspired by a bold and summery citrus-hued palette. Events with Becca designed a tablescape bursting with bright blooms, fresh-cut fruits, and a touch of romance from the beautiful calligraphy by Caitlin O’Bryant Design. The Bloom & Co. mixed florals in bold and buttery shades of yellow, orange, pink, and red, in both the stunning bouquet and centerpiece. Today’s wedding inspiration comes from the idea that downsizing your guest list and implementing social distancing measures into your big day does not mean that you have to downsize your vision! Magnolia Celebrates shows us ways to elevate your wedding style, such as using smaller, more intimate tables and creating unique tablescapes or place settings for each, using stately plate covers for a plated meal, or displaying a faux wedding cake throughout the event. The team behind today’s post was inspired by the old Spanish architecture of the venue. They incorporated shades of mauve, brick, cappuccino, and sage into the tablescapes, each table getting a unique set of linens and gorgeous florals by Flowers By Yona. So many wonderful ideas from this shoot and these photos by Caroline Willett are sure to give you lots of ideas for your own wedding, whether it will be in the time of social distancing or not!

While a bright and bold color palette will often be the one to steal the show, today’s inspiration from Iris and Oak Events proves that neutrals can very much hold their own in the spotlight! The fresh white walls of Felicity Church were the ideal clean slate for Leaf and Petal Nola to create a stunning garden of gold and white florals. Lush centerpieces — low compotes overflowing with monochromatic roses, orchids, and ranunculus — perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the runner-less wooden table set with gold flatware and cut glass. Holly and Jacob chose the beautiful Grandeur House for their fall wedding and the all-white farmhouse was the perfect backdrop to highlight all of the personal details they chose for their event. Dusty blue tablescapes were warmed by centerpieces from A Pocket Full of Posies in hues of rust, burgundy, and orange, reflecting the fall foliage outside, and Holly’s mother used stained glass from churches hit by Hurricane Katrina to make beautiful glass flowers for the tables. Small magnolia and Japanese red maple trees were even placed in the space for the evening but then brought to the couple’s home to be planted as a memory of their big day! They did an amazing job incorporating family heirlooms into their celebration while also creating new heirlooms and Jessica Brown Photography captured each of those details perfectly!

Kelsey and Scott exchanged vows in front of friends, family, and a spectacular cotton candy sunset on the bay where they both grew up. Even their adorable dog was able to enjoy the celebration, walking down the aisle adorned with the perfect floral collar! The couple chose to complement Waters Edge‘s natural beauty with french blue and sage tones, bleached driftwood collected by Scott’s mother, almost a thousand succulents, and clean white florals by Lush Flowers.
