Rebekah and Brad met the good ole fashion way: at a bar. Though it may be cheesy, it was pretty much love at first sight for both of them. Brad popped the question a year and a half later on a Malibu beach for the ultimate romantic proposal.
For their wedding, they planned an elegant black-tie affair for their dearest friends and family. Since it was summer, the couple chose to brighten a classic white color palette with lots of vibrant pinks. Rebekah wore a gorgeous custom Galia Lahav creation and Brad was dapper in his chic white tux. The reception featured rows and rows of lush peonies and floating candles to set the romantic mood. In their own words
We actually met the good ole fashion way at a bar in Houston called Concrete Cowboy haha. It sounds cheesy, but it was almost like love at first sight.
We got engaged about a year and a half later in Malibu where Brad proposed on the beautiful beach :)
Tell us a little a bit about your wedding (your vision, color, style, and location choices).
I loved lots of white and since it was a summer wedding lots of bright pinks! Some of my favorite wedding day details were my dress, Brad’s tux, our bar signage (especially for the Pennyrita), and the pretty pink flowers – seeing the transformation my planner and florist made to the ballroom was amazing!
Tell us about your attire choices.
I wore a gorgeous custom gown by Galia Lahav and Brad wore a chic white tux!
What were your favorite parts of the day? (memories and stories)
Some of my favorite wedding day memories were getting ready with all of my best girls at my parent’s house, seeing Brad for the first time when I was walking down the aisle, and being on the dance floor all night with all of my favorite people!
Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?
Enjoy the moment! Try not to get caught up in the stress. Everything will come together perfectly to make the best day!
