During our cocktail hour, we not only had the time capsule room open, but we also brought in two blackjack tables and dealers from to entertain the guests. If I had to pick one thing that our guests overwhelmingly loved, this would be it.
The parlor room in the Atlanta Woman’s Club lended itself perfectly to blackjack – the doors to the room could be closed so the surprise wasn’t revealed as people were walking into the ceremony and the room was just the right size for two tables!

Charlie and I joined in the action too!
A small DIY project was the prize for the winner. I enlisted Laura Hooper to write “For the Winner” in her gorgeous Elegance script, arranged the text in Photoshop and printed it on my inkjet printer to sit on top of the poker chip set awarded to our champion.
In addition to the blackjack tables, local Atlanta jazz singer Nicole Chillemi performed in the main room – she was wonderful and we received so many compliments on her amazing voice!
Side note to those who asked – the template from the time capsule folders is online. You can find it here!
