Venus Williams and actor-producer Andrea Preti just wrapped the most romantic, fashion-forward five-day wedding fête in Palm Beach, and it is pure Elizabeth Anne Designs energy; classic, elegant, and thoughtfully layered with meaning. Following their dreamy Italian celebration in September, the couple made their union official in Venus’s Florida hometown surrounded by closest family and friends.
A Love Story With Italian Romance
Venus and Andrea’s wedding story began in Italy, where they hosted an intimate ceremony on the island of Ischia along the Amalfi Coast in September, honoring his Italian roots and their shared love of la dolce vita. Because of timing and paperwork, the legal “I do” would have to wait, so they chose to extend the celebration with a second wedding in Florida a few months later. “We all love each other so much,” Venus shared. “It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
A Five-Day Palm Beach Celebration
The Florida wedding unfolded as an elegant five-day house-party-meets-hometown-homecoming in Palm Beach, where Venus and Serena grew up. Festivities began on Monday with a yacht day gifted by Serena, complete with curated food, music, and a tight guest list of about a dozen loved ones soaking up the ocean breeze, dancing, and catching up on the water. The week continued with relaxed-but-chic gatherings: a bridal shower on the couple’s own patio with an Asian-fusion dinner and Beyoncé dance session, a romantic dinner in Miami, and a playful sports day featuring volleyball, tennis, dodgeball, wheelbarrow races, and pickleball, a joyful nod to Venus’s legendary athleticism woven into the wedding weekend. They had a Gone With the Wind rehearsal dinner complete with custom menus from ArtScroll Printing Corp and natural foliage of Florida with thoughtful design by Cerka Creative and our favorite southern comforts like fried chicken from Creative Edge Parties.
An Intimate Sunrise Courthouse “I Do”
The couple officially tied the knot at a courthouse in Palm Beach at 6:45 a.m., a deliberate choice that gave them the entire space to themselves and turned a simple civil ceremony into something deeply sacred. Venus described the experience as calm, exalted, and dreamlike, while Andrea called it “very unique, emotional, and deep,” placing it just behind their Italian ceremony as one of the best days of his life. After their early-morning vows, they shared breakfast together, a beautifully understated, old-world gesture that fits their classic, timeless approach to celebration.
Classic Bridal Style With Couture Drama
Over the course of both weddings, Venus embraced a full bridal wardrobe that perfectly balanced modern glamour with enduring elegance. For the Palm Beach celebration, she chose a romantic lace gown with a plunging neckline, intricate beading, and a sheer, flowing veil adorned with delicate embroidery, paired with a pearl choker and earrings for a refined, heirloom-worthy finish. Throughout the multi-day festivities she changed into a series of looks from designers including Morilee New York, Georges Hobeika, Natali & Meital, Veni Infantino, and Eve of Milady. Think sequined white mini with a corseted bodice, a soft mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline, and polished day-to-night white ensembles that felt effortlessly bridal and entirely Venus. She had a custome bridal shower dress designed by Kim Kassas Couture. Her makeup was done by Angela Meadows and her nails were done by Natasha Gross. All of her styling was done by Kesha McLeod and Kyla Thomas with KMCME.
A Family-First, Timeless Wedding Vision
At the heart of it all was a focus on connection: handwritten vows, days spent at home and on the water with their inner circle, and celebrations that felt more like warmly curated gatherings than staged events. Planned by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events and shot by David Bastianoni the week balanced chic experiences: yacht cruising, Miami dinners, editorial-level fashion, with simple, sentimental moments that allowed their families to truly be together. As Venus reflected on the whirlwind of both Italy and Florida, one thread remained constant: it was all about joy, family, and building a life that feels as beautiful and intentional as the weddings themselves.
